1 On the day Moses finished erecting the Dwel ing, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furniture,as well as the altar and al its equipment. 2 the leaders of Israel made an offering; they were the heads of their families, the tribal leaders who hadpresided over the census.2 si avvicinarono i capi d'Israele, che sono alla testa delle loro case paterne, capi delle tribù che avevano presieduto ai censimenti,
3 They brought their offering before Yahweh: six covered wagons and twelve oxen, one wagon for everytwo leaders and one ox each. 4 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,4 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
5 'Accept these from them, and let them be set apart for the service of the Tent of Meeting. You wil givethem to the Levites, to each as his duties require.'5 "Prendili e siano per il servizio della tenda del convegno: li darai ai leviti, ognuno secondo il suo lavoro".
6 Moses took the wagons and oxen, and gave them to the Levites.6 Mosè prese i carri e i buoi e li diede ai leviti:

89 When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with him, he heard the voice speaking to himfrom above the mercy-seat on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two great winged creatures.
