Mark 10

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 After leaving there, he came into the territory of Judaea and Transjordan. And again crowds gatheredround him, and again he taught them, as his custom was.	1 Ezután elindult onnan, és a Jordán túlsó partján Júdea határába ment. Újból tömeg gyülekezett hozzá, ő pedig szokása szerint ismét tanította őket.
2 Some Pharisees approached him and asked, 'Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?' They wereputting him to the test.	2 A farizeusok odajárultak hozzá, s hogy próbára tegyék, megkérdezték tőle: »Szabad-e a férfinak elbocsátani a feleségét?«
3 He answered them, 'What did Moses command you?'	3 Ő így felelt nekik: »Mit parancsolt nektek Mózes?«
4 They replied, 'Moses al owed us to draw up a writ of dismissal in cases of divorce.'	4 Erre azt mondták: »Mózes megengedte, hogy válólevelet írjunk és elbocsássuk« .
5 Then Jesus said to them, 'It was because you were so hard hearted that he wrote this commandmentfor you.	5 Erre Jézus azt válaszolta nekik: »A ti keményszívűségetek miatt írta nektek e parancsot.
6 But from the beginning of creation he made them male and female.	6 A teremtés kezdetén azonban Isten férfivá és nővé alkotta őket .
7 This is why a man leaves his father and mother,	7 Ezért az ember elhagyja apját és anyját, a feleségéhez ragaszkodik,
8 and the two become one flesh. They are no longer two, therefore, but one flesh.	8 és a kettő egy testté lesz . Így már nem ketten vannak, hanem egy test.
9 So then, what God has united, human beings must not divide.'	9 Amit tehát Isten egybekötött, azt ember szét ne válassza!«
10 Back in the house the disciples questioned him again about this,	10 Odahaza a tanítványai ismét megkérdezték őt erről a dologról.
11 and he said to them, 'Whoever divorces his wife and marries another is guilty of adultery against her.	11 Azt felelte nekik: »Aki elbocsátja a feleségét és másikat vesz, házasságtöréssel vét ellene.
12 And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another she is guilty of adultery too.'	12 És ha az asszony elhagyja férjét és máshoz megy, házasságot tör.«
13 People were bringing little children to him, for him to touch them. The disciples scolded them,	13 Ekkor kisgyermekeket vittek hozzá, hogy érintse meg őket; de a tanítványok elkergették azokat, akik hozták őket.
14 but when Jesus saw this he was indignant and said to them, 'Let the little children come to me; do notstop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.	14 Ezt látva Jézus haragra gerjedt, és azt mondta nekik: »Engedjétek hozzám jönni a kisgyerekeket, és ne akadályozzátok őket, mert ilyeneké az Isten országa.
15 In truth I tel you, anyone who does not welcome the kingdom of God like a little child wil never enterit.'	15 Bizony, mondom nektek: aki nem fogadja Isten országát úgy, mint a kisgyermek, nem megy be oda.«
16 Then he embraced them, laid his hands on them and gave them his blessing.	16 Azután karjaiba vette őket, rájuk tette a kezét, és megáldotta őket.
17 He was setting out on a journey when a man ran up, knelt before him and put this question to him,'Good master, what must I do to inherit eternal life?'	17 Amikor kiment az útra, odafutott hozzá valaki, térdreesett előtte és megkérdezte: »Jó Mester! Mit tegyek, hogy elnyerjem az örök életet?«
18 Jesus said to him, 'Why do you cal me good? No one is good but God alone.	18 Jézus erre azt mondta neki: »Miért mondasz engem jónak? Senki sem jó, csak egyedül az Isten.
19 You know the commandments: You shal not kil ; You shal not commit adultery; You shal not steal;You shal not give false witness; You shal not defraud; Honour your father and mother.'	19 Ismered a parancsokat: Ne ölj, ne törj házasságot, ne lopj, hamisan ne tanúskodj, ne csalj, tiszteld apádat és anyádat!«
20 And he said to him, 'Master, I have kept al these since my earliest days.'	20 Az illető azt felelte neki: »Mester! Ezeket mind megtartottam ifjúságom óta.«
21 Jesus looked steadily at him and he was fil ed with love for him, and he said, 'You need to do onething more. Go and sell what you own and give the money to the poor, and you wil have treasure in heaven;then come, fol ow me.'	21 Akkor Jézus rátekintett, megkedvelte őt, és azt mondta neki: »Egynek vagy még híjával: menj, add el, amid van, s add a szegényeknek, akkor kincsed lesz a mennyben. Azután jöjj, kövess engem!«
22 But his face fel at these words and he went away sad, for he was a man of great wealth.	22 Erre a szóra az elkomorult és szomorúan távozott, mert nagy vagyona volt.
