Osea 6

BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Nella loro tribolazione si alzeran subito per tornare a me. Su via torniamo al Signore:	1 Come, let us return to Yahweh. He has rent us and he wil heal us; he has struck us and he will bind upour wounds;
2 lui, che ci ha feriti, ci guarirà; ci ha percossi e ci curerà;	2 after two days he wil revive us, on the third day he wil raise us up and we shal live in his presence.
3 dopo due giorni ci farà rivivere, il terzo giorno ci farà risuscitare, e noi vivremo dinanzi a lui. Lo conosceremo, lo impareremo a conoscere il Signore. La sua venuta è preparata come quella dell'aurora, e verrà a noi come la pioggia di primavera e di autunno.	3 Let us know, let us strive to know Yahweh; that he will come is as certain as the dawn. He wil come tous like a shower, like the rain of springtime to the earth.
4 Che devo farti, o Efraim? Che devo farti, o Giuda? La vostra bontà è come nuvola, mattutina, come rugiada che al mattino sparisce.	4 What am I to do with you, Ephraim? What am I to do with you, Judah? For your love is like morningmist, like the dew that quickly disappears.
5 Per questo io li feci in pezzi coi miei profeti, li uccisi colle parole della mia bocca. E la tua condanna verrà fuori come la luce,	5 This is why I have hacked them to pieces by means of the prophets, why I have kil ed them with wordsfrom my mouth, why my sentence wil blaze forth like the dawn-
6 perchè io voglio la misericordia e non il sacrifizio, la conoscenza di Dio più degli olocausti.	6 for faithful love is what pleases me, not sacrifice; knowledge of God, not burnt offerings.
7 Ma essi come Adamo han violato il mio patto, han prevaricato contro di me.	7 But they have broken the covenant at Adam, there they have betrayed me.
8 Galaad, città di fabbricatori d'idoli, è distrutta pel sangue,	8 Gilead is a city of evil-doers, ful of bloody footprints.
9 e come le fauci dei ladroni s'è unita ai sacerdoti che per la via uccidon quindi chi vengon da Sichem, perchè si son dati al delitto.	9 Like so many robbers in ambush, a gang of priests commits murder on the road to Shechem- whatinfamous behaviour!
10 Orribili cose ho viste nella casa d'Israele: ivi le fornicazioni d'Efraim: Israele s'è contaminato.	10 At Bethel I have seen a horrible thing; there Ephraim plays the whore, Israel is befouled.
11 Ed anche tu, o Giuda, preparati la messe, per quando io ricondurrò gli schiavi del mio popolo.	11 For you too, Judah, a harvest is in store, when I restore my people's fortunes.
