NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 IL Signore parlò ancora a Mosè e ad Aaronne, dicendo:
2 'Take a census by clans and families of the Levites descended from Kohath:	2 Levate la somma de’ figliuoli di Chehat, d’infra i figliuoli di Levi, per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne;
3 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age and eligible for military service, who will have theirduties in the Tent of Meeting.	3 dall’età di trent’anni in su, fino a cinquanta; cioè: tutti quelli che possono entrare in ufficio, per fare l’opera nel Tabernacolo della convenenza.
4 'These are the duties of the Kohathites: looking after those things that are especial y holy.	4 Questo è il servizio de’ figliuoli di Chehat, nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, nelle cose santissime.
5 'When camp is broken, Aaron and his sons must come and take down the screening curtain, and coverthe ark of the Testimony with it.	5 Quando il campo si moverà, vengano Aaronne ed i suoi figliuoli, e pongan giù la Cortina che si tende davanti all’Arca, e copre l’Arca della Testimonianza.
6 Over this, they will put a covering of fine leather, over which they wil spread a cloth entirely of violet-purple. They wil then fix the poles to the ark.	6 Poi mettanvi sopra una coverta di pelli di tasso, e stendano disopra un drappo tutto di violato; e mettano le stanghe all’Arca.
7 'Over the offertory table they wil spread a violet cloth, and on it put the dishes, cups, bowls and libationjars; the bread of permanent offering will also be on it.	7 Poi stendano sopra la Tavola di presenza un drappo di violato; e mettano sopra essa i piattelli, e le scodelle, e le coppe, e i nappi da fare gli spargimenti; sia parimente sopra essa il pane continuo.
8 Over these they will spread a scarlet cloth and cover the whole with a covering of fine leather. They willthen fix the poles to the table.	8 E stendano sopra quelle cose un drappo di scarlatto, e coprano quello con una coverta di pelli di tasso; poi mettano le stanghe alla Tavola.
9 'They wil then take a violet cloth and cover the lamp-stand, its lamps, snuffers, trays and al the oil jars used for it,	9 Poi prendano un drappo di violato, e copranne il Candelliere della lumiera, e le sue lampane, e i suoi smoccalatoi, e i suoi catinelli, e tutti i vaselli dell’olio di esso, co’ quali si fanno i suoi servigi.
10 and wil lay it and al its accessories in a covering of fine leather and put it on the litter.	10 Poi mettano il Candelliere, con tutti i suoi strumenti, in una coverta di pelli di tasso; e mettanlo sopra un par di stanghe.
11 'Over the golden altar they wil spread a violet cloth, and cover that with a covering of fine leather.They wil then fix the poles to it.	11 Poi stendano un drappo di violato sopra l’Altare d’oro; e copranlo con una coverta di pelli di tasso; poi mettano le stanghe all’Altare.
12 'They wil then take al the other objects used in the service of the sanctuary, put them in a violetcloth, with a covering of fine leather, and put it al on the litter.	12 Poi prendano tutti gli arredi del servigio, co’ quali si fa il servigio nel Santuario, e mettanli dentro un drappo di violato, e copranli con una coverta di pelli di tasso; e mettanli sopra un par di stanghe.
13 'When they have removed the ashes from the altar, they wil spread a scarlet cloth over it,	13 Poi tolgano le ceneri dall’Altare, e stendano sopra esso un drappo di scarlatto.
14 and on this place all the objects used in the liturgy, the fire pans, hooks, scoops, sprinkling basins andal the altar accessories. Over this they will spread a covering of fine leather. They wil then fix the poles to it.	14 E mettano sopra esso tutti i suoi strumenti, co’ quali si fa il servigio sopra esso, le cazze, le forcelle, le palette, i bacini, e tutti gli altri strumenti dell’Altare; e stendanvi sopra una coverta di pelli di tasso; poi mettano le stanghe all’Altare.
