Zechariah 13

NEW JERUSALEM	NOVA VULGATA
1 'When that day comes, a fountain will be opened for the House of David and the inhabitants ofJerusalem, to wash sin and impurity away.	1 In die illa erit fons patens domui David et habitantibus Ierusalem propeccatis et immunditia.
2 'When that day comes -- Yahweh declares -- I shall cut off the names of the idols from the country, and they will never be remembered again; I shal also rid the country of the prophets, and of the spirit of impurity.	2 Et erit in die illa, dicit Dominus exercituum,disperdam nomina idolorum de terra, et non memorabuntur ultra; etpseudoprophetas et spiritum immundum auferam de terra.
3 Then, if anyone still goes on prophesying, his parents, his own father and mother wil say to him, "Youshall not live, since you utter lies in Yahweh's name." And even while he is prophesying, his parents, his ownfather and mother wil pierce him through.	3 Et erit: cumprophetaverit quispiam ultra, dicent ei pater eius et mater eius, qui genuerunteum: “Non vives, quia mendacium locutus es in nomine Domini”; et configenteum pater eius et mater eius, qui genuerunt eum, cum prophetaverit.
4 When that day comes, the prophets wil al be ashamed to relate their visions when they prophesy andno longer put on their hair cloaks with intent to deceive.	4 Et erit:in die illa confundentur prophetae, unusquisque ex visione sua, cumprophetaverit; nec operientur pallio saccino, ut mentiantur,
5 Instead, they wil say, "I am no prophet. I am a man who til s the soil, for the land has been my livingsince I was a boy."	5 sed dicet: “Nonsum propheta; homo operans terram ego sum, quoniam terra est possessio mea abadulescentia mea”.
6 And if anyone asks him, "What are those gashes on your chest?" he wil reply, "I got them when I was with my friends." '	6 Et dicetur ei: “Quid sunt plagae istae in medio manuumtuarum?”. Et dicet: “His plagatus sum in domo eorum, qui diligebant me”.
7 Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me- declares Yahweh Sabaoth!Strike the shepherd, scatter the sheep! And I shal turn my hand against the young!	7 Framea, suscitare super pastorem meum et super virum cohaerentem mihi, dicit Dominus exercituum. Percute pastorem, et dispergentur oves, et convertam manum meam contra parvulos.
8 So it wil be, throughout the country- declares Yahweh Sabaoth- two-thirds in it wil be cut off (be kil ed)and the other third wil be left.	8 Et erit in omni terra, dicit Dominus: partes duae in ea dispergentur et deficient, et tertia pars relinquetur in ea;
9 I shall pass this third through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, test them as gold is tested. Hewil cal on my name and I shal answer him; I shal say, 'He is my people,' and he will say, 'Yahweh is my God!'	9 et ducam tertiam partem per ignem et purgabo eos, sicut purgatur argentum, et probabo eos, sicut probatur aurum: ipse vocabit nomen meum, et ego exaudiam eum. Dicam: Populus meus est ille; et ipse dicet: “Dominus est Deus meus”.
