NEW AMERICAN BIBLEKING JAMES BIBLE
Of David. Grant me justice, LORD! I have walked without blame. In the LORD I have trusted; I have not faltered.1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
Test me, LORD, and try me; search my heart and mind.2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
Your love is before my eyes; I walk guided by your faithfulness.3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
I do not sit with deceivers, nor with hypocrites do I mingle.4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
I hate the company of evildoers; with the wicked I do not sit.5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
I will wash my hands in innocence and walk round your altar, LORD,6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
Lifting my voice in thanks, recounting all your wondrous deeds.7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
LORD, I love the house where you dwell, the tenting-place of your glory.8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
Do not take me away with sinners, nor my life with the violent.9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
Their hands carry out their schemes; their right hands are full of bribes.10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
But I walk without blame; redeem me, be gracious to me!11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
