1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 - Il Signore parlò a Mosè ed Aronne, e disse:
2 'Take a census by clans and families of the Levites descended from Kohath:	2 «Fa' il computo di fra i leviti, di tutti quelli discendenti da Caat, secondo le loro case e famiglie,
3 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age and eligible for military service, who will have theirduties in the Tent of Meeting.	3 da trent'anni in su fino a cinquanta, che possano entrare, stare e servire nel tabernacolo della testimonianza.
4 'These are the duties of the Kohathites: looking after those things that are especial y holy.	4 Quest'è l'ufficio de' figliuoli di Caat, riguardo al tabernacolo dell'alleanza ed al Santo dei Santi.
5 'When camp is broken, Aaron and his sons must come and take down the screening curtain, and coverthe ark of the Testimony with it.	5 Quando si dovranno muover gli accampamenti, Aronne ed i suoi figliuoli entreranno, staccheranno il velo che pende all'ingresso, e con quello avvolgeranno l'arca della testimonianza.
6 Over this, they will put a covering of fine leather, over which they wil spread a cloth entirely of violet-purple. They wil then fix the poles to the ark.	6 Poi la copriranno ancora con la copertura di pelli tinte in violaceo, vi stenderanno sopra la copertura color giacinto, e vi passeranno le stanghe.
7 'Over the offertory table they wil spread a violet cloth, and on it put the dishes, cups, bowls and libationjars; the bread of permanent offering will also be on it.	7 Involgeranno in una coperta di giacinto anche la mensa della proposizione, ponendovi insieme i turiboli ed i piccoli mortai, i calici e le coppe per versare le libazioni; i pani vi rimarranno sempre.
8 Over these they will spread a scarlet cloth and cover the whole with a covering of fine leather. They willthen fix the poles to the table.	8 Poi vi stenderanno sopra un panno rosso di cocco, e lo copriranno alla sua volta con una copertura di pelli violacee; indi vi passeranno le stanghe.
9 'They wil then take a violet cloth and cover the lamp-stand, its lamps, snuffers, trays and al the oil jars used for it,	9 Prenderanno anche un panno di giacinto, col quale ricopriranno il candelabro con le lucerne, le forbici, gli smoccolatoi, i vasi dell'olio, e tutto quel che è necessario al mantenimento delle lampade;
10 and wil lay it and al its accessories in a covering of fine leather and put it on the litter.	10 su tutto ciò porranno una copertura di pelli violacee, e vi metteranno le stanghe.
11 'Over the golden altar they wil spread a violet cloth, and cover that with a covering of fine leather.They wil then fix the poles to it.	11 Similmente involgeranno in un velo di giacinto l'altare d'oro, vi stenderanno sopra una copertura di pelli violacee, e vi passeranno le stanghe.
12 'They wil then take al the other objects used in the service of the sanctuary, put them in a violetcloth, with a covering of fine leather, and put it al on the litter.	12 Tutti gli arredi pel servizio del santuario, li involgeranno in un velo di giacinto, vi stenderanno sopra una copertura di pelli violacee, e li porranno sulle stanghe.
13 'When they have removed the ashes from the altar, they wil spread a scarlet cloth over it,	13 Puliranno dalla cenere l'altare [degli olocausti], e lo avvolgeranno con un velo di porpora,
14 and on this place all the objects used in the liturgy, the fire pans, hooks, scoops, sprinkling basins andal the altar accessories. Over this they will spread a covering of fine leather. They wil then fix the poles to it.	14 ponendovi insieme tutti gli attrezzi dei quali si fa uso nel suo servizio: cioè i bracieri, i forchettoni, i tridenti, gli uncini e le palette. Tutti insieme gli arredi dell'altare, li copriranno con una copertura di pelli violacee e li porranno sulle stanghe.
