1 On the day Moses finished erecting the Dwel ing, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furniture,as well as the altar and al its equipment. 2 the leaders of Israel made an offering; they were the heads of their families, the tribal leaders who hadpresided over the census.	2 obtulerunt principes Israël et capita familiarum, qui erant per singulas tribus, præfectique eorum, qui numerati fuerant,
3 They brought their offering before Yahweh: six covered wagons and twelve oxen, one wagon for everytwo leaders and one ox each. They brought them in front of the Dwel ing.	3 munera coram Domino sex plaustra tecta cum duodecim bobus. Unum plaustrum obtulere duo duces, et unum bovem singuli, obtuleruntque ea in conspectu tabernaculi.
4 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	4 Ait autem Dominus ad Moysen :
5 'Accept these from them, and let them be set apart for the service of the Tent of Meeting. You wil givethem to the Levites, to each as his duties require.'	5 Suscipe ab eis ut serviant in ministerio tabernaculi, et trades ea Levitis juxta ordinem ministerii sui.
6 Moses took the wagons and oxen, and gave them to the Levites.	6 Itaque cum suscepisset Moyses plaustra et boves, tradidit eos Levitis.
7 To the Gershonites he gave two wagons and four oxen for the duties they had to perform.	7 Duo plaustra et quatuor boves dedit filiis Gerson, juxta id quod habebant necessarium.
8 To the Merarites he gave four wagons and eight oxen for the duties they had to perform under thedirection of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.	8 Quatuor alia plaustra et octo boves dedit filiis Merari secundum officia et cultum suum, sub manu Ithamar filii Aaron sacerdotis.
9 But to the Kohathites he gave none at all, because the sacred charge entrusted to them had to becarried on their shoulders.	9 Filiis autem Caath non dedit plaustra et boves : quia in sanctuario serviunt, et onera propriis portant humeris.
10 The leaders then made an offering for the dedication of the altar, on the day it was anointed. Theybrought their offering before the altar,	10 Igitur obtulerunt duces in dedicationem altaris, die qua unctum est, oblationem suam ante altare.
11 and Yahweh said to Moses, 'Each day one of the leaders must bring his offering for the dedication ofthe altar.'	11 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen : Singuli duces per singulos dies offerant munera in dedicationem altaris.
12 On the first day an offering was brought by Nahshon son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah.	12 Primo die obtulit oblationem suam Nahasson filius Aminadab de tribu Juda :
13 His offering consisted of: one silver bowl weighing a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver sprinklingbowl weighing seventy shekels (sanctuary shekels), both of them ful of fine flour mixed with oil as a cerealoffering,	13 fueruntque in ea acetabulum argenteum pondo centum triginta siclorum, phiala argentea habens septuaginta siclos, juxta pondus sanctuarii, utrumque plenum simila conspersa oleo in sacrificium :
14 one golden bowl weighing ten shekels, ful of incense,	14 mortariolum ex decem siclis aureis plenum incenso :
15 one young bul , one ram and one male yearling lamb as a burnt offering,	15 bovem de armento, et arietem, et agnum anniculum in holocaustum :
16 one he-goat as a sacrifice for sin,	16 hircumque pro peccato :

84 Such were the offerings made by the leaders of Israel for the dedication of the altar on the day it wasanointed: twelve silver bowls, twelve silver sprinkling bowls, and twelve golden bowls.	84 Hæc in dedicatione altaris oblata sunt a principibus Israël, in die qua consecratum est : acetabula argentea duodecim : phialæ argenteæ duodecim : mortariola aurea duodecim :
85 Each silver bowl weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each sprinkling bowl seventy, the silver ofthese objects weighing in al two thousand four hundred sanctuary shekels.	85 ita ut centum triginta siclos argenti haberet unum acetabulum, et septuaginta siclos haberet una phiala : id est, in commune vasorum omnium ex argento sicli duo millia quadringenti, pondere sanctuarii :
86 The twelve golden bowls ful of incense each weighed ten shekels (sanctuary shekels), the gold ofthese bowls weighing in al a hundred and twenty shekels.	86 mortariola aurea duodecim plena incenso, denos siclos appendentia pondere sanctuarii : id est, simul auri sicli centum viginti :
87 The sum total of animals for the burnt offering: twelve bul s, twelve rams, twelve male yearling lambs,with their cereal offerings. 88 The sum total of animals for the communion sacrifice: twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty he-goats andsixty male yearling lambs. Such were the offerings for the dedication of the altar, after it had been anointed.	88 In hostias pacificorum, boves viginti quatuor, arietes sexaginta, hirci sexaginta, agni anniculi sexaginta. Hæc oblata sunt in dedicatione altaris, quando unctum est.
89 When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with him, he heard the voice speaking to himfrom above the mercy-seat on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two great winged creatures. He thenspoke to him.	89 Cumque ingrederetur Moyses tabernaculum fœderis, ut consuleret oraculum, audiebat vocem loquentis ad se de propitiatorio quod erat super arcam testimonii inter duos cherubim, unde et loquebatur ei.
