Psalms 77

1 For the leader; al Jeduthun. A psalm of Asaph.	1 Del maestro de coro. Al estilo de Iedutún. De Asaf. Salmo.
2 I cry aloud to God, cry to God to hear me.	2 Invocaré a Dios con toda mi voz, gritaré a Dios, y él me escuchará.
3 On the day of my distress I seek the Lord; by night my hands are raised unceasingly; I refuse to be consoled.	3 Busco al Señor en el momento de mi angustia; de noche, tiendo mi mano sin descanso, y mi alma rechaza todo consuelo.
4 When I think of God, I groan; as I ponder, my spirit grows faint. Selah	4 Yo me acuerdo de Dios, y me lamento; medito, y mi espíritu desfallece:
5 My eyes cannot close in sleep; I am troubled and cannot speak.	5 tú no me dejas conciliar el sueño, estoy turbado, y no puedo hablar.
6 I consider the days of old; the years long past	6 Pienso en los tiempos antiguos, me acuerdo de los días pasados;
7 I remember. In the night I meditate in my heart; I ponder and my spirit broods:	7 reflexiono de noche en mi interior, medito, y mi espíritu se pregunta:
8 "Will the Lord reject us forever, never again show favor?	8 ¿Puede el Señor rechazar para siempre? ¿Ya no volverá a mostrarse favorable?
9 Has God's love ceased forever? Has the promise failed for all ages?	9 ¿Se habrá agotado para siempre su amor, y habrá caducado eternamente su promesa?
10 Has God forgotten mercy, in anger withheld compassion?" Selah	10 ¿Se habrá olvidado Dios de su clemencia o, en su enojo, habrá contenido su compasión?
11 I conclude: "My sorrow is this, the right hand of the Most High has left us."	11 Entonces dije –¡y este es mi dolor!–: «¡Cómo ha cambiado la derecha del Altísimo!».
12 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, your wonders of old I will remember.	12 Yo recuerdo las proezas del Señor, sí, recuerdo sus prodigios de otro tiempo;
13 I will recite all your works; your exploits I will tell.	13 evoco todas sus acciones, medito en todas sus hazañas.
14 Your way, O God, is holy; what god is as great as our God?	14 Oh Dios, tus caminos son santos. ¿Hay otro dios grande como nuestro Dios?
15 You alone are the God who did wonders; among the peoples you revealed your might.	15 Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas, y revelaste tu poder entre las naciones.
16 With your arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Selah	16 Con tu brazo redimiste a tu pueblo, a los hijos de Jacob y de José.
17 The waters saw you, God; the waters saw you and lashed about, trembled even to their depths.	17 Cuando te vieron las aguas, oh Dios, cuando te vieron las aguas, temblaron, ¡se agitaron hasta los abismos del mar!
18 The clouds poured down their rains; the thunderheads rumbled; your arrows flashed back and forth.	18 Las nubes derramaron aguaceros, retumbaron los densos nubarrones y zigzaguearon tus rayos.
19 The thunder of your chariot wheels resounded; your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.	19 El trueno resonó en la bóveda del cielo, tus relámpagos iluminaron el mundo, tembló y se tambaleó la tierra.
20 Through the sea was your path; your way, through the mighty waters, though your footsteps were unseen.	20 Te abriste un camino entre las aguas, un sendero entre las aguas caudalosas, y no quedó ningún rastro de tus huellas.
21 You led your people like a flock under the care of Moses and Aaron.	21 Tú guiaste a tu pueblo como a un rebaño, por medio de Moisés y de Aarón.
