1 Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD!	1 (Álef) Dichoso el que, con vida intachable, | camina en la ley del Señor;
2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,	2 dichoso el que, guardando sus preceptos, | lo busca de todo corazón;
3 who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!	3 el que, sin cometer iniquidad, | anda por sus senderos.
4 Thou hast commanded thy precepts to be kept diligently.	4 Tú promulgas tus mandatos | para que se observen exactamente.
5 O that my ways may be steadfast in keeping thy statutes!	5 Ojalá esté firme mi camino, | para cumplir tus decretos;
6 Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all thy commandments.	6 entonces no sentiré vergüenza | al mirar todos tus mandatos.
7 I will praise thee with an upright heart, when I learn thy righteous ordinances.	7 Te alabaré con sincero corazón | cuando aprenda tus justos mandamientos.
8 I will observe thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly!	8 Quiero guardar tus decretos exactamente, | tú no me abandones.
9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to thy word.	9 (Bet) ¿Cómo podrá un joven andar honestamente? | Cumpliendo tus palabras.
10 With my whole heart I seek thee; let me not wander from thy commandments!	10 Te busco de todo corazón, | no consientas que me desvíe de tus mandamientos.
11 I have laid up thy word in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.	11 En mi corazón escondo tus consignas, | así no pecaré contra ti.
12 Blessed be thou, O LORD; teach me thy statutes!	12 Bendito eres, Señor, | enséñame tus decretos.
13 With my lips I declare all the ordinances of thy mouth.	13 Mis labios van enumerando | todos los mandamientos de tu boca;
14 In the way of thy testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.	14 mi alegría es el camino de tus preceptos, | más que todas las riquezas.
15 I will meditate on thy precepts, and fix my eyes on thy ways.	15 Medito tus mandatos, | y me fijo en tus sendas;
16 I will delight in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.	16 tus decretos son mi delicia, | no olvidaré tus palabras.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live and observe thy word.	17 (Guímel) Haz bien a tu siervo: viviré | y cumpliré tus palabras;
18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.	18 ábreme los ojos, y contemplaré | las maravillas de tu ley;
19 I am a sojourner on earth; hide not thy commandments from me!	19 soy un forastero en la tierra: | no me ocultes tus promesas.
20 My soul is consumed with longing for thy ordinances at all times.	20 Mi alma se consume, deseando | continuamente tus mandamientos;
21 Thou dost rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from thy commandments;	21 reprendes a los soberbios, | malditos los que se apartan de tus mandatos.
22 take away from me their scorn and contempt, for I have kept thy testimonies.	22 Aleja de mí las afrentas y el desprecio, | porque observo tus preceptos;
23 Even though princes sit plotting against me, thy servant will meditate on thy statutes.	23 aunque los nobles se sienten a murmurar de mí, | tu siervo medita tus decretos;
24 Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counselors.	24 tus preceptos son mi delicia, | tus enseñanzas son mis consejeros.
25 My soul cleaves to the dust; revive me according to thy word!	25 (Dálet) Mi alma está pegada al polvo: | reanímame con tus palabras;
26 When I told of my ways, thou didst answer me; teach me thy statutes!	26 te expliqué mi camino, y me escuchaste: | enséñame tus mandamientos;
27 Make me understand the way of thy precepts, and I will meditate on thy wondrous works.	27 instrúyeme en el camino de tus mandatos, | y meditaré tus maravillas.
28 My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to thy word!	28 Mi alma llora de tristeza, | consuélame con tus promesas;
29 Put false ways far from me; and graciously teach me thy law!	29 apártame del camino falso, | y dame la gracia de tu ley;
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness, I set thy ordinances before me.	30 escogí el camino verdadero, | deseé tus mandamientos.
31 I cleave to thy testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame!	31 Me apegué a tus preceptos, | Señor, no me defraudes;
32 I will run in the way of thy commandments when thou enlargest my understanding!	32 correré por el camino de tus mandatos | cuando me ensanches el corazón.
33 Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I will keep it to the end.	33 (He) Muéstrame, Señor, el camino de tus decretos, | y lo seguiré puntualmente;
34 Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law and observe it with my whole heart.	34 enséñame a cumplir tu ley | y a guardarla de todo corazón;

