1 On the day Moses finished erecting the Dwel ing, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furniture,as well as the altar and al its equipment. 2 the leaders of Israel made an offering; they were the heads of their families, the tribal leaders who hadpresided over the census.	2 obtulerunt principes Israel et capita familiarum, qui erant per singulas tribus praefecti eorum, qui numerati fuerant,
3 They brought their offering before Yahweh: six covered wagons and twelve oxen, one wagon for everytwo leaders and one ox each. They brought them in front of the Dwel ing.	3 munera coram Domino sex plaustra tecta cum duodecim bobus. Unum plaustrum obtulere duo duces et unum bovem singuli; obtuleruntque ea in conspectu habitaculi.
4 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	4 Ait autem Dominus ad Moysen:
5 'Accept these from them, and let them be set apart for the service of the Tent of Meeting. You wil givethem to the Levites, to each as his duties require.'	5 “ Suscipe ab eis, ut serviant in ministerio tabernaculi conventus, et trades ea Levitis iuxta ordinem ministerii sui ”.
6 Moses took the wagons and oxen, and gave them to the Levites.	6 Itaque cum suscepisset Moyses plaustra et boves, tradidit eos Levitis.
7 To the Gershonites he gave two wagons and four oxen for the duties they had to perform.	7 Duo plaustra et quattuor boves dedit filiis Gerson, iuxta id quod habebant necessarium.
8 To the Merarites he gave four wagons and eight oxen for the duties they had to perform under thedirection of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.	8 Quattuor alia plaustra et octo boves dedit filiis Merari, secundum offficia sua sub manu Ithamar filii Aaron sacerdotis.
9 But to the Kohathites he gave none at all, because the sacred charge entrusted to them had to becarried on their shoulders.	9 Filiis autem Caath non dedit plaustra et boves, quia in sanctuario serviunt et onera propriis portant umeris.
10 The leaders then made an offering for the dedication of the altar, on the day it was anointed. Theybrought their offering before the altar,	10 Igitur obtulerunt duces in dedicationem altaris die, qua unctum est, oblationem suam ante altare.
11 and Yahweh said to Moses, 'Each day one of the leaders must bring his offering for the dedication ofthe altar.'	11 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: “ Singuli duces per singulos dies offerant munera in dedicationem altaris ”.
12 On the first day an offering was brought by Nahshon son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah.	12 Primo die obtulit oblationem suam Naasson filius Aminadab de tribu Iudae.
13 His offering consisted of: one silver bowl weighing a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver sprinklingbowl weighing seventy shekels (sanctuary shekels), both of them ful of fine flour mixed with oil as a cerealoffering,	13 Fueruntque in ea scutula argentea pondo centum triginta siclorum, phiala argentea habens septuaginta siclos iuxta pondus sanctuarii, utraque plena simila conspersa oleo in sacrificium,

16 one he-goat as a sacrifice for sin,	16 hircusque pro peccato;

88 The sum total of animals for the communion sacrifice: twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty he-goats andsixty male yearling lambs. 89 When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with him, he heard the voice speaking to himfrom above the mercy-seat on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two great winged creatures.
