4 نوح سام حام يافث	4 Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth.
5 بنو يافث جومر وماجوج وماداي وياوان وتوبال وماشك وتيراس.	5 Sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, the Medes, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.
6 وبنو جومر أشكناز وريفاث وتوجرمة.	6 Sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah.
7 وبنو ياوان اليشة وترشيشة وكتيم ودودانيم.	7 Sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, the Dananites.
8 بنو حام كوش ومصرايم وفوط وكنعان.	8 Sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan.
9 وبنو كوش سبا وحويلة وسبتا ورعما وسبتكا. وبنو رعما شبا وددان.	9 Sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama, Sabeteca. Sons of Raamah: Sheba, Dedan.
10 وكوش ولد نمرود الذي ابتدأ يكون جبارا في الارض.	10 Cush fathered Nimrod, the first mighty warrior on earth.
11 ومصرايم ولد لوديم وعناميم ولهابيم ونفتوحيم	11 Mizraim fathered the people of Lud, of Anam, of Lehab, of Naphtuh,
12 وفتروسيم وكسلوحيم الذين خرج منهم فلشتيم وكفتوريم.	12 of Pathros, Casluh and Caphtor, from which the Philistines came.
13 وكنعان ولد صيدون بكره وحثّا	13 Canaan fathered Sidon, his first-born, then Heth,
14 واليبوسي والاموري والجرجاشي	14 and the Jebusites, the Amorites, Girgashites,
15 والحوّي والعرقيّ والسيني	15 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,
16 والاروادي والصماريّ والحماثيّ	16 Arvadites, Zemarites, Hamathites.
17 بنو سام عيلام واشور وارفكشاد ولود وارام وعوص وحول وجاثر وماشك.	17 Sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram. Sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech.
18 وارفكشاد ولد شالح وشالح ولد عابر.	18 Arpachshad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.
19 ولعابر ولد ابنان اسم الواحد فالج لان في ايامه قسمت الارض. واسم اخيه يقطان.	19 To Eber were born two sons; the first was cal ed Peleg, because it was in his time that the earth wasdivided into districts, and his brother was cal ed Joktan.
20 ويقطان ولد الموداد وشالف وحضرموت ويارح	20 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
21 وهدورام وأوزال ودقلة	21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
22 وعيبال وأبيمايل وشبا	22 Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,
23 وأوفير وحويلة ويوباب. كل هؤلاء بنو يقطان	23 Ophir, Havilah, Jobab; al these are sons of Joktan.
24 سام ارفكشاد شالح	24 Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 عابر فالج رعو	25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 سروج ناحور تارح	26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 ابرام وهو ابراهيم.	27 Abram, that is, Abraham.
28 ابنا ابراهيم اسحق واسماعيل.	28 Sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
29 هذه مواليدهم. بكر اسماعيل نبايوت وقيدار وأدبئيل ومبسام	29 These are their descendants: The first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
30 ومشماع ودومة ومسّا وحدد وتيما	30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hada, Tema,
31 ويطور ونافيش وقدمة. هؤلاء هم بنو اسماعيل	31 Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 واما بنو قطورة سرية ابراهيم فانها ولدت زمران ويقشان ومدان ومديان ويشباق وشوحا. وابنا يقشان شبا وددان.	32 Sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she gave birth to Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak,and Shuah. Sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
33 وبنو مديان عيفة وعفر وحنوك وابيداع وألدعة. فكل هؤلاء بنو قطورة.	33 Sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, Eldaah. Al these are sons of Keturah.
34 وولد ابراهيم اسحق وابنا اسحق عيسو واسرائيل	34 Abraham fathered Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 بنو عيسو اليفاز ورعوئيل ويعوش ويعلام وقورح.	35 Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam and Korah.
36 بنو اليفاز تيمان واومار وصفي وجعثام وقناز وتمناع وعماليق.	36 Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, Amalek.
37 بنو رعوئيل نحث وزارح وشمّة ومزّة.	37 Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah.
38 وبنو سعير لوطان وشوبال وصبعون وعنى ودبشون وإيصر وديشان.	38 Sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, Dishan.
39 وابنا لوطان حوري وهومام. واخت لوطان تمناع	39 Sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. Sister of Lotan: Timma.
40 بنو شوبال عليان ومناحة وعيبال وشفي واونام. وابنا صبعون أيّة وعنى.	40 Sons of Shobal: Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, Onam. Sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
41 ابن عنى ديشون وبنو ديشون حمران وأشبان ويثران وكران.	41 Son of Anah: Dishon. Sons of Dishon: Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, Cheran.
42 بنو إيصر بلهان وزعوان ويعقان. وابنا ديشان عوص واران	42 Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, Jaakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
43 هؤلاء هم الملوك الذين ملكوا في ارض ادوم قبلما ملك ملك لبني اسرائيل. بالع بن بعور. واسم مدينته دنهابة.	43 These are the kings who ruled in Edom before an Israelite king ruled: Bela son of Beor; his city wascal ed Dinhabah.
44 ومات بالع فملك مكانه يوباب بن زارح من بصرة.	44 Bela died and Jobab son of Zerah, from Bozrah, succeeded.
45 ومات يوباب فملك مكانه حوشام من ارض التيماني.	45 Jobab died and Husham from the territory of the Temanites succeeded.
46 ومات حوشام فملك مكانه هدد بن بدد الذي كسّر مديان في بلاد موآب واسم مدينته عويت	46 Husham died and Hada son of Bedad succeeded; he defeated the Midianites in Moab, and his citywas called Avith.
47 ومات هدد فملك مكانه سملة من مسريقة.	47 Hadad died and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded.
48 ومات سملة فملك مكانه شاول من رحوبوت النهر.	48 Samlah died and Shaul of Rehoboth-ha-Nahar succeeded.
49 ومات شاول فملك مكانه بعل حانان بن عكبور.	49 Shaul died and Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded.
50 ومات بعل حانان فملك مكانه هدد واسم مدينته فاعي واسم امرأته مهيطبئيل بنت مطرد بنت ماء الذهب.	50 Baal-Hanan died and Hadad succeeded. His city was cal ed Pai; his wife's name was Mehetabeldaughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
51 ومات هدد فكانت امراء ادوم امير تمناع امير علوة امير يتيت	51 Hadad died, and then there were chiefs in Edom: Chief Timna, Chief Aliah, Chief Jetheth,
52 امير اهوليبامة امير ايلة امير فينون	52 Chief Oholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,
53 امير قناز امير تيمان امير مبصار	53 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,
54 امير مجديئيل امير عيرام. هؤلاء امراء ادوم	54 Chief Magdiel, Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
