KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Áldjad, én lelkem, az Urat! Uram, én Istenem, te mindennél magasztosabb vagy! Fenségbe és ékességbe öltöztél,	1 Bless Yahweh, my soul, Yahweh, my God, how great you are! Clothed in majesty and splendour,
2 a fényességet, mint köntöst vetted magadra. Kifeszíted az égboltozatot, mint a sátorponyvát,	2 wearing the light as a robe! You stretch out the heavens like a tent,
3 és az égi vizek fölé építed hajlékodat. Szekereddé teszed a fellegeket, a szelek szárnyain jársz.	3 build your palace on the waters above, making the clouds your chariot, gliding on the wings of thewind,
4 Követeiddé teszed a szeleket, szolgáiddá a perzselő tüzet.	4 appointing the winds your messengers, flames of fire your servants.
5 Biztos alapra állítottad a földet, hogy meg ne inogjon sohasem.	5 You fixed the earth on its foundations, for ever and ever it shal not be shaken;
6 Az örvénylő mélység mint ruha takarta, vizek borították a hegyeket.	6 you covered it with the deep like a garment, the waters overtopping the mountains.
7 De a te fenyegetésedre megfutamodtak, szerteriadtak mennydörgésed szavától.	7 At your reproof the waters fled, at the voice of your thunder they sped away,
8 A hegyek fölemelkedtek, a völgyek leereszkedtek arra a helyre, ahol alapjukat megvetetted.	8 flowing over mountains, down val eys, to the place you had fixed for them;
9 Határt szabtál a vizeknek, amelyet nem léphetnek át, hogy el ne borítsák ismét a földet.	9 you made a limit they were not to cross, they were not to return and cover the earth.
10 A forrásokat a völgyekbe ereszted, hogy folyjanak a hegyek között.	10 In the ravines you opened up springs, running down between the mountains,

13 Hajlékaidból megöntözöd a hegyeket, és műveid gyümölcséből táplálod a földet.	13 From your high hal s you water the mountains, satisfying the earth with the fruit of your works:
14 Füvet sarjasztasz az állatoknak, és növényeket az ember szolgálatára, kenyeret adsz a földből,	14 for cattle you make the grass grow, and for people the plants they need, to bring forth food from theearth,
15 és bort, hogy vidámítsa az ember szívét; Hogy ragyogjon arca az olajtól, és a kenyér erősítse az ember szívét.	15 and wine to cheer people's hearts, oil to make their faces glow, food to make them sturdy of heart.
16 Jóllaknak az Úr fái, s a Libanon cédrusai, amelyeket ő ültetett.	16 The trees of Yahweh drink their fill, the cedars of Lebanon which he sowed;
17 Fészket raknak rajtuk a verebek, és fölöttük tanyázik a gólya.	17 there the birds build their nests, on the highest branches the stork makes its home;
18 A magas hegyek a szarvasok, a szirtek a borzok menedéke.	18 for the wild goats there are the mountains, in the crags the coneys find refuge.
19 Megalkottad a holdat az idő mérésére, a napot, amely tudja, mikor kell lenyugodnia.	19 He made the moon to mark the seasons, the sun knows when to set.
20 Sötétséget rendelsz és leszáll az éjszaka: ebben mozognak az erdő vadjai,	20 You bring on darkness, and night fal s, when al the forest beasts roam around;
21 prédáért ordítanak az oroszlánkölykök, s eledelt kérnek maguknak Istentől.	21 young lions roar for their prey, asking God for their food.
22 Ha felkél a nap, összegyűlnek, nyugalomra térnek tanyájukon.	22 The sun rises and away they steal, back to their lairs to lie down,
23 Az ember kimegy dolgozni, és munkáját végzi egészen estig.	23 and man goes out to work, to labour til evening falls.
24 Uram, milyen nagyok a te műveid! Bölcsességgel teremtetted valamennyit, és alkotásaid betöltötték a földet.	24 How countless are your works, Yahweh, al of them made so wisely! The earth is ful of yourcreatures.
25 Itt a tenger: nagy és tágas, nyüzsög benne a számtalan hüllő, apró és nagy állat egyaránt.	25 Then there is the sea, with its vast expanses teeming with countless creatures, creatures both greatand smal ;
26 Itt hajók szelik át, amott a Leviatán, amelyet arra alkottál, hogy játékát űzze benne.	26 there ships pass to and fro, and Leviathan whom you made to sport with.
27 Mindezek tőled várják, hogy idejében megadd nekik eledelüket.	27 They al depend upon you, to feed them when they need it.
28 Ha adsz nekik, felszedik, ha megnyitod kezedet, jóllaknak javaiddal.	28 You provide the food they gather, your open hand gives them their fil .
29 De ha elfordítod arcodat, megrémülnek, ha lélegzetüket megvonod, elenyésznek, és porrá lesznek ismét.	29 Turn away your face and they panic; take back their breath and they die and revert to dust.
30 Kiárasztod lelkedet, s ők életre kelnek, és megújítod a föld színét.	30 Send out your breath and life begins; you renew the face of the earth.
31 Dicsőség az Úrnak mindörökké, örvendezzen műveinek az Úr,	31 Glory to Yahweh for ever! May Yahweh find joy in his creatures!
32 akinek a tekintetére megremeg a föld, s érintésére füstöt vetnek a hegyek.	32 At his glance the earth trembles, at his touch the mountains pour forth smoke.
33 Énekelek az Úrnak, amíg élek, amíg leszek, zsoltárt zengek Istenemnek.	33 I shal sing to Yahweh al my life, make music for my God as long as I live.
34 Beszédem legyen kedves előtte, én pedig az Úrban leljem gyönyörűségem.	34 May my musings be pleasing to him, for Yahweh gives me joy.
35 Vesszenek el a bűnösök a földről, és ne legyenek többé az istentelenek! Áldjad, én lelkem, az Urat!	35 May sinners vanish from the earth, and the wicked exist no more! Bless Yahweh, my soul.
