1 These are the descendants of Esau (that is, Edom).	1 Eis a descendência de Esaú, também chamado Edom.
2 Esau took his wives from among the Canaanite women: Adah, daughter of Elon the Hittite; Oholibamah, granddaughter through Anah of Zibeon the Hivite;	2 Esaú tomou suas mulheres entre as filhas de Canaã: Ada, filha de Elon, o hiteu; Oolibama, filha de Ana, filha de Sebeon, o heveu;
3 and Basemath, daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.	3 e Basemat, filha de Ismael, irmã de Nabaiot.
4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau; Basemath bore Reuel;	4 Ada deu a Esaú, Elifaz; Basemat deu à luz Rauel, e Oolibama deu à luz Jeus, Ielon e Coré.
5 and Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These are the sons of Esau who were born to him in the land of Canaan.	5 Tais são os filhos nascidos a Esaú na terra de Canaã.
6 Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock comprising various animals and all the property he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and went to the land of Seir, out of the way of his brother Jacob.	6 Esaú tomou suas mulheres, seus filhos e suas filhas, assim como todo o seu pessoal, seus rebanhos, seus animais e todos os bens que tinha adquirido na terra de Canaã, e mudou-se para longe de seu irmão Jacó.
7 Their possessions had become too great for them to dwell together, and the land in which they were staying could not support them because of their livestock.	7 Seus bens eram, com efeito, numerosos demais para que pudessem morar juntos, e a terra em que habitavam não lhes bastava, por causa dos seus muitos rebanhos.
8 So Esau settled in the highlands of Seir. (Esau is Edom.)	8 Esaú estabeleceu-se na montanha de Seir. Esaú chamava-se também Edom.
9 These are the descendants of Esau, ancestor of the Edomites, in the highlands of Seir.	9 Eis a descendência de Esaú, pai de Edom, na montanha de Seir.
10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, son of Esau's wife Adah; and Reuel, son of Esau's wife Basemath.	10 Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, filho de Ada, mulher de Esaú; Rauel, filho de Basemat, mulher de Esaú.
11 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.	11 Os filhos de Elifaz foram: Temã, Omar, Sefo, Gatão e Cenez.
12 (Esau's son Eliphaz had a concubine Timna, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz.) These are the descendants of Esau's wife Adah.	12 Elifaz, filho de Esaú, tomou uma concubina, Tamna que lhe deu à luz Amalec. Estes são os filhos de Ada, mulher de Esaú.

24 Zibeon's descendants were Aiah and Anah. (He is the Anah who found water in the desert while he was pasturing the asses of his father Zibeon.)	24 Eis os filhos de Sebeon: Aja e Ana. 34 When Jobab died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, succeeded him as king. He defeated the Midianites in the country of Moab; the name of his city was Avith.	34 Morto Jobab, Husão, da terra dos temanitas, reinou em seu lugar.
