1 Peter 4

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 As Christ has undergone bodily suffering, you too should arm yourselves with the same conviction, thatanyone who has undergone bodily suffering has broken with sin,	1 فاذ قد تألم المسيح لاجلنا بالجسد تسلحوا انتم ايضا بهذه النية. فان من تألم في الجسد كفّ عن الخطية
2 because for the rest of life on earth that person is ruled not by human passions but only by the wil ofGod.	2 لكي لا يعيش ايضا الزمان الباقي في الجسد لشهوات الناس بل لارادة الله.
3 You spent quite long enough in the past living the sort of life that gentiles choose to live, behaving in adebauched way, giving way to your passions, drinking to excess, having wild parties and drunken orgies andsacrilegiously worshipping false gods.	3 لان زمان الحياة الذي مضى يكفينا لنكون قد عملنا ارادة الامم سالكين في الدعارة والشهوات وادمان الخمر والبطر والمنادمات وعبادة الاوثان المحرمة
4 So people are taken aback that you no longer hurry off with them to join this flood which is rushingdown to ruin, and then abuse you for it.	4 الامر الذي فيه يستغربون انكم لستم تركضون معهم الى فيض هذه الخلاعة عينها مجدفين
5 They wil have to answer for it before the judge who is to judge the living and the dead.	5 الذين سوف يعطون حسابا للذي هو على استعداد ان يدين الاحياء والاموات.
6 And this was why the gospel was brought to the dead as wel , so that, though in their bodies they hadundergone the judgement that faces al humanity, in their spirit they might enjoy the life of God.	6 فانه لاجل هذا بشر الموتى ايضا لكي يدانوا حسب الناس بالجسد ولكن ليحيوا حسب الله بالروح
7 The end of all things is near, so keep your minds calm and sober for prayer.	7 وانما نهاية كل شيء قد اقتربت. فتعقلوا واصحوا للصلوات.
8 Above al preserve an intense love for each other, since love covers over many a sin.	8 ولكن قبل كل شيء لتكن محبتكم بعضكم لبعض شديدة لان المحبة تستر كثرة من الخطايا.
9 Welcome each other into your houses without grumbling.	9 كونوا مضيفين بعضكم بعضا بلا دمدمة.
10 Each one of you has received a special grace, so, like good stewards responsible for all these variedgraces of God, put it at the service of others.	10 ليكن كل واحد بحسب ما اخذ موهبة يخدم بها بعضكم بعضا كوكلاء صالحين على نعمة الله المتنوعة.
11 If anyone is a speaker, let it be as the words of God, if anyone serves, let it be as in strength grantedby God; so that in everything God may receive the glory, through Jesus Christ, since to him alone belong alglory and power for ever and ever. Amen.	11 ان كان يتكلم احد فكاقوال الله. وان كان يخدم احد فكانه من قوة يمنحها الله لكي يتمجد الله في كل شيء بيسوع المسيح الذي له المجد والسلطان الى ابد الآبدين. آمين
12 My dear friends, do not be taken aback at the testing by fire which is taking place among you, asthough something strange were happening to you;	12 ايها الاحباء لا تستغربوا البلوى المحرقة التي بينكم حادثة لاجل امتحانكم كانه اصابكم امر غريب
13 but in so far as you share in the sufferings of Christ, be glad, so that you may enjoy a much greatergladness when his glory is revealed.	13 بل كما اشتركتم في آلام المسيح افرحوا لكي تفرحوا في استعلان مجده ايضا مبتهجين
14 If you are insulted for bearing Christ's name, blessed are you, for on you rests the Spirit of God, theSpirit of glory.	14 ان عيّرتم باسم المسيح فطوبى لكم لان روح المجد والله يحل عليكم. اما من جهتهم فيجدّف عليه واما من جهتكم فيمجد.
15 None of you should ever deserve to suffer for being a murderer, a thief, a criminal or an informer;	15 فلا يتألم احدكم كقاتل او سارق او فاعل شر او متداخل في امور غيره.
16 but if any one of you should suffer for being a Christian, then there must be no shame but thanksgiving to God for bearing this name.	16 ولكن ان كان كمسيحي فلا يخجل بل يمجد الله من هذا القبيل.
17 The time has come for the judgement to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, whatwil be the end for those who refuse to believe God's gospel?	17 لانه الوقت لابتداء القضاء من بيت الله. فان كان اولا منا فما هي نهاية الذين لا يطيعون انجيل الله.
18 If it is hard for the upright to be saved, what wil happen to the wicked and to sinners?	18 وان كان البار بالجهد يخلص فالفاجر والخاطئ اين يظهران.
19 So even those whom God allows to suffer should commit themselves to a Creator who is trustworthy,and go on doing good.	19 فاذا الذين يتألمون بحسب مشيئة الله فليستودعوا انفسهم كما لخالق امين في عمل الخير
