Revelation 7

1 Next I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of theworld to keep them from blowing over the land or the sea or any tree.	1 ואחרי כן ראיתי ארבעה מלאכים עמדים בארבע כנפות הארץ ויעצרו את ארבע רוחות הארץ למען לא תשב רוח לא בארץ ולא בים ולא בכל עץ
2 Then I saw another angel rising where the sun rises, carrying the seal of the living God; he cal ed in apowerful voice to the four angels whose duty was to devastate land and sea,	2 וארא מלאך אחר עלה ממרח שמש ובידו חתמת אלהים חיים ויקרא בקול גדול אל ארבעה המלאכים אשר נתן להם לחבל הארץ והים לאמר
3 'Wait before you do any damage on land or at sea or to the trees, until we have put the seal on theforeheads of the servants of our God.'	3 אל תחבלו את הארץ ואת הים ואת העץ עד אם חתמנו את עבדי אלהינו על מצחותם
4 And I heard how many had been sealed: a hundred and forty-four thousand, out of al the tribes ofIsrael.	4 ואשמע מספר החתומים מאה אלף וארבעים וארבעה אלף והם חתומים מכל שבטי בני ישראל
5 From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand had been sealed; from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand;from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;	5 לשבט יהודה חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט ראובן חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט גד חתומים שנים עשר אלף
6 from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofManasseh, twelve thousand;	6 לשבט אשר חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט נפתלי חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט מנשה חתומים שנים עשר אלף
7 from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofIssachar, twelve thousand;	7 לשבט שמעון חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט לוי חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט יששכר חתומים שנים עשר אלף
8 from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; and from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand had beensealed.	8 לשבט זבלון חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט יוסף חתומים שנים עשר אלף לשבט בנימן חתומים שנים עשר אלף
9 After that I saw that there was a huge number, impossible for anyone to count, of people from everynation, race, tribe and language; they were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed inwhite robes and holding palms in their hands. They shouted in a loud voice,	9 אחרי כן ראיתי והנה המון רב אשר לא יכל איש למנותו מכל הגוים והמשפחות והעמים והלשנות ויעמדו לפני הכסא ולפני השה מלבשים שמלות לבנות וכפות תמרים בידיהם
10 'Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'	10 ויקראו בקול גדול לאמר הישועה לאלהינו הישב על הכסא ולשה
11 And al the angels who were standing in a circle round the throne, surrounding the elders and the fourliving creatures, prostrated themselves before the throne, and touched the ground with their foreheads,worshipping God	11 וכל המלאכים עמדו סביב לכסא וסביב לזקנים ולארבע החיות ויפלו על פניהם לפני הכסא וישתחוו לאלהים
12 with these words: Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power andstrength to our God for ever and ever. Amen.	12 ויאמרו אמן הברכה והכבוד והחכמה והתודה וההדר והכח והעז לאלהינו לעולמי עולמים אמן
13 One of the elders then spoke and asked me, 'Who are these people, dressed in white robes, andwhere have they come from?'	13 ויען אחד מן הזקנים ויאמר אלי אלה המלבשים בגדי לבן מי המה ומאין באו
14 I answered him, 'You can tel me, sir.' Then he said, 'These are the people who have been through thegreat trial; they have washed their robes white again in the blood of the Lamb.	14 ואמר אליו אדני אתה ידעת ויאמר אלי אלה הם הבאים מן הצרה הגדולה ויכבסו את שמלתם וילבינום בדם השה
15 That is why they are standing in front of God's throne and serving him day and night in his sanctuary;and the One who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.	15 לכן הנם לפני כסא האלהים ומשרתים אותו בהיכלו יומם ולילה והישב על הכסא יתן משכנו עליהם
16 They will never hunger or thirst again; sun and scorching wind wil never plague them,	16 לא ירעבו עוד ולא יצמאו ולא יכם שמש ושרב
17 because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne wil be their shepherd and wil guide them tosprings of living water; and God wil wipe away al tears from their eyes.'	17 כי השה אשר בתוך הכסא הוא ירעם ועל מבועי מים חיים ינהלם ומחה אליהם כל דמעה מעיניהם
