1 ܘܡܢ ܒܬܪܟܢ ܐܫܘܕ ܪܘܚܝ ܥܠ ܟܠܒܣܪ ܘܢܬܢܒܘܢ ܒ̈ܢܝܟܘܢ ܘܒܢ̈ܬܟܘܢ ܘܣܒܝ̈ܟܘܢ ܚ̈ܠܡܐ ܢܚܠܡܘܢ ܘܥܠܝܡ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܚܙܘ̈ܢܐ ܢܚܙܘܢ	1 'After this I shal pour out my spirit on al humanity. Your sons and daughters shal prophesy, your oldpeople shall dream dreams, and your young people see visions.
2 ܘܐܦ ܥܠ ܥܒ̈ܕܐ ܘܥܠ ܐ̈ܡܗܬܐ ܐܫܘܕ ܪܘܚܝ ܒܝ̈ܘܡܬܐ ܗܢܘܢ	2 Even on the slaves, men and women, shall I pour out my spirit in those days.
3 ܘܐܥܒܕ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܘܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܐ ܘܢܘܪܐ ܘܥܛܪܐ ܕܬܢܢܐ	3 I shall show portents in the sky and on earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.'
4 ܫܡܫܐ ܢܬܗܦܟ ܠܚܫܘܟܐ ܘܣܗܪܐ ܠܕܡܐ ܩܕܡ ܕܢܐܬܐ ܝܘܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܪܒܐ ܘܕܚܝܠܐ	4 The sun wil be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the Day comes, that great andterrible Day.
5 ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܐ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܢܬܦܨܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܛܘܪܐ ܕܨܗܝܘܢ ܘܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܬܗܘܐ ܡܫܘܙܒܘܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܫ̈ܘܙܒܐ ܕܩܪܐ ܡܪܝܐ	5 All who call on the name of Yahweh wil be saved, for on Mount Zion wil be those who have escaped,as Yahweh has said, and in Jerusalem a remnant whom Yahweh is calling.
