Revelation 7

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Next I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of theworld to keep them from blowing over the land or the sea or any tree.	1 Después de esto, vi a cuatro Angeles que estaban de pie en los cuatro puntos cardinales y sujetaban a los cuatro vientos para que no soplaran sobre la tierra, ni sobre el mar, ni sobre los árboles.
2 Then I saw another angel rising where the sun rises, carrying the seal of the living God; he cal ed in apowerful voice to the four angels whose duty was to devastate land and sea,	2 Luego vi a otro Angel que subía del Oriente, llevando el sello del Dios vivo. Y comenzó a gritar con voz potente a los cuatro Angeles que habían recibido el poder de dañar a la tierra y al mar:
3 'Wait before you do any damage on land or at sea or to the trees, until we have put the seal on theforeheads of the servants of our God.'	3 «No dañen a la tierra, ni al mar, ni a los árboles, hasta que marquemos con el sello la frente de los servidores de nuestro Dios».
4 And I heard how many had been sealed: a hundred and forty-four thousand, out of al the tribes ofIsrael.	4 Oí entonces el número de los que habían sido marcados: eran 144.000 pertenecientes a todas las tribus de Israel.
5 From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand had been sealed; from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand;from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;	5 Doce mil de la tribu de Judá, doce mil de la tribu de Rubén, doce mil de la tribu de Gad,
6 from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofManasseh, twelve thousand;	6 doce mil de la tribu de Aser, doce mil de la tribu de Neftalí, doce mil de la tribu de Manasés,
7 from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; from the tribe ofIssachar, twelve thousand;	7 doce mil de la tribu de Simeón, doce mil de la tribu de Leví, doce mil de la tribu de Isacar,
8 from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; and from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand had beensealed.	8 doce mil de la tribu de Zabulón, doce mil de la tribu de José, doce mil de la tribu de Benjamín.
9 After that I saw that there was a huge number, impossible for anyone to count, of people from everynation, race, tribe and language; they were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed inwhite robes and holding palms in their hands. They shouted in a loud voice,	9 Después de esto, vi una enorme muchedumbre, imposible de contar, formada por gente de todas las naciones, familias, pueblos y lenguas. Estaban de pie ante el trono y delante del Cordero, vestidos con túnicas blancas; llevaban palmas en la mano y exclamaban con voz potente:
10 'Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'	10 «¡La salvación viene de nuestro Dios que está sentado en el trono, y del Cordero!».
11 And al the angels who were standing in a circle round the throne, surrounding the elders and the fourliving creatures, prostrated themselves before the throne, and touched the ground with their foreheads,worshipping God	11 Y todos los Angeles que estaban alrededor del trono, de los Ancianos y de los cuatro Seres Vivientes, se postraron con el rostro en tierra delante del trono, y adoraron a Dios,
12 with these words: Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power andstrength to our God for ever and ever. Amen.	12 diciendo: «¡Amén! ¡Alabanza, gloria y sabiduría, acción de gracias, honor, poder y fuerza a nuestro Dios para siempre! ¡Amén!
13 One of the elders then spoke and asked me, 'Who are these people, dressed in white robes, andwhere have they come from?'	13 Y uno de los Ancianos me preguntó: «¿Quiénes son y de dónde vienen los que están revestidos de túnicas blancas?».
14 I answered him, 'You can tel me, sir.' Then he said, 'These are the people who have been through thegreat trial; they have washed their robes white again in the blood of the Lamb.	14 Yo le respondí: «Tú lo sabes, señor». Y él me dijo: «Estos son los que vienen de la gran tribulación; ellos han lavado sus vestiduras y las han blanqueado en la sangre del Cordero.
15 That is why they are standing in front of God's throne and serving him day and night in his sanctuary;and the One who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.	15 Por eso están delante del trono de Dios y le rinden culto día y noche en su Templo. El que está sentado en el trono habitará con ellos:
16 They will never hunger or thirst again; sun and scorching wind wil never plague them,	16 nunca más padecerán hambre ni sed, ni serán agobiados por el sol o el calor.
17 because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne wil be their shepherd and wil guide them tosprings of living water; and God wil wipe away al tears from their eyes.'	17 Porque el Cordero que está en medio del trono será su Pastor y los conducirá hacia los manantiales de agua viva. Y Dios secará toda lágrima de sus ojos».
