Zechariah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 Again raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a flying scrol .	1 Je levai à nouveau les yeux et j'eus un vision. Voici: il y avait un livre qui volait.
2 The angel who was talking to me said, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a flying scroll; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.'	2 L'ange qui me parlait me dit: "Qu'est-ce que tu vois?" Je répondis: "Je vois un livre qui vole; salongueur est de vingt coudées, sa largeur de dix."
3 He then said to me, 'This is God's curse sweeping across the face of the whole country; for, accordingto what it says on one side, every thief wil be banished and, according to what it says on the other, everyonewho commits perjury in my name wil be banished from it.	3 Alors il me dit: "Ceci est la Malédiction qui se répand sur la face de tout le pays. Car, d'après elle,tout voleur sera chassé d'ici, et d'après elle, tout homme qui jure faussement par mon nom sera chassé d'ici.
4 I am going to release it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- for it to enter the house of the thief and ofanyone who commits perjury in my name, for it to settle deep within his house and consume it, timber, stone andal .'	4 Je la déchaînerai - oracle de Yahvé Sabaot pour - qu'elle entre chez le voleur et chez celui qui jurefaussement par mon nom, qu'elle s'établisse au milieu de sa maison et la consume, avec ses poutres et sespierres."
5 The angel who was talking to me appeared and said to me, 'Raise your eyes, and see what this is,going along.'	5 L'ange qui me parlait s'avança et me dit: "Lève les yeux et regarde ce qu'est cette chose quis'avance."
6 I said, 'What is it?' He said, 'It is a bushel measure going along.' He went on, 'This is their guiltthroughout the country.'	6 Et je dis: "Qu'est-elle?" Il dit: "C'est un boisseau qui s'avance." Il ajouta: "C'est leur iniquité, danstout le pays."
7 At this, a disc of lead was raised, and I saw a woman sitting inside the barrel.	7 Et voici qu'un disque de plomb se souleva: et il y avait une Femme installée à l'intérieur duboisseau.
8 He said, 'This is Wickedness.' And he rammed her back into the barrel and jammed its mouth shut withthe mass of lead.	8 Il dit: "C'est la Malice." Et il la repoussa à l'intérieur du boisseau et jeta sur l'orifice la masse deplomb.
9 I raised my eyes, and there were two women appearing. The wind caught their wings -- they had wingslike a stork's; they raised the barrel midway between earth and heaven.	9 Levant les yeux, j'eus une vision: Voici que deux femmes parurent. Le vent soufflait dans leursailes; elles avaient des ailes comme celles d'une cigogne; elles enlevèrent le boisseau entre terre et ciel.
10 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'Where are they taking the barrel?'	10 Je dis alors à l'ange qui me parlait: "Où celles-ci emportent-elles le boisseau?"
11 He replied, 'To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar and make a pedestal on which to put it.'	11 Il me répondit: "Elles vont lui bâtir un temple dans la terre de Shinéar, et lui préparer un socle, oùelles la placeront."
