Zechariah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Again raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a flying scrol .	1 Yo levanté de nuevo los ojos y tuve una visión: Había un rollo que volaba.
2 The angel who was talking to me said, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a flying scroll; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.'	2 El ángel me preguntó: «¿Qué ves?». Yo le respondí: «Veo un rollo que vuela: tiene diez metros de largo por cinco de ancho».
3 He then said to me, 'This is God's curse sweeping across the face of the whole country; for, accordingto what it says on one side, every thief wil be banished and, according to what it says on the other, everyonewho commits perjury in my name wil be banished from it.	3 El me dijo: «Esta es la Maldición que se desencadena sobre todo el país. Porque según lo escrito de un lado, todo ladrón será eliminado, y según lo escrito del otro, todo perjuro será eliminado.
4 I am going to release it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- for it to enter the house of the thief and ofanyone who commits perjury in my name, for it to settle deep within his house and consume it, timber, stone andal .'	4 Yo la desencadenaré –oráculo del Señor de los ejércitos: ella entrará en la casa del ladrón y en la casa del que jura falsamente por mi Nombre; se instalará en medio de su casa, y la consumirá junto con sus maderas y sus piedras».
5 The angel who was talking to me appeared and said to me, 'Raise your eyes, and see what this is,going along.'	5 El ángel que hablaba conmigo se adelantó y me dijo: «Levanta los ojos y mira qué es eso que avanza».
6 I said, 'What is it?' He said, 'It is a bushel measure going along.' He went on, 'This is their guiltthroughout the country.'	6 Yo le pregunté: «¿Qué es eso?». El me respondió: «Es un recipiente que avanza». El agregó: «Esta es la culpa de ellos en todo el país».
7 At this, a disc of lead was raised, and I saw a woman sitting inside the barrel.	7 Entonces se levantó un disco de plomo, y vi una mujer instalada en el interior del recipiente.
8 He said, 'This is Wickedness.' And he rammed her back into the barrel and jammed its mouth shut withthe mass of lead.	8 El ángel me dijo: «Esta es la Maldad». Luego la arrojó al interior del recipiente y arrojó la masa de plomo sobre la abertura.
9 I raised my eyes, and there were two women appearing. The wind caught their wings -- they had wingslike a stork's; they raised the barrel midway between earth and heaven.	9 Yo levanté los ojos y tuve una visión. Había dos mujeres que avanzaban. El viento soplaba en sus alas: ellas tenían dos alas como las de la cigüeña, y levantaron el recipiente entre la tierra y el cielo.
10 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'Where are they taking the barrel?'	10 Yo pregunté al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿A dónde llevan el recipiente?».
11 He replied, 'To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar and make a pedestal on which to put it.'	11 El me respondió: «Le van a edificar una casa en la tierra de Senaar, y cuando esté preparada, la colocarán sobre su pedestal».
