1 Of David. Grant me justice, LORD! I have walked without blame. In the LORD I have trusted; I have not faltered.	1 [Von David.] Schaffe mir Recht, Herr, denn in Unschuld bin ich gewandelt! Auf den Herrn vertraute ich, ohne zu wanken.
2 Test me, LORD, and try me; search my heart and mind.	2 Prüfe mich, Herr, und erprobe mich, erforsche mir Nieren und Herz!
3 Your love is before my eyes; I walk guided by your faithfulness.	3 Fürwahr, deine Huld stand mir vor Augen, in Treue zu dir bin ich gewandelt!
4 I do not sit with deceivers, nor with hypocrites do I mingle.	4 Bei falschen Menschen saß ich nie, und mit Hinterlistigen traf ich mich nicht.
5 I hate the company of evildoers; with the wicked I do not sit.	5 Ich mied den Kreis der Bösen; mit Gottlosen saß ich nicht beisammen.
6 I will wash my hands in innocence and walk round your altar, LORD,	6 In Unschuld wasche ich meine Hände und schreite um deinen Altar, o Herr,
7 Lifting my voice in thanks, recounting all your wondrous deeds.	7 um laut das Danklied zu singen und all deine Wunder zu künden.
8 LORD, I love the house where you dwell, the tenting-place of your glory.	8 Herr, ich liebe deines Hauses Stätte, den Ort, an dem deine Herrlichkeit wohnt.
9 Do not take me away with sinners, nor my life with the violent.	9 Raffe mich nicht mit den Sündern hinweg und mein Leben nicht mit den Blutbefleckten!
10 Their hands carry out their schemes; their right hands are full of bribes.	10 Verbrechen klebt an ihren Händen, und ihre Rechte ist voll von Bestechung.
11 But I walk without blame; redeem me, be gracious to me!	11 Ich aber wandle in Unschuld. Erlöse mich und erbarme dich meiner!
	12 Mein Fuß steht auf ebener Bahn; in den Festversammlungen will ich den Herrn lobpreisen!
