1 Aleluya. |Alabad al Señor, que la música es buena; | nuestro Dios merece una alabanza armoniosa.	1 Hallelujah! How good to celebrate our God in song; how sweet to give fitting praise.
2 El Señor reconstruye Jerusalén, | reúne a los deportados de Israel;	2 The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, gathers the dispersed of Israel,
3 él sana los corazones destrozados, | venda sus heridas.	3 Heals the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds,
4 Cuenta el número de las estrellas, | a cada una la llama por su nombre.	4 Numbers all the stars, calls each of them by name.
5 Nuestro Señor es grande y poderoso, | su sabiduría no tiene medida.	5 Great is our Lord, vast in power, with wisdom beyond measure.
6 El Señor sostiene a los humildes, | humilla hasta el polvo a los malvados.	6 The LORD sustains the poor, but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Entonad la acción de gracias al Señor, | tocad la cítara para nuestro Dios,	7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; with the lyre celebrate our God,
8 que cubre el cielo de nubes, | preparando la lluvia para la tierra; | que hace brotar hierba en los montes, | para los que sirven al hombre;	8 Who covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, makes grass sprout on the mountains,
9 que da su alimento al ganado | y a las crías de cuervo que graznan.	9 Who gives animals their food and ravens what they cry for.
10 No aprecia el vigor de los caballos, | no estima los jarretes del hombre:	10 God takes no delight in the strength of horses, no pleasure in the runner's stride.
11 el Señor aprecia a los que lo temen, | que confían en su misericordia.	11 Rather the LORD takes pleasure in the devout, those who await his faithful care.
12 Glorifica al Señor, Jerusalén; | alaba a tu Dios, Sión.	12 Glorify the LORD, Jerusalem; Zion, offer praise to your God,
13 Que ha reforzado los cerrojos de tus puertas, | y ha bendecido a tus hijos dentro de ti;	13 Who has strengthened the bars of your gates, blessed your children within you,
14 ha puesto paz en tus fronteras, | te sacia con flor de harina.	14 Brought peace to your borders, and filled you with finest wheat.
15 Él envía su mensaje a la tierra, | y su palabra corre veloz;	15 The LORD sends a command to earth; his word runs swiftly!
16 manda la nieve como lana, | esparce la escarcha como ceniza.	16 Thus snow is spread like wool, frost is scattered like ash,
17 Hace caer el hielo como migajas; | ante su helada, ¿quien resistirá?	17 Hail is dispersed like crumbs; before such cold the waters freeze.
18 envía una orden, y se derriten; | sopla su aliento, y corren las aguas.	18 Again he sends his word and they melt; the wind is unleashed and the waters flow.
19 Anuncia su palabra a Jacob, | sus decretos y mandatos a Israel;	19 The LORD also proclaims his word to Jacob, decrees and laws to Israel.
20 con ninguna nación obró así, | ni les dio a conocer sus mandatos. ¡Aleluya!	20 God has not done this for other nations; of such laws they know nothing. Hallelujah!
