Job 27

KING JAMES BIBLE	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,	1 És Jób folytatta szavait és így szólt:
2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;	2 »Az élő Istenre mondom, aki megrövidített igazamban, s a Mindenhatóra, aki keserűséggel illette lelkemet,
3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;	3 hogy amíg lélegzet van bennem, s az Isten lehelete van orromban,
4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.	4 ajkam nem beszél gonoszat, és nyelvem nem kohol hamisságot.
5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.	5 Távol legyen tőlem, hogy igazat adjak nektek! Mindhalálig nem tágítok abból, hogy ártatlan vagyok.
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.	6 Ragaszkodom igazamhoz, nem tágítok tőle; nem is vádolt engem a szívem teljes életemben!
7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.	7 Úgy járjon az ellenségem, mint a gonosz, s aki ellenem támad, mint az igaztalan.
8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?	8 Mert mi az istentelen reménye, mikor harácsol, s az Isten nem menti meg lelkét?
9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?	9 Meghallja-e Isten az ő kiáltását, ha eljön rá a szorongatás?
10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?	10 Örömét lelheti-e a Mindenhatóban, kiálthat-e Istenhez bármikor?
11 I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.	11 Megmutatom nektek Isten kezét, nem tartom titokban a Mindenható szándékát!
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?	12 Íme, ti mindnyájan tudjátok, miért beszéltek tehát ok nélkül hiábavalókat?
13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.	13 Ez a gonosz ember része Istentől, és a zsarnokok örökrésze, amelyet a Mindenhatótól vesznek:
14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.	14 fiai, ha sokasodnak, kard élére hányják őket, és sarjadéka nem lakhat jól kenyérrel.
15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.	15 Maradékait a döghalál viszi sírba, és özvegyeik nem siratják őket.
16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;	16 Hordjon bár össze annyi ezüstöt, mint a homok, szerezzen bár annyi ruhát, mint az agyag,
17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.	17 megszerzi ugyan, de az igaz ölti magára, az ezüstön pedig az ártatlan osztozik.
18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.	18 Házát csak pók módjára építi, csak olyan az, mint a csősz kunyhója.
19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.	19 A gazdag, ha aludni tér, nem visz magával semmit sem, ha kinyitja szemét, semmit sem talál;
20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.	20 mint az ár, úgy tör rá a szegénység, elragadja éjjel a förgeteg.
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.	21 Felkapja őt a perzselő szél és elviszi, s mint a forgószél, elfújja helyéről.
22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.	22 És rá lő kímélet nélkül, úgy, hogy futva menekül keze elől.
23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.	23 Összecsapja fölötte kezét, és pisszeg fölötte, amint helyére néz.