23 Jesus looked round and said to his disciples, 'How hard it is for those who have riches to enter thekingdom of God!'	23 Jézus pedig körültekintett és azt mondta tanítványainak: »Milyen nehezen jutnak Isten országába azok, akiknek vagyonuk van!«
24 The disciples were astounded by these words, but Jesus insisted, 'My children,' he said to them, 'howhard it is to enter the kingdom of God!	24 A tanítványok csodálkoztak szavain. Jézus pedig újra megszólalt, és ezt mondta nekik: »Gyermekeim! Bizony, nagyon nehéz az Isten országába bejutni!
25 It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for someone rich to enter thekingdom of God.'	25 Könnyebb a tevének átmenni a tű fokán, mint a gazdagnak bemenni az Isten országába.«
26 They were more astonished than ever, saying to one another, 'In that case, who can be saved?'	26 Azok erre még jobban csodálkoztak, és egymást kérdezgették: »Akkor hát ki üdvözülhet?«
27 Jesus gazed at them and said, 'By human resources it is impossible, but not for God: because forGod everything is possible.'	27 Jézus azonban rájuk tekintett és így szólt: »Embereknek lehetetlen ez, de Istennek nem; mert Istennek minden lehetséges« .
28 Peter took this up. 'Look,' he said to him, 'we have left everything and fol owed you.'	28 Ekkor megszólalt Péter: »Íme, mi elhagytunk mindent és követtünk téged!«
29 Jesus said, 'In truth I tell you, there is no one who has left house, brothers, sisters, mother, father,children or land for my sake and for the sake of the gospel	29 Jézus azt felelte: »Bizony, mondom nektek: mindenki, aki elhagyta házát vagy testvéreit, nővéreit vagy apját, anyját, a gyermekeit, vagy földjeit értem és az evangéliumért,
30 who wil not receive a hundred times as much, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and land-- and persecutions too -- now in this present time and, in the world to come, eternal life.	30 százannyit kap már most, ebben a világban: házakat, testvéreket, nővéreket, anyákat, gyermekeket és földeket, bár üldözések között; az eljövendő világban pedig az örök életet.
31 Many who are first wil be last, and the last, first.'	31 Sokan lesznek elsőkből utolsók, és utolsókból elsők.«
32 They were on the road, going up to Jerusalem; Jesus was walking on ahead of them; they were in adaze, and those who fol owed were apprehensive. Once more taking the Twelve aside he began to tel themwhat was going to happen to him,	32 Mikor úton voltak, hogy fölmenjenek Jeruzsálembe, Jézus előttük haladt. Az emberek megcsodálták, tanítványai pedig aggódva követték. Ekkor újra maga mellé vette a tizenkettőt, és elkezdett nekik beszélni mindarról, ami rá vár:
33 'Now we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man is about to be handed over to the chiefpriests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death and wil hand him over to the gentiles,	33 »Íme, fölmegyünk Jeruzsálembe, és az Emberfiát át fogják adni a főpapoknak és az írástudóknak. Halálra ítélik őt, és átadják a pogányoknak.
