1 Bildad de Chua tomou então a palavra nestes termos:	1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 A ele, o poder e a majestade, em sua alta morada faz reinar a paz.	2 Dominion and awesomeness are his who brings about harmony in his heavens.
3 Podem ser contadas as suas legiões? Sobre quem não se levanta a sua luz?	3 Is there any numbering of his troops? Yet to which of them does not his light extend?
4 Como seria justo o homem diante de Deus, como seria puro o filho da mulher?	4 How can a man be just in God's sight, or how can any woman's child be innocent?
5 Até mesmo a luz não brilha, e as estrelas não são puras a seus olhos;	5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clear in his sight.
6 quanto menos o homem, esse verme, e o filho do homem, esse vermezinho.	6 How much less man, who is but a maggot, the son of man, who is only a worm?
