1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.	1 Beati quelli la cui via è perfetta, quelli che camminano nella legge del Signore.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.	2 Beati quelli che osservano i suoi voleri e lo cercano con tutto il cuore.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.	3 Sicuramente non commettono iniquità, ma camminano nelle sue vie.
4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.	4 Tu hai ordinato di custodir bene i tuoi comandi.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!	5 Siano stabili le mie vie affinché custodisca i tuoi decreti.
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.	6 Allora non dovrò arrossire, se avrò obbedito ai tuoi precetti.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.	7 Ti renderò grazie con cuore retto, allorché avrò appreso le tue giuste sentenze.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.	8 Custodirò i tuoi decreti: non abbandonarmi giammai.
9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.	9 In che modo potrà un giovane tener puro il suo sentiero? Custodendo le tue parole.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.	10 Con tutto il cuore ti cerco: non farmi deviare dai tuoi precetti.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.	11 Conservo nel mio cuore le tue promesse, in modo che non pecchi contro di te.
12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.	12 Benedetto sii tu, Signore: insegnami i tuoi decreti.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.	13 Enumero con le mie labbra tutti i giudizi della tua bocca.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.	14 Nella via dei tuoi voleri io pongo la mia gioia, al di sopra di ogni altro bene.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.	15 Voglio riflettere sui tuoi comandi, considerare le tue vie.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.	16 La mia gioia è nei tuoi decreti, non dimenticherò le tue parole.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.	17 Sii benevolo con il tuo servo: vivrò e custodirò le tue parole.
18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.	18 Apri i miei occhi, perché io veda le meraviglie della tua legge.
19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.	19 Pellegrino io sono sulla terra: non tenermi nascosti i tuoi precetti.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.	20 Si consuma la mia anima di desiderio verso i tuoi giudizi, in ogni tempo.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.	21 Tu hai minacciato gli orgogliosi: maledetti quelli che deviano dai tuoi precetti.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.	22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo, poiché ho osservato i tuoi voleri.
23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.	23 Siedono i potenti e sparlano di me; ma il tuo servo medita sui tuoi decreti.
24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.	24 I tuoi voleri sono la mia gioia, essi sono i miei consiglieri.
25 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.	25 Prostrata nella polvere è l'anima mia: ridammi vita secondo le tue parole.
26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.	26 Ti ho esposto le mie vie e mi hai dato risposta; insegnami i tuoi decreti.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.	27 La via dei tuoi comandi fammi capire: voglio meditare le tue meraviglie.
28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.	28 L'anima mia piange per la tristezza: dammi vigore secondo le tue parole.
29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.	29 La via della menzogna tieni lontano da me; fammi dono della tua legge.
30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.	30 La via della fedeltà ho scelto, ho preferito i tuoi giudizi.
31 I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.	31 Ho aderito ai tuoi voleri: fa', Signore, che io non rimanga confuso.
32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.	32 Io percorro la via dei tuoi precetti; sì, tu dilati il mio cuore.
33 Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.	33 Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decreti: voglio seguirla sino alla fine.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.	34 Dammi intelligenza per osservare la tua legge e custodirla con tutto il cuore.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.	35 Dirigimi sul sentiero dei tuoi precetti; sì, sta in esso il mio diletto.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.	36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi voleri e non verso la sete di guadagno.
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.	37 Distogli i miei occhi dallo scorgere cose vane; fammi vivere sulla tua via.
38 Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.	38 Conferma per il tuo servo la tua promessa, quella che conduce al tuo timore.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.	39 Allontana l'insulto che mi dà sgomento; sì, sono buoni i tuoi giudizi.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.	40 Ecco, io anelo verso i tuoi comandi: fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.
41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.	41 A me giunga, Signore, la tua misericordia, la tua salvezza, secondo la tua promessa.
42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.	42 A chi m'insulta saprò rispondere, poiché ho fiducia nella tua parola.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.	43 Non sottrarre dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, poiché ho speranza nel tuo giudizio.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.	44 Custodirò sempre la tua legge nei secoli, in eterno.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.	45 Camminerò con sicurezza; sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.	46 Davanti ai re parlerò dei tuoi voleri, senza mai vergognarmi.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.	47 Gioirò per i tuoi precetti: io li amo molto.
48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.	48 Alzerò le mie mani verso i tuoi precetti che amo e mediterò sui tuoi decreti.
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.	49 Ricordati della parola data al tuo servo: con essa tu mi hai dato speranza.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.	50 Questo mi ha consolato nella mia miseria; sì, la tua promessa mi ha fatto rivivere.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.	51 Mi hanno insultato aspramente i superbi; non ho deviato dalla tua legge.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.	52 Mi sono ricordato, Signore, dei tuoi eterni giudizi: ne sono rimasto consolato.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.	53 Lo sdegno mi ha preso contro gli empi, poiché non si curano della tua legge.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.	54 Son canti per me i tuoi voleri nella terra del mio pellegrinaggio.
55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.	55 Nella notte, Signore, ricordo il tuo nome; voglio custodire la tua legge.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.	56 Questo mi avviene, perché osservo i tuoi precetti.
