Micah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 But you (Bethlehem) Ephrathah, the least of the clans of Judah, from you will come for me a future rulerof Israel whose origins go back to the distant past, to the days of old.	1 الآن تتجيّشين يا بنت الجيوش. قد اقام علينا مترسة. يضربون قاضي اسرائيل بقضيب على خده.
2 Hence Yahweh will abandon them only until she who is in labour gives birth, and then those who surviveof his race wil be reunited to the Israelites.	2 اما انت يا بيت لحم افراتة وانت صغيرة ان تكوني بين الوف يهوذا فمنك يخرج لي الذي يكون متسلطا على اسرائيل ومخارجه منذ القديم منذ ايام الازل.
3 He wil take his stand and he wil shepherd them with the power of Yahweh, with the majesty of thename of his God, and they wil be secure, for his greatness wil extend henceforth to the most distant parts of thecountry.	3 لذلك يسلّمهم الى حينما تكون قد ولدت والدة ثم ترجع بقية اخوته الى بني اسرائيل.
4 He himself wil be peace! Should the Assyrian invade our country, should he set foot in our land, weshall raise seven shepherds against him, eight leaders of men;	4 ويقف ويرعى بقدرة الرب بعظمة اسم الرب الهه ويثبتون. لانه الآن يتعظم الى اقاصي الارض.
5 they wil shepherd Assyria with the sword, the country of Nimrod with naked blade. He will save us fromthe Assyrian, should he invade our country, should he set foot inside our frontiers.	5 ويكون هذا سلاما. اذا دخل اشور في ارضنا واذا داس في قصورنا نقيم عليه سبعة رعاة وثمانية من امراء الناس.
6 Then what is left of Jacob, surrounded by many peoples, wil be like a dew from Yahweh, like showerson the grass, which do not depend on human agency and are beyond human control.	6 فيرعون ارض اشور بالسيف وارض نمرود في ابوابها فينقذ من اشور اذا دخل ارضنا واذا داس تخومنا.
7 Then what is left of Jacob, surrounded by many peoples, wil be like a lion among the forest beasts, like a fierce lion among flocks of sheep trampling as he goes, mangling his prey which no one takes from him.	7 وتكون بقية يعقوب في وسط شعوب كثيرين كالندى من عند الرب كالوابل على العشب الذي لا ينتظر انسانا ولا يصبر لبني البشر.
8 You wil be victorious over your foes and al your enemies will be torn to pieces.	8 وتكون بقية يعقوب بين الامم في وسط شعوب كثيرين كالاسد بين وحوش الوعر كشبل الاسد بين قطعان الغنم الذي اذا عبر يدوس ويفترس وليس من ينقذ.
9 When that day comes- declares Yahweh- I shal tear your horses away from you, I shal destroy yourchariots;	9 لترتفع يدك على مبغضيك وينقرض كل اعدائك
10 I shall tear the cities from your country, I shal overthrow all your fortresses;	10 ويكون في ذلك اليوم يقول الرب اني اقطع خيلك من وسطك وابيد مركباتك.
11 I shall tear the spells out of your hands and you wil have no more soothsayers;	11 واقطع مدن ارضك واهدم كل حصونك.
12 I shall tear away your images and your sacred pillars from among you, and no longer wil you worshipthings which your own hands have made!	12 واقطع السحر من يدك ولا يكون لك عائفون.
13 I shall uproot your sacred poles and shal destroy your cities!	13 واقطع تماثيلك المنحوتة وانصابك من وسطك فلا تسجد لعمل يديك في ما بعد.
14 In furious anger I shal wreak vengeance on the nations who have disobeyed me!	14 واقلع سواريك من وسطك وابيد مدنك.
	15 وبغضب وغيظ انتقم من الامم الذين لم يسمعوا
