1 Again raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a flying scrol .	1 - E mi voltai e alzai gli occhi, e vidi un rotolo volante.
2 The angel who was talking to me said, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a flying scroll; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.'	2 E mi disse: -Che cosa vedi?- Risposi: -Io vedo un rotolo volante, lungo venti cubiti e largo dieci.
3 He then said to me, 'This is God's curse sweeping across the face of the whole country; for, accordingto what it says on one side, every thief wil be banished and, according to what it says on the other, everyonewho commits perjury in my name wil be banished from it.	3 E mi disse: - Questa è la maledizione che esce sopra la faccia di tutta la terra; perchè chiunque ruba, come ivi sta scritto, sarà giudicato; e chiunque spergiura, come ivi sta scritto, sarà giudicato similmente.
4 I am going to release it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- for it to enter the house of the thief and ofanyone who commits perjury in my name, for it to settle deep within his house and consume it, timber, stone andal .'	4 "I o l a f a r ò us c i r e ", di c e i l Si g no r e de g l i e s e r c i t i “ e d e s s a v e r r à a l l a casa di chi giura il falso nel nome mio, e dimorerà in mezzo alla sua casa e la consumerà col suo legname e colle pietre sue". -
5 The angel who was talking to me appeared and said to me, 'Raise your eyes, and see what this is,going along.'	5 E l'angelo che mi parlava venne fuori e mi disse: - Alza gli occhi tuoi e guarda ciò che vien fuori. -
6 I said, 'What is it?' He said, 'It is a bushel measure going along.' He went on, 'This is their guiltthroughout the country.'	6 Ed io dissi: - Che cosa è mai?- Rispose: - È un'anfora che esce. - Poi soggiunse: - Questo è il loro occhio su tutta la terra. -
7 At this, a disc of lead was raised, and I saw a woman sitting inside the barrel.	7 In quel mentre un talento di piombo veniva portato ed ecco che una donna stava seduta dentro nell'anfora.
8 He said, 'This is Wickedness.' And he rammed her back into the barrel and jammed its mouth shut withthe mass of lead.	8 E disse: - Questa è l'empietà. - E la sospinse dentro nell'anfora e vi pose sopra la massa di piombo.
9 I raised my eyes, and there were two women appearing. The wind caught their wings -- they had wingslike a stork's; they raised the barrel midway between earth and heaven.	9 E alzai gli occhi e osservai ed ecco, due donne vennero fuori ventilando le ali; avevan ali come di nibbio, e sollevarono l'anfora tra la terra e il cielo.
10 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'Where are they taking the barrel?'	10 Ed io dissi all'angelo che parlava meco: - Dove trasportano esse l'anfora? -
11 He replied, 'To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar and make a pedestal on which to put it.'	11 Rispose: - Nella terra di Sennaar per fabbricarle una casa e collocarla e stabilirla ivi nella sua propria sede. -
