Revelation 7

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Next I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of theworld to keep them from blowing over the land or the sea or any tree.	1 Ezután négy angyalt láttam, akik a föld négy sarkán álltak, és akik feltartóztatták a földnek négy szelét, hogy ne fújjanak sem a földön, sem a tengeren, és egyetlen fára sem.
2 Then I saw another angel rising where the sun rises, carrying the seal of the living God; he cal ed in apowerful voice to the four angels whose duty was to devastate land and sea,	2 Akkor láttam, hogy napkelet felől egy másik angyal száll fel, akinél az élő Isten pecsétje volt, és hangosan azt kiáltotta a négy angyalnak, akiknek megadatott, hogy ártsanak a földnek és a tengernek:
3 'Wait before you do any damage on land or at sea or to the trees, until we have put the seal on theforeheads of the servants of our God.'	3 »Ne ártsatok a földnek és a tengernek, sem a fáknak, amíg meg nem jelöljük homlokukon Istenünk szolgáit!«
4 And I heard how many had been sealed: a hundred and forty-four thousand, out of al the tribes ofIsrael.	4 Hallottam a megjelöltek számát: száznegyvennégyezer megjelölt, Izrael fiainak valamennyi törzséből.
5 From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand had been sealed; from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand;from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;	5 Júda törzséből tizenkétezer megjelölt; Rúben törzséből tizenkétezer; Gád törzséből tizenkétezer;
6 from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofManasseh, twelve thousand;	6 Áser törzséből tizenkétezer; Neftali törzséből tizenkétezer; Manassze törzséből tizenkétezer;
7 from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofIssachar, twelve thousand;	7 Simeon törzséből tizenkétezer; Lévi törzséből tizenkétezer; Isszakár törzséből tizenkétezer;
8 from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; and from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand had beensealed.	8 Zebulon törzséből tizenkétezer; József törzséből tizenkétezer; Benjamin törzséből tizenkétezer.
9 After that I saw that there was a huge number, impossible for anyone to count, of people from everynation, race, tribe and language; they were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed inwhite robes and holding palms in their hands. They shouted in a loud voice,	9 Ezután nagy sereget láttam, amelyet senki sem volt képes megszámlálni, minden nemzetből, néptörzsből, népből és nyelvből a trón előtt és a Bárány előtt állni, hosszú fehér ruhába öltözve, kezükben pálmaággal,
10 'Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'	10 és hangosan azt kiáltották: »Üdv a mi Istenünknek, aki a trónon ül , és a Báránynak!«
11 And al the angels who were standing in a circle round the throne, surrounding the elders and the fourliving creatures, prostrated themselves before the throne, and touched the ground with their foreheads,worshipping God	11 Az angyalok mind ott álltak a trón, a vének és a négy élőlény körül, és a trón előtt arcra borulva imádták Istent:
12 with these words: Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power andstrength to our God for ever and ever. Amen.	12 »Ámen! Áldás és dicsőség, bölcsesség, hálaadás, tisztelet, hatalom és erősség a mi Istenünknek, örökkön örökké! Ámen.«
13 One of the elders then spoke and asked me, 'Who are these people, dressed in white robes, andwhere have they come from?'	13 Ekkor megszólalt az egyik vén, és azt kérdezte tőlem: »Kik ezek, akik hosszú fehér ruhába vannak öltözve, és honnan jöttek?«
14 I answered him, 'You can tel me, sir.' Then he said, 'These are the people who have been through thegreat trial; they have washed their robes white again in the blood of the Lamb.	14 Azt mondtam neki: »Uram, te tudod!« Erre ő azt mondta nekem: »Ezek azok, akik a nagy szorongatásból jöttek, és fehérre mosták ruhájukat a Bárány vérében .
15 That is why they are standing in front of God's throne and serving him day and night in his sanctuary;and the One who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.	15 Ezért vannak Isten trónja előtt, és éjjel-nappal szolgálnak neki templomában; és aki a trónon ül , fölöttük lakik.
16 They will never hunger or thirst again; sun and scorching wind wil never plague them,	16 Nem éheznek többé és nem szomjaznak, nem éri őket többé a nap, sem bármiféle forróság ,
17 because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne wil be their shepherd and wil guide them tosprings of living water; and God wil wipe away al tears from their eyes.'	17 mert a királyi széken trónoló Bárány lesz a pásztoruk, az élet vizének forrásához vezeti őket , és Isten letöröl szemükről minden könnyet« .