57 Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.	57 La mia sorte, ho detto, è custodire le tue parole, o Signore.
58 I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.	58 Con tutto il cuore io cerco il tuo volto: fammi grazia secondo la tua promessa.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.	59 Ho esaminato le mie vie e ho rivolto i miei passi verso i tuoi voleri.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.	60 Mi affretto, non voglio tardare nel custodire i tuoi precetti.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.	61 Mi hanno avvinto i lacci degli empi, ma non dimentico la tua legge.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.	62 Nel cuore della notte mi alzo per renderti grazie a causa dei tuoi giusti giudizi.
63 I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.	63 Sono amico di tutti quelli che ti temono e di quelli che custodiscono i tuoi comandi.
64 The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.	64 Della tua misericordia, Signore, è piena la terra: fa' che apprenda i tuoi decreti.
65 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.	65 Hai beneficato il tuo servo, Signore, secondo la tua parola.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.	66 Insegnami buon senso e conoscenza: sì, sto saldo nei tuoi precetti.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.	67 Prima che fossi umiliato andavo errando. Ora mi attengo alla tua promessa.
68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.	68 Tu sei buono e tratti con benevolenza: insegnami i tuoi decreti.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.	69 Menzogna hanno gettato contro di me i superbi: con tutto il cuore osserverò i tuoi ordini.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.	70 Torpido come il grasso è il loro cuore: io mi diletto della tua legge.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.	71 Bene per me, se sono stato umiliato: imparerò la tua legge.
72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.	72 E' un bene per me la legge della tua bocca, più di migliaia di pezzi d'oro o d'argento.
73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.	73 Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato: fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi precetti.
74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.	74 Mi vedranno quelli che ti temono e ne avranno gioia; sì, spero nella tua parola.
75 I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.	75 So che sono giusti i tuoi giudizi, Signore, e con ragione mi hai umiliato.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.	76 Venga a consolarmi la tua misericordia, secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.
77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.	77 Giunga a me la tua pietà affinché io viva: sì, il mio diletto è la tua legge.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.	78 Abbiano vergogna i superbi per avermi oppresso ingiustamente: io mediterò sui tuoi comandi.
79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.	79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temono, quelli che conoscono i tuoi voleri.
80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.	80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti, sì che non abbia ad arrossire.
81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.	81 Si strugge l'anima mia verso la tua salvezza; io spero nella tua parola.
82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?	82 Si struggono i miei occhi verso la tua promessa e dico: "Quando mi darai conforto?".
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.	83 Sì, sono come un otre esposto al fumo, ma non ho dimenticato i tuoi decreti.
84 How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?	84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo? Quando farai il giudizio contro quelli che mi perseguitano?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.	85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gl'insolenti, i quali non seguono la tua legge.
86 All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.	86 Tutti i tuoi precetti sono veri. A torto mi perseguitano: accorri in mio aiuto.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.	87 Per poco non mi hanno bandito dalla terra, ma non ho abbandonato i tuoi comandi.
88 Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.	88 Dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia, e custodirò i voleri della tua bocca.
89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.	89 In eterno, Signore, rimane la tua parola; essa sta immobile come i cieli.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.	90 Per ogni generazione dura la tua fedeltà; hai reso salda la terra ed essa sta.
91 They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.	91 Per i tuoi giudizi oggi tutto sussiste, poiché tutte le cose servono a te.
92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.	92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia gioia, da tempo sarei perito nella mia afflizione.
93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.	93 Non mi dimenticherò mai i tuoi comandi, poiché con essi mi hai ridato la vita.
94 I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.	94 Io sono tuo: salvami! Sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.	95 Gli empi m'insidiano per gettarmi in rovina: ma io cerco di comprendere i tuoi voleri.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.	96 Di ogni cosa perfetta ho visto il limite; ma il tuo decreto è senza confini.
97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.	97 Quanto mi è cara la tua legge! Tutto il giorno la vado meditando.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.	98 Più sapiente dei miei nemici mi ha fatto il tuo precetto; sì, esso sta sempre con me.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.	99 Più saggio dei miei maestri son diventato, poiché i tuoi voleri son la mia meditazione.
100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.	100 Più degli anziani ho intelligenza, poiché ho osservato i tuoi comandi.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.	101 Da ogni via di male trattengo il mio piede, custodendo la tua parola.
102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.	102 Dai tuoi giudizi non ho deviato, poiché sei stato tu ad ammaestrarmi.
103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!	103 Dolci al mio palato le tue promesse, più che il miele alla mia bocca.
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.	104 Dai tuoi comandi ricevo intelligenza; per questo ho in odio ogni via di menzogna.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.	105 Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola, luce al mio cammino.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.	106 Lo giuro e lo confermo: custodirò i tuoi giusti giudizi.
107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.	107 Sono afflitto oltre misura: dammi vita, Signore, secondo la tua parola.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.	108 Gradisci, Signore, le offerte della mia bocca; insegnami i tuoi giudizi.
