Zechariah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Again raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a flying scrol .	1 Levantando os olhos, olhei e vi um rolo manuscrito que voava.
2 The angel who was talking to me said, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a flying scroll; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.'	2 {O anjo} disse-me: Que vês? Um rolo que voa, respondi, o qual tem vinte côvados de comprimento por dez de largura.
3 He then said to me, 'This is God's curse sweeping across the face of the whole country; for, accordingto what it says on one side, every thief wil be banished and, according to what it says on the other, everyonewho commits perjury in my name wil be banished from it.	3 Ele disse-me: Isto é a Maldição que se espalha sobre toda a terra. Todo ladrão será expulso por ela, e todo perjuro será lançado fora por ela.
4 I am going to release it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- for it to enter the house of the thief and ofanyone who commits perjury in my name, for it to settle deep within his house and consume it, timber, stone andal .'	4 Eu a deixarei espalhar-se por toda a parte - oráculo do Senhor - e ela forçará a casa do ladrão e a do perjuro; alojar-se-á na casa {de cada um} deles e a aniquilará com a sua madeira e as suas pedras.
5 The angel who was talking to me appeared and said to me, 'Raise your eyes, and see what this is,going along.'	5 O anjo porta-voz aproximou-se e disse-me: Levanta os teus olhos e vê o que vem lá!
6 I said, 'What is it?' He said, 'It is a bushel measure going along.' He went on, 'This is their guiltthroughout the country.'	6 Eu disse: O que é? Ele respondeu: É um efá que aparece, e acrescentou: É a iniqüidade deles por toda a terra.
7 At this, a disc of lead was raised, and I saw a woman sitting inside the barrel.	7 Eis que foi levantada a tampa de chumbo, e vi uma mulher instalada no efá.
8 He said, 'This is Wickedness.' And he rammed her back into the barrel and jammed its mouth shut withthe mass of lead.	8 Esta mulher, disse ele, é a Iniqüidade! Prendeu-a no efá e tapou a boca do efá com o disco de chumbo.
9 I raised my eyes, and there were two women appearing. The wind caught their wings -- they had wingslike a stork's; they raised the barrel midway between earth and heaven.	9 Então levantei os olhos e olhei: apareceram duas mulheres, e o vento soprava em suas asas. Tinham asas como de cegonha e levantaram o efá entre o céu e a terra.
10 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'Where are they taking the barrel?'	10 Perguntei então ao porta-voz: Aonde vão elas com o efá?
11 He replied, 'To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar and make a pedestal on which to put it.'	11 Ele respondeu-me: Vão construir-lhe uma casa na terra de Senaar, estabelecê-la ali e fixá-la no seu lugar.
