1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,	1 - L'anno secondo dell'uscita degli Ebrei dall'Egitto, il primo giorno del secondo mese, il Signore parlò a Mosè nel deserto di Sinai, nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza e disse:
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;	2 «Fate il computo di tutta quanta l'assemblea de' figliuoli d'Israele, per casate e famiglie e individui, di tutti i maschi
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.	3 da vent'anni in su, di tutti gli uomini forti d'Israele; contateli a schiere a schiere, tu ed Aronne.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.	4 Saranno con voi i principali delle tribù, che siano capi di famiglie nella loro casata.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.	5 Sono questi i loro nomi: di Ruben, Elisur figlio di Sedeur;
6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.	6 di Simeon, Salamiel, figlio di Surisaddai;
7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.	7 di Giuda, Naasson figlio d'Aminadab;

16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.	16 Questi i principi della moltitudine, elettissimi nelle loro tribù e casate, capi dell'esercito d'Israele.

19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.	19 come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè. Il computo fu fatto nel deserto di Sinai.
20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	20 Discendenti da Ruben primogenito d'Israele, maschi da vent'anni in su, buoni alla guerra, contati col loro nome testa per testa, secondo le genealogie, le famiglie e le case loro, furono in tutto
21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.	21 quarantaseimila e cinquecento.
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	22 Discendenti da Simeon, secondo le genealogie, le famiglie e le case della loro stirpe, contati per nome e per testa, i maschi da vent'anni in su, buoni alla guerra furono in tutto
23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.	23 cinquantanovemila e trecento.
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	24 Discendenti da Gad, secondo le genealogie, le famiglie e le case della loro stirpe, furono contati e chiamati ciascuno per nome, da vent'anni in poi, tutti gli atti alla guerra,
25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.	25 quarantacinquemila e seicentocinquanta.
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	26 De' figli di Giuda, per genealogie, famiglie e case della loro stirpe, da vent'anni in su, per nome e per testa, quelli abili alla guerra furono in tutto
27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.	27 noverati a settantaquattromila e seicento.
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	28 De' figli d'Issacar, per genealogie, famiglie e case della loro stirpe, di vent'anni ed oltre atti alla guerra, chiamati ciascuno per nome,
29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.	29 ne furono noverati in tutto cinquantaquattromila e quattrocento.
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	30 Della tribù di Zabulon, chiamati a nome ciascuno, secondo le genealogie, famiglie e case della loro stirpe, tutti quelli di vent'anni e più che potevano andare alla guerra, ne furono recensiti
31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.	31 cinquantasettemila e quattrocento.
32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	32 Quanto ai discendenti di Giuseppe, i figli di Efraim di venti anni ed oltre, capaci alla guerra, contati ciascuno per nome, secondo le genealogie, le famiglie e le case della loro stirpe, furono
33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.	33 quarantamila e cinquecento.
34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	34 I figli poi di Manasse buoni alla guerra, da vent'anni in su secondo le genealogie, le famiglie e le case della loro stirpe, chiamati ciascuno a nome, furono in tutto
35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.	35 trentaduemila e duecento.
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	36 Della tribù di Beniamino, secondo le genealogie, famiglie e case della loro stirpe, furon registrati ciascuno per nome, da vent'anni in poi, tutti gli abili alla guerra,
37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.	37 trentacinquemila e quattrocento.
38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	38 Della tribù di Dan, per genealogie e famiglie e case di loro stirpe, furon registrati ciascuno per nome tutti i capaci d'andare alla guerra, di vent'anni e più, e furono
39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.	39 sessantaduemila e settecento.
40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	40 De' discendenti da Aser, per genealogie, famiglie e case della loro stirpe da vent'anni in su, atti alla guerra, furon noverati per nome e per testa
41 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.	41 quarantunmila e cinquecento.
42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	42 De' figli di Neftali buoni alla guerra, di vent'anni e più, segnati ciascuno a nome secondo le genealogie, le famiglie e le case della loro stirpe, ne furono numerati
43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.	43 cinquantatremila e quattrocento.
44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.	44 Questi sono i numerati da Mosè ed Aronne, e da' dodici principali d'Israele, ciascuno secondo le famiglie della sua casata.
45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;	45 E tutto il numero de' figli d'Israele, di vent'anni e più, capaci d'andare alla guerra, secondo le loro case e famiglie, fu di
46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.	46 seicentotremila e cinquecentocinquanta uomini.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.	47 Ma i leviti non furon computati fra questi, secondo le famiglie della loro tribù.
48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,	48 Perchè il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:	49 «Non fare il computo della tribù di Levi, e non annumerare i suoi figli tra gli altri figli d'Israele;
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.	50 ma affida a loro il tabernacolo della testimonianza con tutta la sua suppellettile, e tutto ciò che si riferisce al culto. Essi porteranno il tabernacolo e tutti i suoi utensili, ne avranno il servizio, e s'accamperanno attorno al tabernacolo.
51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.	51 Quando bisognerà partire, i leviti scomporranno il tabernacolo; quando bisognerà accamparsi, lo rimetteranno su; qualunque estraneo vi s'aggiungesse, sarà messo a morte.
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.	52 I figli d'Israele rizzeranno le tende, ciascuno secondo la compagnia, il corpo e l'armata a cui appartiene.
53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.	53 Ma i leviti porranno le tende torno a torno al tabernacolo, acciò la mia indignazione non cada sulla moltitudine de' figli d'Israele, e veglieranno a guardia del tabernacolo della testimonianza».
54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.	54 Fecero dunque i figli d'Israele secondo tutto quello che il Signore aveva comandato a Mosè.
