NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, in the desert of Sinai, in the second year after the exodus from Egypt, in thefirst month, and said:	1 وكلم الرب موسى في برية سيناء في السنة الثانية لخروجهم من ارض مصر في الشهر الاول قائلا.
2 'The Israelites must keep the Passover at its appointed time.	2 وليعمل بنو اسرائيل الفصح في وقته.
3 The fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, is the time appointed for you to keep it. You wil keep itwith all the laws and customs proper to it.'	3 في اليوم الرابع عشر من هذا الشهر بين العشاءين تعملونه في وقته. حسب كل فرائضه وكل احكامه تعملونه.
4 Moses told the Israelites to keep the Passover.	4 فكلم موسى بني اسرائيل ان يعملوا الفصح.
5 They kept it, in the desert of Sinai, in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight.The Israelites did everything as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	5 فعملوا الفصح في الشهر الاول في اليوم الرابع عشر من الشهر بين العشاءين في برية سيناء حسب كل ما امر الرب موسى هكذا فعل بنو اسرائيل
6 It happened that some men had become unclean by touching a dead body; they could not keep thePassover that day. They came the same day to Moses and Aaron,	6 لكن كان قوم قد تنجسوا لانسان ميت فلم يحل لهم ان يعملوا الفصح في ذلك اليوم فتقدموا امام موسى وهرون في ذلك اليوم.
7 and said, 'We have become unclean by touching a dead body. Why should we be excluded frombringing an offering to Yahweh at the proper time with the rest of the Israelites?'	7 وقال له اولئك الناس اننا متنجسون لانسان ميت. لماذا نترك حتى لا نقرّب قربان الرب في وقته بين بني اسرائيل.
8 Moses replied, 'Wait here until I hear what order Yahweh gives about you.'	8 فقال لهم موسى قفوا لأسمع ما يامر به الرب من جهتكم
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	9 فكلم الرب موسى قائلا.
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "Any of you or your descendants who becomes unclean by touchinga dead body, or is away on a long journey, can stil keep a Passover for Yahweh.	10 كلم بني اسرائيل قائلا. كل انسان منكم او من اجيالكم كان نجسا لميت او في سفر بعيد فليعمل الفصح للرب.
11 Such persons wil keep it in the second month, on the fourteenth day, at twilight. They wil eat it withunleavened bread and bitter herbs;	11 في الشهر الثاني في اليوم الرابع عشر بين العشاءين يعملونه. على فطير ومرار يأكلونه.
12 nothing of it must be left over until morning, nor wil they break any of its bones. They wil keep it,fol owing the entire Passover ritual.	12 لا يبقوا منه الى الصباح ولا يكسروا عظما منه. حسب كل فرائض الفصح يعملونه.
13 But anyone who is clean, or who is not on a journey, but fails to keep the Passover, such a personwil be outlawed from his people. For not having brought the offering to Yahweh at its appointed time, the personwil bear the consequences of the sin.	13 لكن من كان طاهرا وليس في سفر وترك عمل الفصح تقطع تلك النفس من شعبها لانها لم تقرّب قربان الرب في وقته. ذلك الانسان يحمل خطيته.
14 "A resident alien who keeps a Passover for Yahweh, wil keep it in accordance with the ritual andcustoms of the Passover. You will have one law for alien and citizen alike." '	14 واذا نزل عندكم غريب فليعمل فصحا للرب. حسب فريضة الفصح وحكمه كذلك يعمل. فريضة واحدة تكون لكم للغريب ولوطنيّ الارض
15 On the day the Dwel ing was erected, the cloud covered the Dwelling, the Tent of the Testimony.From nightfall until morning it remained over the Dwel ing looking like fire.	15 وفي يوم اقامة المسكن غطت السحابة المسكن خيمة الشهادة. وفي المساء كان على المسكن كمنظر نار الى الصباح.
16 So the cloud covered it all the time, and at night it looked like fire.	16 هكذا كان دائما. السحابة تغطيه ومنظر النار ليلا.
17 Whenever the cloud rose from the Tent, the Israelites broke camp, and wherever the cloud halted,there the Israelites pitched camp.	17 ومتى ارتفعت السحابة عن الخيمة كان بعد ذلك بنو اسرائيل يرتحلون. وفي المكان حيث حلّت السحابة هناك كان بنو اسرائيل ينزلون.
18 At Yahweh's order, the Israelites set out and, at Yahweh's order, the Israelites pitched camp. Theyremained in camp for as long as the cloud rested on the Dwel ing.	18 حسب قول الرب كان بنو اسرائيل يرتحلون وحسب قول الرب كانوا ينزلون. جميع ايام حلول السحابة على المسكن كانوا ينزلون.
19 If the cloud stayed for many days on the Dwelling, the Israelites performed their duty to Yahweh anddid not set out.	19 واذا تمادت السحابة على المسكن اياما كثيرة كان بنو اسرائيل يحرسون حراسة الرب ولا يرتحلون.
20 But if the cloud happened to stay for only a few days on the Dwel ing, just as they had pitched campat Yahweh's order, at Yahweh's order they set out.	20 واذا كانت السحابة اياما قليلة على المسكن فحسب قول الرب كانوا ينزلون وحسب قول الرب كانوا يرتحلون
21 If the cloud happened to remain only from evening to morning, they set out when it lifted the nextmorning. Or, if it stayed for a whole day and night, they set out only when it lifted.	21 واذا كانت السحابة من المساء الى الصباح ثم ارتفعت السحابة في الصباح كانوا يرتحلون. او يوما وليلة ثم ارتفعت السحابة كانوا يرتحلون.
22 Sometimes it stayed there for two days, a month, or a longer time; however long the cloud rested onthe Dwel ing, the Israelites remained in camp, and when it lifted they set out.	22 او يومين او شهرا او سنة متى تمادت السحابة على المسكن حالّة عليه كان بنو اسرائيل ينزلون ولا يرتحلون ومتى ارتفعت كانوا يرتحلون.
23 At Yahweh's order they pitched camp, and at Yahweh's order they set out. They performed their dutyto Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	23 حسب قول الرب كانوا ينزلون وحسب قول الرب كانوا يرتحلون وكانوا يحرسون حراسة الرب حسب قول الرب بيد موسى