15 'Once Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things and all their accessories at thebreaking of camp, the Kohathites wil come and carry them, but without touching any of the holy things on pain ofdeath. Such is the load for the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting.	15 E, dopo che Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli avranno finito di coprire il Santuario, e tutti gli arredi di esso, quando il campo si moverà; vengano i figliuoli di Chehat, per portar quelle cose; e non tocchino il Santuario, che non muoiano. Queste son le cose che i figliuoli di Chehat devono portare, del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
16 But Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, is responsible for looking after the oil for the light, the fragrantincense, the daily cereal offering and the anointing oil, and for supervising the entire Dwel ing and everything init, the holy things and their accessories.'	16 E abbia Eleazaro, figliuolo del Sacerdote Aaronne, il carico dell’olio della lumiera, e del profumo aromatico, e dell’offerta continua, e dell’olio dell’Unzione; oltre alla sopraintendenza sopra tutto il Tabernacolo, e tutto ciò ch’è in esso, per lo Santuario, e per li suoi arredi.
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 Poi il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aaronne, dicendo:
18 'You must not let the group of Kohathite clans be lost to the rest of the Levites.	18 Non fate sì che la tribù delle famiglie de’ Chehatiti sia sterminata d’infra i Leviti.
19 But deal with them in this way, so that they may survive and not incur death by approaching thosethings that are especial y holy. Aaron and his sons wil go in and assign to each of them his task and load,	19 Anzi fate loro questo, acciocchè vivano, e non muoiano, quando si accosteranno alle cose santissime: Vengano Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli, e disponganli ciascuno al suo servigio, e a ciò ch’egli ha da portare.
20 in such a way that they have no need to incur the death penalty by going in and setting eyes on theholy things, even for an instant.'	20 Ma non vengano per riguardare, quando si copriranno le cose sante, che non muoiano
21 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	21 Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:
22 'Take a census of the Gershonites by families and clans, too:	22 Leva parimente la somma dei figliuoli di Gherson, per le lor famiglie paterne e nazioni.
23 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, who will have their dutiesin the Tent of Meeting.	23 Annoverali, dall’età di trent’anni in su, fino a cinquanta, cioè: tutti quelli che possono entrare in esercizio di ufficio, per servire nel Tabernacolo della convenenza.
24 'These are the duties of the Gershonite clans, their functions and their loads.	24 Questo è il servigio delle famiglie dei Ghersoniti, in ministrare e in portare:
25 They wil carry the curtaining of the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting with its covering and the covering offine leather that goes over it, the screen for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	25 Portino i teli della Tenda, e il Tabernacolo della convenenza; la sua Coverta, e la Coverta di pelli di tasso che è disopra, e il Tappeto dell’entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza;
26 the curtaining of the court, the screen for the entrance to the court surrounding the Dwel ing and thealtar, the cords, al the accessories for worship, and al the necessary equipment. 'They wil be responsible forthese things.	26 e le cortine del Cortile, e il Tappeto dell’entrata della porta del Cortile, il quale è intorno al Tabernacolo e all’Altare; e le corde di quelle, e tutti gli arredi per lor servigio. E servano essi in tutto ciò che si deve fare intorno a quelle cose.
27 Al the duties of the Gershonites, their functions and their loads, will be carried out under the directionof Aaron and his sons: you wil see that they fulfil their charge.	27 Tutto il servigio de’ figliuoli di Gherson, in tutto ciò che devono portare, e in tutti i servigi che devono fare, sia secondo l’ordine di Aaronne e de’ suoi figliuoli; e voi darete loro il carico di tutto ciò che dovranno portare.
28 Such are the duties of the Gershonite clans in the Tent of Meeting. Their work wil be supervised byIthamar, son of Aaron the priest.	28 Questo è il servigio delle famiglie de’ figliuoli di Gherson, nel Tabernacolo della convenenza; e la fazion loro sarà sotto la sopraintendenza d’Itamar, figliuolo del Sacerdote Aaronne.
29 'You will take a census of the Merarites by clans and families.	29 Annovera eziandio i figliuoli di Merari, per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne.
30 You will take a census of al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service,who wil have their duties in the Tent of Meeting.	30 Annoverali, dall’età di trenta anni in su, fino a cinquanta, cioè: tutti quelli che possono entrare nel servigio del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
31 'The load they carry and the duties incumbent on them in the Tent of Meeting will be as fol ows: theframework of the Dwel ing, its cross-bars, poles and sockets,	31 E questo sia ciò che devono portare per lor fazione, insieme con tutto il servigio che dovranno fare nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, cioè: le assi del Tabernacolo, e le sue sbarre e le sue colonne, e i suoi piedistalli.
