Revelation 16

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary cal ing to the seven angels, 'Go, and empty the sevenbowls of God's anger over the earth.'	1 ואשמע קול גדול מן ההיכל האמר אל שבעת המלאכים לכו ושפכו את קערת חמת האלהים ארצה
2 The first angel went and emptied his bowl over the earth; at once, on al the people who had beenbranded with the mark of the beast and had worshipped its statue, there came disgusting and virulent sores.	2 וילך הראשון וישפך את קערתו על הארץ ויהי שהין רע ומכאיב באנשים אשר עליהם תו החיה ובמשתחוים לצלמה
3 The second angel emptied his bowl over the sea, and it turned to blood, like the blood of a corpse, andevery living creature in the sea died.	3 וישפך השני את קערתו על הים ויהי לדם כדם חלל ותמת כל נפש חיה אשר בים
4 The third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and springs of water and they turned into blood.	4 וישפך השלישי את קערתו בנהרות ובמעינות המים ויהיו לדם
5 Then I heard the angel of water say, 'You are the Upright One, He who is, He who was, the Holy One,for giving this verdict:	5 ואשמע את מלאך המים אמר צדיק אתה ההוה והיה והקדוש כי כן שפטת
6 they spilt the blood of the saints and the prophets, and blood is what you have given them to drink; it iswhat they deserve.'	6 כי דם קדשים ונביאים שפכו ודם השקיתם כי גמול ידם הוא
7 And I heard the altar itself say, 'Truly, Lord God Almighty, the punishments you give are true and just.'	7 ואשמע את המזבח אמר אמנם כן יהוה אלהים צבאות אמת וצדק משפטיך
8 The fourth angel emptied his bowl over the sun and it was made to scorch people with its flames;	8 וישפך המלאך הרביעי את קערתו על השמש וינתן לו לצרב את בני אדם באש
9 but though people were scorched by the fierce heat of it, they cursed the name of God who had thepower to cause such plagues, and they would not repent and glorify him.	9 ויצרבו בני אדם בחם גדול ויגדפו את שם אלהים אשר לו הממשלה על המכות האלה ולא שבו לתת לו הכבוד
10 The fifth angel emptied his bowl over the throne of the beast and its whole empire was plunged intodarkness. People were biting their tongues for pain,	10 וישפך החמישי את קערתו על כסא החיה ותחשך מלכותה וינשכו מכאב לב את לשונם
11 but instead of repenting for what they had done, they cursed the God of heaven because of theirpains and sores.	11 ויגדפו את אלהי השמים ממכאבם ושחינם ולא שבו ממעשיהם
12 The sixth angel emptied his bowl over the great river Euphrates; al the water dried up so that a waywas made for the kings of the East to come in.	12 וישפך הששי את קערתו על הנהר הגדול נהר פרת ויחרבו מימיו למען תישר מסלה למלכים אשר ממזרח שמש
13 Then from the jaws of dragon and beast and false prophet I saw three foul spirits come; they lookedlike frogs	13 וארא והנה מפי התנין ומפי החיה ומפי נביא השקר יצאות שלש רוחות טמאות דומת לצפרדעים
14 and in fact were demon spirits, able to work miracles, going out to al the kings of the world to callthem together for the war of the Great Day of God the Almighty.-	14 כי רוחות השדים הנה עשות אותות ויצאות אל מלכי ארץ ותבל כלה לאספם למלחמה היום ההוא הגדול יום אלהי הצבאות
15 Look, I shall come like a thief. Blessed is anyone who has kept watch, and has kept his clothes on,so that he does not go out naked and expose his shame.-	15 הנני בא כגנב אשרי השקד ושמר את בגדיו למען לא ילך ערם וראו את ערותו
16 They cal ed the kings together at the place cal ed, in Hebrew, Armageddon.	16 ויאסף אתם אל המקום הנקרא בעברית הר מגדון
17 The seventh angel emptied his bowl into the air, and a great voice boomed out from the sanctuary,'The end has come.'	17 וישפך המלאך השביעי את קערתו על האור ויצא קול גדול מהיכל השמים מן הכסא ויאמר היה נהיתה
18 Then there were flashes of lightning and peals of thunder and a violent earthquake, unparalleledsince humanity first came into existence.	18 ויהיו קלות ורעמים וברקים ויהי רעש גדול אשר לא היה כמהו למן היות אדם על הארץ רעש כזה גדול עד מאד
19 The Great City was split into three parts and the cities of the world col apsed; Babylon the Great wasnot forgotten: God made her drink the ful winecup of his retribution.	19 והעיר הגדולה נחלקה לשלשה חלקים ותפלנה ערי הגוים ותזכר בבל הגדולה לפני אלהים לתת לה כוס יין חמת אפו
20 Every island vanished and the mountains disappeared;	20 וינס כל אי וההרים לא נמצאו
21 and hail, with great hailstones weighing a talent each, fel from the sky on the people. They cursedGod for sending a plague of hail; it was the most terrible plague.	21 וברד כבד כככר ירד מן השמים על בני האדם ויגדפו בני האדם את האלהים על אדות מכת הברד כי כבדה מכתו מאד
