EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Der Herr sprach zu Mose:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 Befiehl den Israeliten und sag ihnen, wenn ihr nach Kanaan kommt: Das ist das Land, das euch als erblicher Besitz zufällt, Kanaan in seinen jetzigen Grenzen.	2 'Give the Israelites this order. Say: "When you enter the country (Canaan), this will be the countrywhich forms your heritage. This is Canaan as defined by its boundaries:
3 Eure Südgrenze soll von der Wüste Zin aus an Edom entlang verlaufen, und zwar soll sie vom Ende des Salzmeers im Osten ausgehen.	3 "The southern part of your country wil start from the desert of Zin, on the borders of Edom. Yoursouthern boundary wil start on the east at the end of the Salt Sea.
4 Dann soll eure Grenze südlich des Skorpionenpasses sich bis Zin erstrecken. Ihre Ausläufer sollen bis südlich von Kadesch-Barnea reichen. Von dort soll sie sich bis Hazar-Addar und bis Azmon hinziehen.	4 It wil then turn south towards the Ascent of the Scorpions and go by Zin to end in the south atKadesh-Barnea. It wil then run towards Hazar-Addar and pass through Azmon.
5 Von Azmon soll die Grenze zum Grenzbach Ägyptens abbiegen und die Ausläufer der Grenze sollen bis zum Meer reichen.	5 From Azmon the boundary wil turn towards the Torrent of Egypt and end at the Sea.
6 Eure Grenze im Westen soll das Große Meer mit seinem Strand sein. Das sei eure Westgrenze.	6 "Your seaboard wil be on the Great Sea; this will be your western boundary.
7 Das sei eure Nordgrenze: Vom Großen Meer sollt ihr euch eine Linie bis zum Berg Hor abstecken,	7 "Your northern boundary wil be as fol ows: you wil draw a line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor,
8 und vom Berg Hor eine Linie bis Lebo-Hamat. Die Ausläufer dieser Grenze sollen bis Zedad reichen.	8 then from Mount Hor you wil draw a line to the Pass of Hamath, and the boundary will end at Zedad.
9 Dann soll die Grenze weitergehen bis Sifron und ihre Ausläufer sollen bis Hazar-Enan reichen. Das sei eure Nordgrenze.	9 From there it wil run on to Ziphron and end at Hazar-Enan. This wil be your northern boundary.
10 Als Ostgrenze sollt ihr eine Linie von Hazar-Enan bis Schefam abstecken.	10 "You will then draw your eastern boundary from Hazar-Enan to Shepham.
11 Von Schefam soll die Grenze nach Ribla östlich von Ajin hinuntersteigen. Dann soll die Grenze zum Rand des Gebirges östlich des Sees von Kinneret hinuntergehen.	11 The boundary wil run down from Shepham towards Riblah on the east side of Ain. Further down itwil keep to the eastern shore of the Sea of Chinnereth.
12 Dann soll die Grenze zum Jordan hinunterführen und ihre Ausläufer sollen bis zum Salzmeer reichen. Das seien die Grenzen rings um euer Land.	12 The frontier wil then fol ow the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. "Such wil be your country with theboundaries surrounding it." '
13 Da befahl Mose den Israeliten: Das ist das Land, das ihr durch das Los als Erbbesitz verteilen sollt. Der Herr hat befohlen, es den neuneinhalb Stämmen zu geben;	13 Moses then gave the Israelites this order: 'This is the country, where your heritages wil be assignedby lot, and which Yahweh has ordered to be given to the nine tribes and the half-tribe,
14 denn der Stamm der Rubeniter mit seinen Sippen und der Stamm der Gaditer mit seinen Sippen und der halbe Stamm Manasse haben ihren Erbbesitz schon erhalten.	14 for the tribe of the Reubenites with their families and the tribe of the Gadites with their families havealready received their heritage; the half-tribe of Manasseh has also received its heritage.
15 Diese zweieinhalb Stämme haben ihren Erbbesitz jenseits des Jordan erhalten, östlich von Jericho.	15 These two tribes and the half-tribe have received their heritage on the other side of the Jordan byJericho, to the east, towards the sunrise.'
16 Der Herr sprach zu Mose:	16 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
17 Das sind die Namen der Männer, die das Land unter euch verteilen sollen: der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns.	17 'Here are the names of the men who wil divide the country up for you: the priest Eleazar andJoshua son of Nun,
18 Außerdem nehmt zur Verteilung des Landes je einen führenden Mann aus jedem Stamm hinzu!	18 and you wil take one leader from each tribe to divide the country up into heritages.
19 Das sind die Namen dieser Männer: für den Stamm Juda Kaleb, der Sohn Jefunnes;	19 Here are the names of these men: 'For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
20 für den Stamm der Simeoniter Schemuël, der Sohn Ammihuds;	20 'for the tribe of the Simeonites, Shemuel son of Ammihud;
21 für den Stamm Benjamin Elidad, der Sohn Kislons;	21 'for the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;
22 für den Stamm der Daniter der Anführer Bukki, der Sohn Joglis;	22 'for the tribe of the Danites, the leader Bukki son of Jogli;
23 bei den Josefstämmen für den Stamm der Manassiter der Anführer Hanniël, der Sohn Efods,	23 'for the sons of Joseph: for the tribe of Manasseh, the leader Hanniel son of Ephod;
24 und für den Stamm der Efraimiter der Anführer Kemuël, der Sohn Schiftans;	24 'for the tribe of the Ephraimites, the leader Kemuel son of Shiphtan;
25 für den Stamm der Sebuloniter der Anführer Elizafan, der Sohn Parnachs;	25 'for the tribe of the Zebulunites, the leader Elizaphan son of Parnach;
26 für den Stamm der Issachariter der Anführer Paltiël, der Sohn Asans;	26 'for the tribe of the Issacharites, the leader Paltiel son of Azzan;
27 für den Stamm der Ascheriter der Anführer Ahihud, der Sohn Schelomis;	27 'for the tribe of the Asherites, the leader Ahihud son of Shelomi;
28 für den Stamm der Naftaliter der Anführer Pedahel, der Sohn Ammihuds.	28 'for the tribe of the Naphtalites, the leader Pedahel son of Ammihud.'
29 Das waren die Männer, die der Herr dazu verpflichtete, in Kanaan den Israeliten ihren Erbanteil zuzuteilen.	29 These were the men whom Yahweh ordered to divide Canaan into heritages for the Israelites.