34 who wil mock him and spit at him and scourge him and put him to death; and after three days he wilrise again.'	34 Kicsúfolják, leköpdösik, megostorozzák és megölik; de harmadnapra föltámad.«
35 James and John, the sons of Zebedee, approached him. 'Master,' they said to him, 'We want you todo us a favour.'	35 Ekkor eléje járultak Zebedeus fiai, Jakab és János, és így szóltak: »Mester! Azt szeretnénk, hogy amit kérünk, tedd meg nekünk.«
36 He said to them, 'What is it you want me to do for you?'	36 Ő megkérdezte tőlük: »Mit akartok, hogy megtegyek nektek?«
37 They said to him, 'Al ow us to sit one at your right hand and the other at your left in your glory.'	37 Azt felelték: »Tedd meg nekünk, hogy egyikünk a jobbodon, másikunk pedig a bal oldaladon ülhessen a te dicsőségedben.«
38 But Jesus said to them, 'You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I shaldrink, or be baptised with the baptism with which I shal be baptised?'	38 Jézus erre azt mondta nekik: »Nem tudjátok, mit kértek. Tudtok-e inni a kehelyből, amelyből én iszom? Vagy meg tudtok-e keresztelkedni a keresztséggel, amellyel én megkeresztelkedem?«
39 They replied, 'We can.' Jesus said to them, 'The cup that I shal drink you shal drink, and with thebaptism with which I shal be baptised you shal be baptised,	39 Ők azt felelték neki: »Meg tudunk.« Ekkor Jézus azt mondta nekik: »A kehelyből, amelyből én iszom, inni fogtok ugyan, és a keresztséggel, amellyel én megkeresztelkedem, ti is meg fogtok keresztelkedni.
40 but as for seats at my right hand or my left, these are not mine to grant; they belong to those to whomthey have been al otted.'	40 De azt megadni, hogy a jobbomon vagy a balomon ki üljön, az nem az én dolgom. Az azoké lesz, akiknek készítették.«
41 When the other ten heard this they began to feel indignant with James and John,	41 Amikor a tíz meghallotta ezt, haragudni kezdtek Jakabra és Jánosra.
42 so Jesus cal ed them to him and said to them, 'You know that among the gentiles those they cal theirrulers lord it over them, and their great men make their authority felt.	42 Jézus azonban magához hívta őket, és azt mondta nekik: »Tudjátok, hogy akiket a nemzetek fejedelmeknek tekintenek, azok uralkodnak rajtuk, és a nagyok hatalmaskodnak felettük.
43 Among you this is not to happen. No; anyone who wants to become great among you must be yourservant,	43 Köztetek azonban ez nem így van, hanem aki nagy akar lenni, az legyen a szolgátok;
44 and anyone who wants to be first among you must be slave to all.	44 aki pedig első akar lenni köztetek, az a szolgája lesz mindenkinek.
45 For the Son of man himself came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom formany.'	45 Hiszen az Emberfia sem azért jött, hogy neki szolgáljanak, hanem hogy ő szolgáljon, és életét adja váltságul sokakért.«
46 They reached Jericho; and as he left Jericho with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus -- thatis, the son of Timaeus -- a blind beggar, was sitting at the side of the road.	46 Ezután megérkeztek Jerikóba. Amikor kiment Jerikóból tanítványaival és a nagy sokasággal, a vak Bartímeus, Tímeus fia az útfélen ült és kéregetett.
47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout and cry out, 'Son of David, Jesus,have pity on me.'	47 Amint meghallotta, hogy a Názáreti Jézus az, elkezdett kiáltozni: »Jézus, Dávid Fia! Könyörülj rajtam!«
48 And many of them scolded him and told him to keep quiet, but he only shouted al the louder, 'Son ofDavid, have pity on me.'	48 Sokan leintették őt, hogy hallgasson. Ő azonban annál jobban kiáltozott: »Dávid Fia! Könyörülj rajtam!«
49 Jesus stopped and said, 'Cal him here.' So they cal ed the blind man over. 'Courage,' they said, 'getup; he is calling you.'	49 Jézus megállt és megparancsolta, hogy hívják őt eléje. Erre odahívták a vakot, ezekkel a szavakkal: »Bízzál! Kelj föl, hív téged!«
50 So throwing off his cloak, he jumped up and went to Jesus.	50 Mire az ledobta a felső ruháját, felugrott és odament hozzá.
51 Then Jesus spoke, 'What do you want me to do for you?' The blind man said to him, 'Rabbuni, let mesee again.'	51 Jézus megszólította és megkérdezte: »Mit akarsz, mit cselekedjek neked?« A vak azt felelte neki: »Mester! Hogy lássak!«
52 Jesus said to him, 'Go; your faith has saved you.' And at once his sight returned and he fol owed himalong the road.	52 Jézus erre azt mondta neki: »Menj, a hited meggyógyított téged.« Erre azonnal látni kezdett, és követte őt az úton.
