Revelation 7

1 Next I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of theworld to keep them from blowing over the land or the sea or any tree.	1 Dipoi vidi quattro Angeli che stavano ai quattro angoli della terra e tenevano i quattro venti della terra, affinchè non tirasse vento, nè sulla terra, nè sul mare, nè sulle piante.
2 Then I saw another angel rising where the sun rises, carrying the seal of the living God; he cal ed in apowerful voice to the four angels whose duty was to devastate land and sea,	2 E vidi un altro Angelo che saliva da oriente ed aveva il sigillo di Dio vivo, e gridò con gran voce ai quattro Angeli a cui era ordinato di danneggiare la terra e il mare,
3 'Wait before you do any damage on land or at sea or to the trees, until we have put the seal on theforeheads of the servants of our God.'	3 e disse: Non danneggiate la terra, o il mare, o le piante, finché non abbiamo segnato nella loro fronte i servi del nostro Dio.
4 And I heard how many had been sealed: a hundred and forty-four thousand, out of al the tribes ofIsrael.	4 E sentii il numero dei segnati: centoquarantaquattromila di tutte le tribù d'Israele;
5 From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand had been sealed; from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand;from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;	5 della tribù di Giuda dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Ruben dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Gad dodici mila segnati;
6 from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofManasseh, twelve thousand;	6 della tribù di Aser dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Nettali dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Manasse dodici mila segnati;
7 from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofIssachar, twelve thousand;	7 della tribù di Simeone dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Levi dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Issacar dodici mila segnati;
8 from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; and from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand had beensealed.	8 della tribù di Zàbulon dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Giuseppe dodici mila segnati; della tribù di Beniamino dodici mila segnati.
9 After that I saw that there was a huge number, impossible for anyone to count, of people from everynation, race, tribe and language; they were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed inwhite robes and holding palms in their hands. They shouted in a loud voice,	9 Dopo queste cose vidi una folla immensa, che nessuno poteva contare, d'ogni nazione e tribù e popolo e linguaggio. Essi stavano davanti al trono e dinanzi all'Agnello, in bianche vesti e con palme in mano,
10 'Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'	10 e gridavano a gran voce e dicevano: La salute al nostro Dio che siede sul trono e all'Agnello!
11 And al the angels who were standing in a circle round the throne, surrounding the elders and the fourliving creatures, prostrated themselves before the throne, and touched the ground with their foreheads,worshipping God	11 E tutti gli Angeli che stavano intorno al trono, ai vegliardi e ai quattro animali si prostraron bocconi dinanzi al trono e adorarono Dio,
12 with these words: Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power andstrength to our God for ever and ever. Amen.	12 dicendo: Amen! Benedizione, gloria, sapienza, ringraziamenti, onore, potenza e forza al nostro Dio, nei secoli dei secoli. Cosi sia.
13 One of the elders then spoke and asked me, 'Who are these people, dressed in white robes, andwhere have they come from?'	13 E mi disse uno dei vegliardi: Questi vestiti di bianco chi sono? e donde vennero?
14 I answered him, 'You can tel me, sir.' Then he said, 'These are the people who have been through thegreat trial; they have washed their robes white again in the blood of the Lamb.	14 Ed io gli risposi: Signor mio, tu lo sai. Ed egli mi disse: Questi sono quelli che vengono dalla gran tribolazione, e han lavate le loro vesti e le han fatte bianche nel sangue dell'Agnello.
15 That is why they are standing in front of God's throne and serving him day and night in his sanctuary;and the One who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.	15 Perciò stanno dinanzi al trono di Dio, e dì e notte lo servono nel suo tempio; e l'assiso sul trono abiterà sopra di essi.
16 They will never hunger or thirst again; sun and scorching wind wil never plague them,	16 Essi non avran più fame nè sete, nè li colpirà più il sole, nè ardore alcuno;
17 because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne wil be their shepherd and wil guide them tosprings of living water; and God wil wipe away al tears from their eyes.'	17 perché l'Agnello che sta in mezzo al trono sarà loro pastore, e li condurrà alle fonti delle acque della vita, e Dio asciugherà ogni lacrima dai loro occhi.