15 'Once Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things and all their accessories at thebreaking of camp, the Kohathites wil come and carry them, but without touching any of the holy things on pain ofdeath. Such is the load for the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting.	15 Quando poi Aronne ed i suoi figli avranno così involtato i pezzi del santuario e tutti i suoi arredi, allora sul punto di muovere il campo, verranno i figli di Caat a portar via gli oggetti già involti; ma non toccheranno gli arredi del santuario, per non morire. Son questi gli uffici de' figli di Caat riguardo al tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
16 But Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, is responsible for looking after the oil for the light, the fragrantincense, the daily cereal offering and the anointing oil, and for supervising the entire Dwel ing and everything init, the holy things and their accessories.'	16 Ad essi soprintenderà Eleazaro figlio d'Aronne sacerdote; a lui spetta la cura dell'olio per accomodare le lampade, dell'incenso composto, del sacrifizio che s'offre ogni giorno, dell'olio per la [sacra] unzione, di tutto ciò che appartiene al culto del tabernacolo, e di tutti gli arredi che sono nel santuario».
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 Di poi il Signore parlò a Mosè ed Aronne, e disse loro:
18 'You must not let the group of Kohathite clans be lost to the rest of the Levites.	18 «Non permettete che la progenie di Caat sia sterminata di fra i leviti;
19 But deal with them in this way, so that they may survive and not incur death by approaching thosethings that are especial y holy. Aaron and his sons wil go in and assign to each of them his task and load,	19 ma perchè vivano, e non vengano a morte per aver toccato le cose santissime, fate così: Aronne e i suoi figli entreranno e disporranno essi stessi il lavoro di ciascheduno, assegnando quel che ciascuno debba portare.
20 in such a way that they have no need to incur the death penalty by going in and setting eyes on theholy things, even for an instant.'	20 Gli altri non abbiano la minima curiosità di vedere le cose che sono nel santuario, sinchè non siano state coperte; altrimenti morranno».
21 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	21 Quindi il Signore parlò a Mosè e gli disse:
22 'Take a census of the Gershonites by families and clans, too:	22 «Fa' il computo anche de' figli di Gerson, per case e famiglie e discendenze;
23 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, who will have their dutiesin the Tent of Meeting.	23 da trent'anni in su, fino ai cinquanta, conta quelli capaci d'entrare a servire nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
24 'These are the duties of the Gershonite clans, their functions and their loads.	24 L'ufficio della stirpe gersonita è questo:
25 They wil carry the curtaining of the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting with its covering and the covering offine leather that goes over it, the screen for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	25 di portare le cortine ed il tetto del tabernacolo dell'alleanza, la seconda copertura, la copertura violacea che sta sopra le altre, la tenda che pende all'ingresso del tabernacolo dell'alleanza,
26 the curtaining of the court, the screen for the entrance to the court surrounding the Dwel ing and thealtar, the cords, al the accessories for worship, and al the necessary equipment. 'They wil be responsible forthese things.	26 le cortine dell'atrio ed il velo che sta sull'ingresso davanti al tabernacolo. Tutto quello che appartiene all'altare, le corde ed i vasi del ministero,
27 Al the duties of the Gershonites, their functions and their loads, will be carried out under the directionof Aaron and his sons: you wil see that they fulfil their charge.	27 i figli di Gerson lo porteranno, secondo che comanderanno Aronne ed i suoi figli; sappia ciascuno a qual ufficio dev'esser addetto.
28 Such are the duties of the Gershonite clans in the Tent of Meeting. Their work wil be supervised byIthamar, son of Aaron the priest.	28 Questo è il servizio della gente gersonita riguardo al tabernacolo dell'alleanza; saranno guidati da Itamar figlio d'Aronne sacerdote.
29 'You will take a census of the Merarites by clans and families.	29 Farai il censo anche de' discendenti di Merari, secondo le famiglie e case de' padri loro
30 You will take a census of al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service,who wil have their duties in the Tent of Meeting.	30 da trent'anni in su, fino ai cinquanta; di tutti quelli che posson entrare a compire il proprio ministero in servizio del tabernacolo della testimonianza.
