1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, in the desert of Sinai, in the second year after the exodus from Egypt, in thefirst month, and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè nel deserto del Sinai, l'anno secondo dopo l'uscita dall'Egitto, ilprimo mese, e disse:
2 'The Israelites must keep the Passover at its appointed time.	2 Facciano i figliuoli d'Israele la Pasqua nel dì stabilito,
3 The fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, is the time appointed for you to keep it. You wil keep itwith all the laws and customs proper to it.'	3 Il dì decimo quarto di questo mese alla sera, secondo tutte le cerimonie, e i riti di essa.
4 Moses told the Israelites to keep the Passover.	4 E Mosè comandò a' figliuoli d'Israele, che facessero la Pasqua.
5 They kept it, in the desert of Sinai, in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight.The Israelites did everything as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	5 Ed ei la fecero al tempo stabilito, il quartodecimo giorno del mese alla sera presso ilmonte Sinai. I figliuoli d'Israele fecer tutte le cose, come aveva ordinato il Signore aMosè.
6 It happened that some men had become unclean by touching a dead body; they could not keep thePassover that day. They came the same day to Moses and Aaron,	6 Quand'ecco, che alcuni, che erano immondi per causa di un morto, e non potevano far laPasqua in quel giorno, si accostarono a Mosè ed Aronne.
7 and said, 'We have become unclean by touching a dead body. Why should we be excluded frombringing an offering to Yahweh at the proper time with the rest of the Israelites?'	7 E disser loro: Noi siamo immondi per causa d'un morto: perché ci è egli tolto di poter fareobblazione al Signore nel tempo stabilito co' figliuoli d'Israele?
8 Moses replied, 'Wait here until I hear what order Yahweh gives about you.'	8 Rispose loro Mosè: Aspettate, che io consulti il Signore intorno a quel ch'ei dispongariguardo a voi.
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	9 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "Any of you or your descendants who becomes unclean by touchinga dead body, or is away on a long journey, can stil keep a Passover for Yahweh.	10 Tu dirai a' figliuoli d'Israele: Se un uomo del vostro popolo è immondo a causa d'un morto,od è lungi in viaggio, ei farà la Pasqua del Signore
11 Such persons wil keep it in the second month, on the fourteenth day, at twilight. They wil eat it withunleavened bread and bitter herbs;	11 Il secondo mese, il quartodecimo giorno del mese alla sera: ei la mangerà cogli azzimi, ecolle lattughe selvatiche:
12 nothing of it must be left over until morning, nor wil they break any of its bones. They wil keep it,fol owing the entire Passover ritual.	12 Non ne serberà nulla per fino alla mattina, e non romperà nissuno delle sue ossa; osserveràtutti i riti della Pasqua.
13 But anyone who is clean, or who is not on a journey, but fails to keep the Passover, such a personwil be outlawed from his people. For not having brought the offering to Yahweh at its appointed time, the personwil bear the consequences of the sin.	13 Ma se uno è mondo, e non è per viaggio, e contuttoció non ha fatto la Pasqua, saràsterminata quell'anima dalla società del suo popolo, perché non ha offerto al Signore ilsacrifizio nel tempo stabilito: egli pagherà il fio del suo peccato.
14 "A resident alien who keeps a Passover for Yahweh, wil keep it in accordance with the ritual andcustoms of the Passover. You will have one law for alien and citizen alike." '	14 Parimento se vi saranno tra voi degli stranieri, o venuti d'altro paese, ei faran la Pasquadel Signore secondo le sue cerimonie e riti. Lo stesso comando osserveranno tra voi ilforestiere e l'abitante del paese.
15 On the day the Dwel ing was erected, the cloud covered the Dwelling, the Tent of the Testimony.From nightfall until morning it remained over the Dwel ing looking like fire.	15 Ora il giorno, in cui fu eretto il tabernacolo, lo ricoperse una nuvola. Dalla sera poi finoal mattino era sopra il padiglione come una fiamma:
16 So the cloud covered it all the time, and at night it looked like fire.	16 La cosa andava sempre così: di giorno il tabernacolo era coperto da una nuvola, di nottecome da una fiamma.
17 Whenever the cloud rose from the Tent, the Israelites broke camp, and wherever the cloud halted,there the Israelites pitched camp.	17 E quando si metteva in moto la nuvola che copriva il tabernacolo, si mettevano in viaggio ifigliuoli d'Israele, e ponevano gli alloggiamenti, ove quella fermavasi.
18 At Yahweh's order, the Israelites set out and, at Yahweh's order, the Israelites pitched camp. Theyremained in camp for as long as the cloud rested on the Dwel ing.	18 Al comando di Dio partivano, e al comando di lui piantavano le tende. Per tutto il tempo chela nuvola restava immota sul tabernacolo, non si partivano da quel luogo:
19 If the cloud stayed for many days on the Dwelling, the Israelites performed their duty to Yahweh anddid not set out.	19 E se per molto tempo si stava ferma sopra di quello, i figliuoli d'Israele stavano attentiad ogni cenno del Signore, e non si movevano
20 But if the cloud happened to stay for only a few days on the Dwel ing, just as they had pitched campat Yahweh's order, at Yahweh's order they set out.	20 Per tutti i giorni che si stava la nuvola sopra il tabernacolo. Al comando di Dio alzavan letende, e al comando di lui le ripiegavano.
21 If the cloud happened to remain only from evening to morning, they set out when it lifted the nextmorning. Or, if it stayed for a whole day and night, they set out only when it lifted.	21 Se la nuvola era stata ferma dalla sera al mattino, e subitamente al primo albore siallontanava dal tabernacolo, si mettevano in viaggio: e se dopo un dì, e una notte ella siritirava, ripiegavano le tende.
22 Sometimes it stayed there for two days, a month, or a longer time; however long the cloud rested onthe Dwel ing, the Israelites remained in camp, and when it lifted they set out.	22 Se poi per due dì, o per un mese, o per più lungo spazio ella stava ferma sopra iltabernacolo, i figliuoli d'Israele si stavano nel medesimo luogo, e non si partivano: masubito che ella si allontanava, movevano il campo.
23 At Yahweh's order they pitched camp, and at Yahweh's order they set out. They performed their dutyto Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	23 Alla parola del Signore piantavano le tende, e alla parola di lui si ponevano in istrada: estavano attenti ad ogni cenno del Signore, come questi avea ordinato per mezzo di Mosè.
