1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè nel deserto del Sinai, nella tenda del convegno, il primo del secondo mese, nel secondo anno dalla loro uscita dalla terra d'Egitto, e disse:
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;	2 "Fate il censimento di tutta la comunità dei figli d'Israele, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi di tutti i maschi, secondo le loro teste,
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.	3 da vent'anni in su, chiunque può essere schierato nell'esercito in Israele: li passerete in rassegna per schiere, tu e Aronne.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.	4 Sarà con voi un uomo per tribù, un uomo che sia a capo della sua casa paterna.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.	5 Questi sono i nomi degli uomini che vi assisteranno: per Ruben: Elisur, figlio di Sedeur;
6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.	6 per Simeone: Selumiel, figlio di Surisaddai;
7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.	7 per Giuda: Nacason, figlio di Amminadab;
8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.	8 per Issacar: Natanael, figlio di Suar;
9 Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.	9 per Zabulon: Eliab, figlio di Chelon;
10 Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.	10 per i figli di Giuseppe: per Efraim, Elisama, figlio di Ammiud; per Manasse, Gamliel, figlio di Pedasur;
11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.	11 per Beniamino: Abidan, figlio di Ghideoni;
12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.	12 per Dan: Achiezer, figlio di Ammisaddai;
13 Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.	13 per Aser: Paghiel, figlio di Ocran;
14 Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.	14 per Gad: Eliasaf, figlio di Deuel;
15 Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.	15 per Neftali: Achira, figlio di Enan.
16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.	16 Questi sono i chiamati della comunità, capi delle tribù dei loro padri, alla testa dei gruppi d'Israele".
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:	17 Mosè ed Aronne presero quegli uomini che erano stati designati per nome,
18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.	18 radunarono tutta la comunità il primo del secondo mese, e si registrarono per parentela in base alle loro famiglie, le loro case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su, secondo le loro teste.
19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.	19 Come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè, li passarono in rassegna nel deserto del Sinai.
20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	20 I figli di Ruben, primogenito d'Israele, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando tutti i maschi uno per uno, da vent'anni in su, di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.	21 i recensiti della tribù di Ruben furono 46.500.
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	22 I figli di Simeone, i loro discendenti, recensiti per famiglie e case paterne, contando tutti i maschi uno per uno, da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.	23 i recensiti della tribù di Simeone furono 59.300.
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	24 I figli di Gad, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su, di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.	25 i recensiti della tribù di Gad furono 45.650.
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	26 I figli di Giuda, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.	27 i recensiti della tribù di Giuda furono 74.600.
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	28 I figli di Issacar, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.	29 i recensiti della tribù di Issacar furono 54.400.
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	30 I figli di Zabulon, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.	31 i recensiti della tribù di Zabulon furono 57.400.
32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	32 I figli di Giuseppe: i figli di Efraim, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.	33 i recensiti della tribù di Efraim furono 40.500;
34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	34 i figli di Manasse, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.	35 i recensiti della tribù di Manasse furono 32.200.
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	36 I figli di Beniamino, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.	37 i recensiti della tribù di Beniamino furono 35.400.
38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	38 I figli di Dan, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.	39 i recensiti della tribù di Dan furono 62.700.
40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	40 I figli di Aser, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
41 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.	41 i recensiti della tribù di Aser furono 41.500.
42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	42 I figli di Neftali, i loro discendenti, per famiglie e case paterne, contando i nomi da vent'anni in su di chi poteva essere schierato nell'esercito:
43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.	43 i recensiti della tribù di Neftali furono 53.400.
44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.	44 Questi furono i recensiti da Mosè, con Aronne e i dodici capi d'Israele, uno per ogni casa paterna.
45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;	45 Tutti i figli d'Israele, recensiti per casa paterna, da vent'anni in su, che potevano essere schierati nell'esercito:
46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.	46 in totale furono 603.550.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.	47 Ma tra loro non furono recensiti i leviti, secondo la tribù dei loro padri.
48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,	48 Il Signore aveva detto a Mosè:
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:	49 "Solo la tribù di Levi non passerai in rassegna e non li recensirai tra i figli d'Israele.
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.	50 Ma disponi che i leviti si prendano cura della dimora della testimonianza, di tutti i suoi arredi e di tutto quello che ha: trasporteranno la dimora e tutti i suoi arredi, faranno il servizio e si accamperanno intorno alla dimora.
51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.	51 Quando la dimora dovrà spostarsi, i leviti la smonteranno, e quando la dimora si accamperà i leviti la erigeranno. Ogni estraneo che si avvicinerà sarà messo a morte.
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.	52 I figli d'Israele si accamperanno ognuno nel proprio accampamento, ognuno presso la propria insegna, secondo le loro schiere.
53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.	53 I leviti si accamperanno intorno alla dimora della testimonianza, in modo che non ci sia indignazione contro la comunità dei figli d'Israele. I leviti custodiranno il servizio della dimora della testimonianza".
54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.	54 I figli d'Israele si conformarono a tutto quello che il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè, e così fecero.
