1 For the leader. A psalm of David; a song.	1 Del maestro de coro. De David. Salmo. Canto.
2 God will arise for battle; the enemy will be scattered; those who hate God will flee.	2 ¡Se alza Dios! Sus enemigos se dispersan y sus adversarios huyen delante de él.
3 The wind will disperse them like smoke; as wax is melted by fire, so the wicked will perish before God.	3 Tú los disipas como se disipa el humo; como se derrite la cera ante el fuego, así desaparecen los impíos ante Dios.
4 Then the just will be glad; they will rejoice before God; they will celebrate with great joy.	4 Pero los justos se regocijan, gritan de gozo delante de Dios y se llenan de alegría.
5 Sing to God, praise the divine name; exalt the rider of the clouds. Rejoice before this God whose name is the LORD.	5 ¡Canten a Dios, entonen un himno a su Nombre! ¡Abranle paso al que cabalga sobre las nubes! Su Nombre es «el Señor»: ¡griten de alegría en su presencia!
6 Father of the fatherless, defender of widows-- this is the God whose abode is holy,	6 Dios en su santa Morada es padre de los huérfanos y defensor de las viudas:
7 Who gives a home to the forsaken, who leads prisoners out to prosperity, while rebels live in the desert.	7 él instala en un hogar a los solitarios y hace salir con felicidad a los cautivos, mientras los rebeldes habitan en un lugar desolado.
8 God, when you went forth before your people, when you marched through the desert, Selah	8 Oh Dios, cuando saliste al frente de tu pueblo, cuando avanzabas por el desierto,
9 The earth quaked, the heavens shook, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.	9 tembló la tierra y el cielo dejó caer su lluvia, delante de Dios –el del Sinaí–, delante de Dios, el Dios de Israel.
10 You claimed a land as your own, O God;	10 Tú derramaste una lluvia generosa, Señor: tu herencia estaba exhausta y tú la reconfortaste;
11 your people settled there. There you poured abundant rains, God, graciously given to the poor in their need.	11 allí es estableció tu familia, y tú, Señor, la afianzarás por tu bondad para con el pobre.
12 All you people so numerous,	12 El Señor pronuncia una palabra y una legión de mensajeros anuncia la noticia:
13 b) Every household will share the booty,	13 «Huyen los reyes, huyen con sus ejércitos, y te repartes como botín los adornos de un palacio.
14 c) its wings covered with yellow gold."	14 ¡No se queden recostados entre los rebaños! Las alas de la Paloma están recubiertas de plata, y su plumaje, de oro resplandeciente»
15 When the Almighty routed the kings there, the spoils were scattered like snow on Zalmon.	15 Cuando el Todopoderoso dispersó a los reyes, caía la nieve sobre el Monte Umbrío.
16 You high mountains of Bashan, you rugged mountains of Bashan,	16 ¡Montañas divinas, montañas de Basán, montañas escarpadas, montañas de Basán!
17 You rugged mountains, why look with envy at the mountain where God has chosen to dwell, where the LORD resides forever?	17 ¿Por qué miran con envidia, montañas escarpadas, a la Montaña que Dios prefirió como Morada? ¡Allí el Señor habitará para siempre!
18 God's chariots were myriad, thousands upon thousands; from Sinai the Lord entered the holy place.	18 Los carros de guerra de Dios son dos miríadas de escuadrones relucientes; ¡el Señor está en medio de ellos, el Sinaí está en el Santuario!
19 You went up to its lofty height; you took captives, received slaves as tribute. No rebels can live in the presence of God.	19 Subiste a la altura llevando cautivos, recogiste dones entre los hombres –incluso entre los rebeldes– cuando te estableciste allí, Señor Dios.
20 Blessed be the Lord day by day, God, our salvation, who carries us. Selah	20 ¡Bendito sea el Señor, el Dios de nuestra salvación! El carga con nosotros día tras día;
21 Our God is a God who saves; escape from death is in the LORD God's hands.	21 él es el Dios que nos salva y nos hace escapar de la muerte.
22 God will crush the skulls of the enemy, the hairy heads of those who walk in sin.	22 Sí, Dios aplastará la cabeza de sus enemigos, el cráneo de los que se obstinan en sus delitos.
23 The Lord has said: "Even from Bashan I will fetch them, fetch them even from the depths of the sea.	23 Dice el Señor: «Los traeré de Basan, los traeré desde los abismos del mar,
24 You will wash your feet in your enemy's blood; the tongues of your dogs will lap it up."	24 para que hundas tus pies en la sangre del enemigo y la lengua de tus perros también tenga su parte».
25 Your procession comes into view, O God, your procession into the holy place, my God and king.	25 Ya apareció tu cortejo, Señor, el cortejo de mi Rey y mi Dios hacia el Santuario:
26 The singers go first, the harpists follow; in their midst girls sound the timbrels.	26 los cantores van al frente, los músicos, detrás; las jóvenes, en medio, van tocando el tamboril.
27 In your choirs, bless God; bless the LORD, you from Israel's assemblies.	27 ¡Bendigan al Señor en medio de la asamblea! ¡Bendigan al Señor desde la fuente de Israel!
28 In the lead is Benjamin, few in number; there the princes of Judah, a large throng, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali, too.	28 Allí Benjamín, el más pequeño, abre la marcha con los príncipes de Judá, vestidos de brocado, y con los príncipes de Zabulón y los príncipes de Neftalí.
29 Summon again, O God, your power, the divine power you once showed for us.	29 Tu Dios ha desplegado tu poder: ¡sé fuerte, Dios, tú que has actuado por nosotros!
30 Show it from your temple on behalf of Jerusalem, that kings may bring you tribute.	30 A causa de tu Templo, que está en Jerusalén, los reyes te presentarán tributo.
31 Roar at the wild beast of the reeds, the herd of mighty bulls, the lords of nations; scatter the nations that delight in war.	31 Reprime a la Fiera de los juncos, al tropel de los toros y terneros: que esos pueblos se rindan a tus pies, trayendo lingotes de oro. El Señor dispersó a los pueblos guerreros;
32 Exact rich tribute from lower Egypt, from upper Egypt, gold and silver; make Ethiopia extend its hands to God.	32 telas preciosas llegan de Egipto y Etiopía, con sus propias manos, presenta sus dones a Dios.
33 You kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; chant the praises of the Lord, Selah	33 ¡Canten al Señor, reinos de la tierra, entonen un himno a Dios,
34 Who rides the heights of the ancient heavens, whose voice is thunder, mighty thunder.	34 al que cabalga por el cielo, por el cielo antiquísimo! El hace oír su voz poderosa,
35 Confess the power of God, whose majesty protects Israel, whose power is in the sky.	35 ¡reconozcan el poder de Dios! Su majestad brilla sobre Israel y su poder, sobre las nubes.
36 Awesome is God in his holy place, the God of Israel, who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!	36 Tú eres temible, oh Dios, desde tus santuarios. El Dios de Israel concede a su pueblo el poder y la fuerza. ¡Bendito sea Dios!
