Revelation 7

NEW JERUSALEM	GREEK BIBLE
1 Next I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of theworld to keep them from blowing over the land or the sea or any tree.	1 Και μετα ταυτα ειδον τεσσαρας αγγελους ισταμενους επι τας τεσσαρας γωνιας της γης, κρατουντας τους τεσσαρας ανεμους της γης, δια να μη πνεη ανεμος επι της γης μητε επι της θαλασσης μητε επι παν δενδρον.
2 Then I saw another angel rising where the sun rises, carrying the seal of the living God; he cal ed in apowerful voice to the four angels whose duty was to devastate land and sea,	2 Και ειδον αλλον αγγελον οτι ανεβη απο ανατολης ηλιου, εχων σφραγιδα του Θεου του ζωντος, και εκραξε μετα φωνης μεγαλης προς τους τεσσαρας αγγελους, εις τους οποιους εδοθη να βλαψωσι την γην και την θαλασσαν,
3 'Wait before you do any damage on land or at sea or to the trees, until we have put the seal on theforeheads of the servants of our God.'	3 λεγων? Μη βλαψητε την γην μητε την θαλασσαν μητε τα δενδρα, εωσου σφραγισωμεν τους δουλους του Θεου ημων επι των μετωπων αυτων.
4 And I heard how many had been sealed: a hundred and forty-four thousand, out of al the tribes ofIsrael.	4 Και ηκουσα τον αριθμον των εσφραγισμενων? εκατον τεσσαρακοντα τεσσαρες χιλιαδες ησαν εσφραγισμενοι εκ πασης φυλης των υιων Ισραηλ?
5 From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand had been sealed; from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand;from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;	5 εκ φυλης Ιουδα δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Ρουβην δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Γαδ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι?
6 from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofManasseh, twelve thousand;	6 εκ φυλης Ασηρ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι?εκ φυλης Νεφθαλειμ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Μανασση δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι.
7 from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofIssachar, twelve thousand;	7 εκ φυλης Συμεων δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Λευι δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Ισσαχαρ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι?
8 from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; and from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand had beensealed.	8 εκ φυλης Ζαβουλων δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Ιωσηφ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι? εκ φυλης Βενιαμιν δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι?
9 After that I saw that there was a huge number, impossible for anyone to count, of people from everynation, race, tribe and language; they were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed inwhite robes and holding palms in their hands. They shouted in a loud voice,	9 Μετα ταυτα ειδον, και ιδου, οχλος πολυς, τον οποιον ουδεις ηδυνατο να αριθμηση, εκ παντος εθνους και φυλων και λαων και γλωσσων, οιτινες ισταντο ενωπιον του θρονου και ενωπιον του Αρνιου, ενδεδυμενοι στολας λευκας, εχοντες φοινικας εν ταις χερσιν αυτων.
10 'Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'	10 και κραζοντες μετα φωνης μεγαλης ελεγον? Η σωτηρια ειναι του Θεου ημων, του καθημενου επι του θρονου, και του Αρνιου.
11 And al the angels who were standing in a circle round the throne, surrounding the elders and the fourliving creatures, prostrated themselves before the throne, and touched the ground with their foreheads,worshipping God	11 Και παντες οι αγγελοι ισταντο κυκλω του θρονου και των πρεσβυτερων και των τεσσαρων ζωων, και επεσαν κατα προσωπον ενωπιον του θρονου και προσεκυνησαν τον Θεον
12 with these words: Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power andstrength to our God for ever and ever. Amen.	12 λεγοντες? Αμην? η ευλογια και δοξα και η σοφια και η ευχαριστια και η τιμη και η δυναμις και η ισχυς ανηκει εις τον Θεον ημων εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων? αμην.
13 One of the elders then spoke and asked me, 'Who are these people, dressed in white robes, andwhere have they come from?'	13 Και απεκριθη εις εκ των πρεσβυτερων, λεγων προς εμε? Ουτοι οι ενδεδυμενοι τας στολας τας λευκας τινες ειναι και ποθεν ηλθον;
14 I answered him, 'You can tel me, sir.' Then he said, 'These are the people who have been through thegreat trial; they have washed their robes white again in the blood of the Lamb.	14 Και ειπα προς αυτον? Κυριε, συ εξευρεις. Και ειπε προς εμε? Ουτοι ειναι οι ερχομενοι εκ της θλιψεως της μεγαλης, και επλυναν τας στολας αυτων και ελευκαναν αυτας εν τω αιματι του Αρνιου.
15 That is why they are standing in front of God's throne and serving him day and night in his sanctuary;and the One who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.	15 Δια τουτο ειναι ενωπιον του θρονου του Θεου και λατρευουσιν αυτον ημεραν και νυκτα εν τω ναω αυτου, και ο καθημενος επι του θρονου θελει κατασκηνωσει επ' αυτους.
16 They will never hunger or thirst again; sun and scorching wind wil never plague them,	16 Δεν θελουσι πεινασει πλεον ουδε θελουσι διψησει πλεον, ουδε θελει πεσει επ' αυτους ο ηλιος ουδε κανεν καυμα,
17 because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne wil be their shepherd and wil guide them tosprings of living water; and God wil wipe away al tears from their eyes.'	17 διοτι το Αρνιον το αναμεσον του θρονου θελει ποιμανει αυτους και οδηγησει αυτους εις ζωσας πηγας υδατων, και θελει εξαλειψει ο Θεος παν δακρυον απο των οφθαλμων αυτων.
