1 Al Director. De los hijos de Coré. «Sobre las doncellas». Cántico.	1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah For oboe Song] God is both refuge and strength for us, ahelp always ready in trouble;
2 Dios es nuestro refugio y nuestra fuerza, | poderoso defensor en el peligro.	2 so we shall not be afraid though the earth be in turmoil, though mountains tumble into the depths ofthe sea,
3 Por eso no tememos aunque tiemble la tierra, | y los montes se desplomen en el mar.	3 and its waters roar and seethe, and the mountains totter as it heaves. (Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, ourcitadel, the God of Jacob.)Pause
4 Que hiervan y bramen sus olas, | que sacudan a los montes con su furia: | el Señor del universo está con nosotros, | nuestro alcázar es el Dios de Jacob. (Pausa)	4 There is a river whose streams bring joy to God's city, it sanctifies the dwel ing of the Most High.
5 Un río y sus canales alegran la ciudad de Dios, | el Altísimo consagra su morada.	5 God is in the city, it cannot fal ; at break of day God comes to its rescue.
6 Teniendo a Dios en medio, no vacila; | Dios la socorre al despuntar la aurora.	6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are tumbling, when he raises his voice the earth crumbles away.
7 Los pueblos se amotinan, los reyes se rebelan; | pero él lanza su trueno, y se tambalea la tierra.	7 Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob. Pause
8 El Señor del universo está con nosotros, | nuestro alcázar es el Dios de Jacob. (Pausa)	8 Come, consider the wonders of Yahweh, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth;
9 Venid a ver las obras del Señor, | las maravillas que hace en la tierra:	9 he puts an end to wars over the whole wide world, he breaks the bow, he snaps the spear, shields heburns in the fire.
10 pone fin a la guerra hasta el extremo del orbe, | rompe los arcos, quiebra las lanzas, | prende fuego a los escudos.	10 'Be stil and acknowledge that I am God, supreme over nations, supreme over the world.'
11 «Rendíos, reconoced que yo soy Dios: | más alto que los pueblos, | más alto que la tierra».	11 Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob.Pause
12 El Señor del universo está con nosotros, | nuestro alcázar es el Dios de Jacob. (Pausa)
