1 Bildad de Chua tomou então a palavra nestes termos:	1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 A ele, o poder e a majestade, em sua alta morada faz reinar a paz.	2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 Podem ser contadas as suas legiões? Sobre quem não se levanta a sua luz?	3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 Como seria justo o homem diante de Deus, como seria puro o filho da mulher?	4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 Até mesmo a luz não brilha, e as estrelas não são puras a seus olhos;	5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 quanto menos o homem, esse verme, e o filho do homem, esse vermezinho.	6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
