Psalms 111

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.	1 Alleluia! Je rends grâce à Yahvé de tout coeur dans le cercle des justes et l'assemblée.
2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.	2 Grandes sont les oeuvres de Yahvé, dignes d'étude pour qui les aime.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.	3 Faste et splendeur, son ouvrage; sa justice demeure à jamais.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.	4 Il laisse un mémorial de ses merveilles. Yahvé est tendresse et pitié.
5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.	5 Il donne à qui le craint la nourriture, il se souvient de son alliance pour toujours.
6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.	6 Il fait voir à son peuple la vertu de ses oeuvres, en lui donnant l'héritage des nations.
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.	7 Justice et vérité, les oeuvres de ses mains, fidélité, toutes ses lois,
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.	8 établies pour toujours et à jamais, accomplies avec droiture et vérité.
9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.	9 Il envoie la délivrance à son peuple, il déclare pour toujours son alliance; saint et redoutable estson nom.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.	10 Principe du savoir: la crainte de Yahvé; bien avisés tous ceux qui s'y tiennent. Sa louangedemeure à jamais.
