1 Bildad de Chua tomou então a palavra nestes termos:	1 Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and I said:
2 A ele, o poder e a majestade, em sua alta morada faz reinar a paz.	2 Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.
3 Podem ser contadas as suas legiões? Sobre quem não se levanta a sua luz?	3 Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise?
4 Como seria justo o homem diante de Deus, como seria puro o filho da mulher?	4 Can man be justified compared with God, or he that is born of a woman appear clean?
5 Até mesmo a luz não brilha, e as estrelas não são puras a seus olhos;	5 Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 quanto menos o homem, esse verme, e o filho do homem, esse vermezinho.	6 How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm?