109 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.	109 La mia anima sta sempre sulle mie mani, ma non dimentico la tua legge.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.	110 Hanno teso lacci gli empi contro di me, ma non ho deviato dai tuoi comandi.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.	111 Mia eredità sono i tuoi voleri, per sempre; sì, sono la gioia del mio cuore.
112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.	112 Ho piegato il mio cuore ai tuoi decreti, per sempre, sino alla fine.
113 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.	113 Io detesto quelli che sono incostanti, amo invece la tua legge.
114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.	114 Mio riparo e mio scudo tu sei: spero nella tua parola.
115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.	115 Allontanatevi da me, o malvagi: voglio osservare i precetti del mio Dio.
116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.	116 Sostienimi secondo la tua promessa e vivrò; non deludermi dalla mia speranza.
117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.	117 Sostienimi e sarò salvo; mi rallegrerò sempre per i tuoi decreti.
118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.	118 Tu disprezzi quanti deviano dai tuoi decreti; sì, vano risulterà il loro pensiero.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.	119 Scorie tu stimi tutti gli empi del paese; per questo io amo i tuoi voleri.
120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.	120 La mia carne freme nella paura di te, ho timore dei tuoi giudizi.
121 I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.	121 Ho praticato il giudizio e la giustizia: non abbandonarmi a chi m'opprime.
122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.	122 Fatti garante a favore del tuo servo: non mi opprimano gli insolenti.
123 Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.	123 I miei occhi si struggono verso la tua salvezza, verso la tua promessa di giustizia.
124 Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.	124 Agisci con il tuo servo, secondo il tuo amore, insegnami i tuoi decreti.
125 I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.	125 Io sono tuo servo: dammi intelligenza, affinché conosca i tuoi voleri.
126 It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.	126 E' tempo di agire, Signore, hanno trasgredito la tua legge.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.	127 Per questo amo i tuoi precetti più che l'oro, più che l'oro raffinato.
128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.	128 Per questo reputo retti tutti i tuoi comandi, mentre detesto ogni sentiero di menzogna.
129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.	129 Meravigliosi sono i tuoi voleri; per questo li osserva l'anima mia.
130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.	130 La rivelazione delle tue parole dà luce; essa dà intelligenza ai semplici.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.	131 Apro anelante la mia bocca: sì, io bramo i tuoi precetti.
132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.	132 Vienimi incontro e abbi pietà di me, secondo il giudizio che tu riservi per chi ama il tuo nome.
133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.	133 Rinsalda i miei passi secondo la tua promessa; che io non sia dominato da alcuna iniquità.
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.	134 Riscattami dall'oppressione dell'uomo e custodirò i tuoi comandi.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.	135 Sul tuo servo fa' risplendere il tuo volto; insegnami i tuoi decreti.
136 Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.	136 Torrenti di lacrime grondano i miei occhi, perché non custodiscono la tua legge.
137 Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.	137 Tu sei giusto, Signore, e retti sono i tuoi giudizi.
138 Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.	138 Con giustizia hai imposto i tuoi voleri, con verità incomparabile.
139 My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.	139 Mi divora lo zelo per te perché i miei avversari hanno dimenticato le tue parole.
140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.	140 Purissima è la tua promessa: il tuo servo l'ama.
141 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.	141 Io sono piccolo e oggetto di disprezzo: non ho dimenticato i tuoi comandi.
142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.	142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eterna, verità è la tua legge.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.	143 Angustia e affanno mi hanno colto: i tuoi precetti sono la mia gioia.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.	144 Giustizia sempiterna sono i tuoi voleri; fammi comprendere e avrò la vita.
145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.	145 Grido con tutto il cuore: "Signore, rispondimi!". Voglio osservare i tuoi decreti.
146 I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.	146 Io grido a te: salvami! Voglio custodire i tuoi voleri.
147 I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.	147 Mi presento all'alba e grido aiuto: spero nelle tue parole.
148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.	148 Precedono i miei occhi le sentinelle nel meditare la tua promessa.
149 Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.	149 Ascolta, Signore, la mia voce, secondo la tua misericordia; dammi vita secondo i tuoi giudizi.
150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.	150 A tradimento mi assalgono quelli che mi perseguitano: sono lontani dalla tua legge.
151 Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.	151 Tu sei vicino, Signore, e veri sono i tuoi precetti.
152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.	152 Conosco da tempo i tuoi voleri; sì, tu li hai fissati per sempre.
153 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.	153 Volgi lo sguardo verso la mia miseria e salvami! Sì, non dimentico la tua legge.
154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.	154 Difendi la mia causa e riscattami; dammi vita secondo la tua promessa.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.	155 Lontano dai malvagi sta la salvezza poiché non cercano i tuoi decreti.
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.	156 Grande è, Signore, la tua pietà: dammi vita secondo i tuoi decreti.
157 Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.	157 Sono molti gli avversari che m'inseguono, ma non ho deviato dai tuoi voleri.

170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.	170 Venga la mia supplica al tuo cospetto, liberami secondo la tua promessa.
