Micah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 But you (Bethlehem) Ephrathah, the least of the clans of Judah, from you will come for me a future rulerof Israel whose origins go back to the distant past, to the days of old.	1 De te, Efrata Betlehemje kicsiny vagy ugyan Júda ezrei között; mégis belőled származik majd nekem Izraelnek jövendő uralkodója, származása az ősidőkre, a régmúlt időkre nyúlik vissza.
2 Hence Yahweh will abandon them only until she who is in labour gives birth, and then those who surviveof his race wil be reunited to the Israelites.	2 Ezért átadja őket annyi ideig, amíg a vajúdó asszony szül, és testvéreiknek maradékai visszatérnek Izrael fiaihoz.
3 He wil take his stand and he wil shepherd them with the power of Yahweh, with the majesty of thename of his God, and they wil be secure, for his greatness wil extend henceforth to the most distant parts of thecountry.	3 És ő majd odaáll, és legeltet az Úr erejével, az Úrnak, az ő Istenének fenséges nevében, és ők biztonságban lakoznak, mert ő akkor nagy lesz a föld széléig.

5 they wil shepherd Assyria with the sword, the country of Nimrod with naked blade. He will save us fromthe Assyrian, should he invade our country, should he set foot inside our frontiers.	5 és azok lelegeltetik Asszúr földjét karddal, és Nimród földjét lándzsával, és Ő megszabadít minket Asszúrtól, amikor az majd országunkba jön és tiporja határainkat.
6 Then what is left of Jacob, surrounded by many peoples, wil be like a dew from Yahweh, like showerson the grass, which do not depend on human agency and are beyond human control.	6 És Jákob maradékai olyanok lesznek a népek sokasága között, mint az Úrtól jövő harmat, és mint az esőcseppek a füvön, mely nem vár emberre, és nem szorul ember fiára.
7 Then what is left of Jacob, surrounded by many peoples, wil be like a lion among the forest beasts, like a fierce lion among flocks of sheep trampling as he goes, mangling his prey which no one takes from him.	7 És Jákob maradékai olyanok lesznek a nemzetek között, a sok nép közepette, mint az oroszlán az erdők vadjai között, és mint az oroszlánkölyök az állatok nyájai között, mely ha végigmegy, tipor és zsákmányol, és nincs, aki megszabadítson tőle.
8 You wil be victorious over your foes and al your enemies will be torn to pieces.	8 Kezed felemelkedik ellenségeid fölé, és valamennyi ellenséged elvész.
9 When that day comes- declares Yahweh- I shal tear your horses away from you, I shal destroy yourchariots;	9 »És ez történik azon a napon – mondja az Úr –, elveszem lovaidat tőled, és szétszórom szekereidet;
10 I shall tear the cities from your country, I shal overthrow all your fortresses;	10 elpusztítom országod városait, és lerombolom minden erődítésedet;
11 I shall tear the spells out of your hands and you wil have no more soothsayers;	11 kiveszem kezedből a varázslószereket, és jósok nem lesznek többé benned;
12 I shall tear away your images and your sacred pillars from among you, and no longer wil you worshipthings which your own hands have made!	12 kipusztítom faragványaidat és szobraidat körödből, hogy ne imádd többé kezed műveit.
13 I shall uproot your sacred poles and shal destroy your cities!	13 És tövestül kiirtom berkeidet körödből, és elpusztítom városaidat;
14 In furious anger I shal wreak vengeance on the nations who have disobeyed me!	14 haragosan és bőszen bosszút állok valamennyi nemzeten, mely meg nem hallgatott.«
