1 A song of ascents. I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come?	1 Hodočasnička pjesma. K brdima oči svoje uzdižem: odakle će mi doći pomoć?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.	2 Pomoć je moja od Jahve koji stvori nebo i zemlju.
3 God will not allow your foot to slip; your guardian does not sleep.	3 Tvojoj nozi on posrnuti ne da i neće zadrijemati on, čuvar tvoj.
4 Truly, the guardian of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.	4 Ne, ne drijema i ne spava on, čuvar Izraelov.
5 The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your righthand.	5 Jahve je čuvar tvoj, Jahve je zasjen tvoj s desne tvoje!
6 By day the sun cannot harm you, nor the moon by night.	6 Neće ti sunce nauditi danju ni mjesec noću.
7 The LORD will guard you from all evil, will always guard your life.	7 Čuvao te Jahve od zla svakoga, čuvao dušu tvoju!
8 The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever.	8 Čuvao Jahve tvoj izlazak i povratak odsada dovijeka.
