2 O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth! You have set your majesty above the heavens!	2 O Signore, Signore nostro,quanto è mirabile il tuo nome su tutta la terra!Voglio innalzare sopra i cieli la tua magnificenza,
3 Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have drawn a defense against your foes, to silence enemy and avenger.	3 con la bocca di bambini e di lattanti:hai posto una difesa contro i tuoi avversari,per ridurre al silenzio nemici e ribelli.
4 When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars that you set in place--	4 Quando vedo i tuoi cieli, opera delle tue dita,la luna e le stelle che tu hai fissato,
5 What are humans that you are mindful of them, mere mortals that you care for them?	5 che cosa è mai l’uomo perché di lui ti ricordi,il figlio dell’uomo, perché te ne curi?
6 Yet you have made them little less than a god, crowned them with glory and honor.	6 Davvero l’hai fatto poco meno di un dio,di gloria e di onore lo hai coronato.
7 You have given them rule over the works of your hands, put all things at their feet:	7 Gli hai dato potere sulle opere delle tue mani,tutto hai posto sotto i suoi piedi:
8 All sheep and oxen, even the beasts of the field,	8 tutte le greggi e gli armentie anche le bestie della campagna,
9 The birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever swims the paths of the seas.	9 gli uccelli del cielo e i pesci del mare,ogni essere che percorre le vie dei mari.
10 O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth!	10 O Signore, Signore nostro,quanto è mirabile il tuo nome su tutta la terra!