31 'The load they carry and the duties incumbent on them in the Tent of Meeting will be as fol ows: theframework of the Dwel ing, its cross-bars, poles and sockets,	31 Questi sono i loro obblighi: porteranno le assi del tabernacolo e le sue traverse, le colonne con le loro basi,
32 the poles round the court with their sockets, pegs, cords and al their tackle. You wil draw up a list oftheir names with the loads for which each is responsible.	32 le colonne ancora che stanno in giro intorno all'atrio, con le basi, i piuoli e le funi rispettive. Tutti questi attrezzi e suppellettili, li riceveranno numerati, e così li porteranno.
33 'Such are the duties of the Merarite clans. Al their duties in the Tent of Meeting wil be supervised byIthamar, son of Aaron the priest.'	33 Quest'è l'ufficio della stirpe merarita, ed il suo servizio nel tabernacolo della testimonianza; saranno guidati da Itamar figlio d'Aronne sacerdote».
34 Moses, Aaron and the leaders of the community took a census of the Kohathites by clans andfamilies:	34 Mosè dunque ed Aronne coi principi della sinagoga fecero il censo de' figli di Caat, secondo le genealogie e case de' padri loro,
35 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent ofMeeting.	35 da trent'anni in su, fino a cinquanta: di tutti quelli che potevano entrare in servizio del tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
36 The number of men counted in their clans came to two thousand seven hundred and fifty.	36 Furon trovati in numero di duemila e settecentocinquanta.
37 Such was the total number of men in the Kohathite clans who were eligible for duties in the Tent ofMeeting and whom Moses and Aaron counted at Yahweh's bidding through Moses.	37 Quest'è il numero degli addetti al tabernacolo dell'alleanza fra la gente di Caat. Li contarono Mosè ed Aronne, secondo l'istruzione data dal Signore a Mosè.
38 A census was taken of the Gershonites by clans and families:	38 Furon contati anche i figli di Gerson, secondo le genealogie e le case de' padri loro,
39 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent ofMeeting.	39 da trent'anni in su, fino a cinquanta: tutti i chiamati a compire il servizio del tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
40 The number of men counted in their clans and families came to two thousand six hundred and thirty.	40 Furon trovati esser duemila e seicentotrenta.
41 Such was the total number of men in the Gershonite clans who were eligible for duties in the Tent ofMeeting, and whom Moses and Aaron counted at Yahweh's bidding.	41 È questa la gente gersonita, numerata da Mosè ed Aronne, conforme alla parola del Signore.
42 A census was taken of the Merarite clans by clans and families:	42 Furon contati, secondo le genealogie e le case de' padri loro, anche i figli di Merari,
43 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent of Meeting.	43 da trent'anni in su, fino a cinquanta, tutti i chiamati a compire il servizio del tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
44 The number of men counted in their clans came to three thousand two hundred.	44 Furon trovati essere tremila e duecento.
45 Such was the total number of men in the Merarite clans, whom Moses and Aaron counted atYahweh's bidding through Moses.	45 È questo il numero dei discendenti di Merari, contati da Mosè ed Aronne, conforme il comando dato a Mosè dal Signore.
46 The total number of Levites whom Moses, Aaron and the leaders of Israel counted in their clans andfamilies,	46 Tutt'i leviti passati in rassegna, recensiti per nome da Mosè ed Aronne e da' principi d'Israele, secondo le genealogie e le case dei padri loro,
47 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for religious duties and for those oftransporting the Tent of Meeting	47 da trent'anni in su, fino a cinquanta, addetti al servizio del tabernacolo, ed a portarne i colli,
48 came to eight thousand five hundred and eighty.	48 furono in tutti ottomila e cinquecentottanta.
49 At Yahweh's bidding through Moses, a census was taken of them and each man was assigned hisduty and load. And so the census was conducted by Moses as Yahweh had ordered him.	49 Li passò in rassegna Mosè, secondo la parola del Signore; ciascuno secondo l'ufficio ed il carico assegnatoli, come gli aveva comandato il Signore.