36 Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to gain!	36 Inclina mi corazón a tus preceptos, | y no al interés;
37 Turn my eyes from looking at vanities; and give me life in thy ways.	37 aparta mis ojos de las vanidades, | dame vida con tu palabra;
38 Confirm to thy servant thy promise, which is for those who fear thee.	38 cumple a tu siervo la promesa | para que se mantenga tu temor.
39 Turn away the reproach which I dread; for thy ordinances are good.	39 Aparta de mí la afrenta que temo, | porque tus mandamientos son amables;
40 Behold, I long for thy precepts; in thy righteousness give me life!	40 mira cómo ansío tus mandatos: | dame vida con tu justicia.
41 Let thy steadfast love come to me, O LORD, thy salvation according to thy promise;	41 (Vau) Señor, que me alcance tu favor, | tu salvación según tu promesa:
42 then shall I have an answer for those who taunt me, for I trust in thy word.	42 así responderé a los que me injurian, | que confío en tu palabra;
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in thy ordinances.	43 no quites de mi boca las palabras sinceras, | porque yo espero en tus mandamientos.
44 I will keep thy law continually, for ever and ever;	44 Cumpliré sin cesar tu ley, | por siempre jamás;
45 and I shall walk at liberty, for I have sought thy precepts.	45 andaré por un camino ancho, | buscando tus mandatos;
46 I will also speak of thy testimonies before kings, and shall not be put to shame;	46 comentaré tus preceptos ante los reyes, | y no me avergonzaré.
47 for I find my delight in thy commandments, which I love.	47 Serán mi delicia tus mandatos, | que tanto amo;

49 Remember thy word to thy servant, in which thou hast made me hope.	49 (Zain) Recuerda la palabra que diste a tu siervo, | de la que hiciste mi esperanza;
50 This is my comfort in my affliction that thy promise gives me life.	50 este es mi consuelo en la aflicción: | que tu promesa me da vida;

52 When I think of thy ordinances from of old, I take comfort, O LORD.	52 Recordando tus antiguos mandamientos, | Señor, quedé consolado;
53 Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake thy law.	53 sentí indignación ante los malvados, | que abandonan tu ley;
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.	54 tus decretos eran mi canción | en tierra extranjera.

68 Thou art good and doest good; teach me thy statutes.	68 Tú eres bueno y haces el bien; | instrúyeme en tus decretos;
69 The godless besmear me with lies, but with my whole heart I keep thy precepts;	69 los insolentes urden engaños contra mí, | pero yo custodio tus mandatos de todo corazón;
70 their heart is gross like fat, but I delight in thy law.	70 tienen el corazón espeso como grasa, | pero mi delicia es tu ley.
71 It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes.	71 Me estuvo bien el sufrir, | así aprendí tus decretos;
72 The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.	72 más estimo yo la ley de tu boca | que miles de monedas de oro y plata.

79 Let those who fear thee turn to me, that they may know thy testimonies.	79 Vuelvan a mí los que te temen | y hacen caso de tus preceptos;
80 May my heart be blameless in thy statutes, that I may not be put to shame!	80 sea mi corazón perfecto en tus decretos, | así no quedaré avergonzado.
81 My soul languishes for thy salvation; I hope in thy word.	81 (Kaf) Me consumo ansiando tu salvación, | y espero en tu palabra;
82 My eyes fail with watching for thy promise; I ask, "When wilt thou comfort me?"	82 mis ojos se consumen ansiando tus promesas, | mientras digo: «¿Cuándo me consolarás?».
83 For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I have not forgotten thy statutes.	83 Estoy como un odre puesto al humo, | pero no olvido tus decretos.

85 Godless men have dug pitfalls for me, men who do not conform to thy law.	85 Me han cavado fosas los insolentes, | ignorando tu ley;

124 Deal with thy servant according to thy steadfast love, and teach me thy statutes.	124 Trata con misericordia a tu siervo, | enséñame tus decretos;
125 I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies!	125 yo soy tu siervo: dame inteligencia, | y conoceré tus preceptos;
126 It is time for the LORD to act, for thy law has been broken.	126 es hora de que actúes, Señor: | han quebrantado tu ley.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, above fine gold.	127 Yo amo tus mandatos | más que el oro purísimo;
