1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore disse a Mosè e ad Aronne:
2 'Take a census by clans and families of the Levites descended from Kohath:	2 "Fa' il conto dei figli di Keat tra i figli di Levi, secondo le loro famiglie, le loro case paterne,
3 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age and eligible for military service, who will have theirduties in the Tent of Meeting.	3 da trent'anni in su fino a cinquanta, chiunque può essere schierato nell'esercito, per fare il lavoro nella tenda del convegno.

9 'They wil then take a violet cloth and cover the lamp-stand, its lamps, snuffers, trays and al the oil jars used for it,	9 Prenderanno un drappo purpureo e copriranno il candelabro della luce, le sue lampade, le sue molle, i suoi smoccolatoi e tutti i vasi a olio destinati al suo servizio.
10 and wil lay it and al its accessories in a covering of fine leather and put it on the litter.	10 Porranno quello e tutti i suoi oggetti su una coperta di pelle conciata e li porranno sulla portantina.
11 'Over the golden altar they wil spread a violet cloth, and cover that with a covering of fine leather.They wil then fix the poles to it.	11 Sull'altare d'oro stenderanno un drappo purpureo e lo copriranno con una coperta di pelle conciata e vi porranno le sue stanghe.
12 'They wil then take al the other objects used in the service of the sanctuary, put them in a violetcloth, with a covering of fine leather, and put it al on the litter.	12 Prenderanno tutti gli oggetti del servizio che avevano usato nel santuario, li porranno su un drappo purpureo, li copriranno con una coperta di pelle conciata e li porranno sulla portantina.
13 'When they have removed the ashes from the altar, they wil spread a scarlet cloth over it,	13 Purgheranno poi l'altare dalla cenere e vi stenderanno un drappo scarlatto:
14 and on this place all the objects used in the liturgy, the fire pans, hooks, scoops, sprinkling basins andal the altar accessories. Over this they will spread a covering of fine leather. They wil then fix the poles to it.	14 vi porranno tutti gli oggetti che servono al suo servizio, i bracieri, le forcelle, le palette, i catini, tutti gli oggetti dell'altare, vi stenderanno una coperta di pelle conciata e vi porranno le loro stanghe.
15 'Once Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things and all their accessories at thebreaking of camp, the Kohathites wil come and carry them, but without touching any of the holy things on pain ofdeath. Such is the load for the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting.	15 Dopo che Aronne e i suoi figli avranno terminato di coprire il santuario e tutti gli oggetti del santuario, nel togliere il campo, verranno i figli di Keat per portarli, e non toccheranno le cose sante per non morire. 19 But deal with them in this way, so that they may survive and not incur death by approaching thosethings that are especial y holy. 23 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, who will have their dutiesin the Tent of Meeting.	23 da trent'anni in su fino a cinquanta li recensirai, chiunque può essere schierato nell'esercito, per compiere l'opera nella tenda del convegno.

48 came to eight thousand five hundred and eighty.	48 i recensiti furono 8.580.
49 At Yahweh's bidding through Moses, a census was taken of them and each man was assigned hisduty and load. And so the census was conducted by Moses as Yahweh had ordered him.	49 Sulla parola del Signore il loro censimento fu fatto per mezzo di Mosè, ognuno per il suo lavoro e per il suo trasporto. Il loro censimento è quello che il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.
