2 Corintios 9

1 En cuanto a este servicio en favor de los santos, me es superfluo escribiros.	1 Now, concerning the ministry that is done toward the saints, it is not necessary for me to write to you.
2 Conozco, en efecto, vuestra prontitud de ánimo, de la que me glorío ante los macedonios diciéndoles que Acaya está preparada desde el año pasado. Y vuestro celo ha estimulado a muchísimos.	2 For I know your willing mind. I glory about you, concerning this, to the Macedonians. For Achaia has also been prepared, for the past year. And your example has inspired very many others.
3 No obstante, os envío a los hermanos para que nuestro motivo de gloria respecto de vosotros no se desvanezca en este particular y estéis preparados como os decía.	3 Now I have sent the brothers, so that what we glory about concerning you might be not be empty in this matter, in order that (as I have explained) you may be prepared.
4 No sea que vayan los macedonios conmigo y os encuentren sin prepararos, y nuestra gran confianza se torne en confusión nuestra, por no decir vuestra.	4 Otherwise, if the Macedonians arrive with me and find you unprepared, we (not to mention you) would be ashamed in this matter.
5 Por tanto, he creído necesario rogar a los hermanos que vayan antes donde vosotros y preparen de antemano vuestros ya anunciados generosos dones, a fin de que sean preparados como dones generosos y no como una tacañería.	5 Therefore, I considered it necessary to ask the brothers to go to you in advance and to prepare this blessing as promised, and in this way, you may be ready as a blessing, not as an excess.
6 Mirad: el que siembra con mezquindad, cosechará también con mezquindad; el que siembra en abundancia, cosechará también en abundancia.	6 But I say this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. And whoever sows with blessings shall also reap from blessings:
7 Cada cual dé según el dictamen de su corazón, no de mala gana ni forzado, pues: Dios ama al que da con alegría.	7 each one giving, just as he has determined in his heart, neither out of sadness, nor out of obligation. For God loves a cheerful giver.
8 Y poderoso es Dios para colmaros de toda gracia a fin de que teniendo, siempre y en todo, todo lo necesario, tengáis aún sobrante para toda obra buena.	8 And God is able to make every grace abound in you, so that, always having what you need in all things, you may abound unto every good work,
9 Como está escrito: Repartió a manos llenas; dio a los pobres; su justicia permanece eternamente.	9 just as it was written: “He has distributed widely, he has given to the poor; his justice remains from age to age.”
10 Aquel que provee de simiente al sembrador y de pan para su alimento, proveerá y multiplicará vuestra sementera y aumentará los frutos de vuestra justicia.	10 And he who ministers seed to the sower will offer you bread to eat, and will multiply your seed, and will increase the growth of the fruits of your justice.
11 Sois ricos en todo para toda largueza, la cual provocará por nuestro medio acciones de gracias a Dios.	11 So then, having been enriched in all things, you may abound in all simplicity, which works thanksgiving to God through us.
12 Porque el servicio de esta ofrenda no sólo provee a las necesidades de los santos, sino que redunda también en abundantes acciones de gracias a Dios.	12 For the ministration of this office not only supplies whatever the saints need, but also abounds through many thanksgivings in the Lord.
13 Experimentando este servicio, glorifican a Dios por vuestra obediencia en la profesión del Evangelio de Cristo y por la generosidad de vuestra comunión con ellos y con todos.	13 And so, through the evidence of this ministry, you glorify God by the obedience of your confession in the Gospel of Christ, and by the simplicity of your communion with them and with everyone,
14 Y con su oración por vosotros, manifiestan su gran afecto hacia vosotros a causa de la gracia sobreabundante que en vosotros ha derramado Dios.	14 and they offer prayers for you, being solicitous about you, because of the excellent grace of God within you.
15 ¡Gracias sean dadas a Dios por su don inefable!	15 Thanks be to God for his ineffable gift.
