1 Cantico de' gradi. Beati tutti che temono il Signore, li quali vanno nelle vie sue.	1 [Song of Ascents Of Solomon] If Yahweh does not build a house in vain do its builders toil. If Yahwehdoes not guard a city in vain does its guard keep watch.
2 Per che mangerai le fatiche delle tue mani; iu sei beato, e ti sarà bene.	2 In vain you get up earlier, and put off going to bed, sweating to make a living, since it is he whoprovides for his beloved as they sleep.
3 La mogliere tua sarà come vite abbondante, nelli lati della casa tua. Gli figliuoli tuoi (sono) come piante novelle di olivari, intorno alla mensa tua.	3 Sons are a birthright from Yahweh, children are a reward from him.
4 Ecco che a tale modo sarà benedetto l' uomo che teme il Signore.	4 Like arrows in a warrior's hand are the sons you father when young.
5 A te benedica il Signore di Sion; possi vedere li beni di Ierusalem in tutti li giorni della vita tua.	5 How blessed is the man who has fil ed his quiver with them; in dispute with his enemies at the citygate he wil not be worsted.
6 E possi vedere li figliuoli delli figliuoli tuoi, e la pace sopra Israel.