32 the poles round the court with their sockets, pegs, cords and al their tackle. You wil draw up a list oftheir names with the loads for which each is responsible.	32 E le colonne del Cortile d’intorno, e i lor piedistalli, e i lor piuoli, e le lor corde, insieme con tutti i loro arredi, per tutti i lor servigi; e consegnate loro per nome gli arredi che dovranno portare per lor fazione.
33 'Such are the duties of the Merarite clans. Al their duties in the Tent of Meeting wil be supervised byIthamar, son of Aaron the priest.'	33 Questo è il servigio delle famiglie de’ figliuoli di Merari; oltre a tutto il servigio che hanno da fare nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, sotto la sopraintendenza di Itamar, figliuolo del Sacerdote Aaronne
34 Moses, Aaron and the leaders of the community took a census of the Kohathites by clans andfamilies:	34 Mosè adunque, ed Aaronne, e i principali della raunanza, annoverarono i figliuoli di Chehat, per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne;
35 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent ofMeeting.	35 dall’età di trent’anni in su, fino a cinquanta, cioè: tutti quelli che potevano entrare in ufficio, per servire nel Tabernacolo della convenenza.
36 The number of men counted in their clans came to two thousand seven hundred and fifty.	36 E gli annoverati d’infra loro, distinti per le lor nazioni, furono duemila settecencinquanta.
37 Such was the total number of men in the Kohathite clans who were eligible for duties in the Tent ofMeeting and whom Moses and Aaron counted at Yahweh's bidding through Moses.	37 Questi sono gli annoverati delle nazioni de’ Chehatiti; che erano tutti quelli che servivano nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, i quali Mosè ed Aaronne annoverarono, per comandamento del Signore, dato per man di Mosè.
38 A census was taken of the Gershonites by clans and families:	38 E gli annoverati d’infra i figliuoli di Gherson, distinti per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne;
39 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent ofMeeting.	39 dall’età di trent’anni in su, fino a cinquanta; ch’erano tutti quelli che potevano entrare in ufficio, per servire nel Tabernacolo della convenenza;
40 The number of men counted in their clans and families came to two thousand six hundred and thirty.	40 gli annoverati, dico, d’infra loro, distinti per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne, furono duemila seicentrenta.
41 Such was the total number of men in the Gershonite clans who were eligible for duties in the Tent ofMeeting, and whom Moses and Aaron counted at Yahweh's bidding.	41 Questi sono gli annoverati delle nazioni de’ figliuoli di Gherson; ch’erano tutti quelli che servivano nel Tabernacolo della convenenza; i quali Mosè ed Aaronne annoverarono, per comandamento del Signore.
42 A census was taken of the Merarite clans by clans and families:	42 E gli annoverati delle nazioni de’ figliuoli di Merari, distinti per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne;
43 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent of Meeting.	43 dall’età di trent’anni in su, fino a cinquanta, cioè: tutti quelli che potevano entrare in ufficio, per servire nel Tabernacolo della convenenza;
44 The number of men counted in their clans came to three thousand two hundred.	44 gli annoverati, dico, d’infra loro, distinti per le lor nazioni, furono tremila dugento.
45 Such was the total number of men in the Merarite clans, whom Moses and Aaron counted atYahweh's bidding through Moses.	45 Questi sono gli annoverati delle nazioni de’ figliuoli di Merari; i quali Mosè ed Aaronne annoverarono, per comandamento del Signore, dato per man di Mosè.
46 The total number of Levites whom Moses, Aaron and the leaders of Israel counted in their clans andfamilies,	46 Tutti gli annoverati i quali Mosè, ed Aaronne, e i principali d’Israele, annoverarono, d’infra i Leviti, distinti per le lor nazioni e famiglie paterne;
47 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for religious duties and for those oftransporting the Tent of Meeting	47 dall’età di trent’anni in su, fino a cinquanta, cioè: tutti quelli che potevano entrare in servigio, così per servire, come per portare, nel Tabernacolo della convenenza;
48 came to eight thousand five hundred and eighty.	48 gli annoverati, dico, d’infra loro, furono ottomila cinquecentottanta.
49 At Yahweh's bidding through Moses, a census was taken of them and each man was assigned hisduty and load. And so the census was conducted by Moses as Yahweh had ordered him.	49 Essi gli annoverarono per comandamento del Signore, dato per man di Mosè, ciascuno secondo che dovea servire o portare; e gli annoverati da loro furono quelli che il Signore avea comandati a Mosè
