1 Au maître de chant. Avec les flûtes. Psaume de David.	1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
2 Seigneur, entends mes paroles et comprends ma plainte.	2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
3 Écoute mon cri, ô mon roi et mon Dieu. C’est toi que je supplie,	3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
4 Seigneur, dès le matin tu entends ma voix, dès le matin j’offre mes vœux et j’attends.	4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5 Car toi, tu n’es pas Dieu pour aimer le mal, le méchant n’entrera pas chez toi.	5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Les arrogants ne tiennent pas devant tes yeux, tu détestes ceux qui font le mal	6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
7 et tu casses les reins aux diseurs de mensonge. Le violent et celui qui fraude, le Seigneur les déteste.	7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
8 Mais moi, par ta grande bonté, j’ai accès à ta Maison, face à ton saint Temple je me prosterne et j’adore.	8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
9 Guide-moi, Seigneur, selon ta justice, tu vois que mes ennemis veillent, aplanis tes chemins devant moi.	9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Car rien n’est sûr de ce qu’ils disent et ils ne pensent qu’à nuire. Ils ont la flatterie dans la bouche, mais leur gosier est une tombe ouverte.	10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 Condamne-les, mon Dieu, et que leurs projets échouent; chasse-les pour tous leurs crimes puisqu’ils se sont révoltés contre toi.	11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 Quelle fête alors pour ceux qui s’abritent en toi, quelle joie sans fin pour ceux que tu protèges, quels cris de joie chez ceux qui aiment ton nom!	12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
13 Car toi, Seigneur, tu bénis le juste, ta grâce l’enveloppe et le protège.
