2 'Take a census by clans and families of the Levites descended from Kohath:	2 Fa' il novero de' figliuoli di Caath separatamente dagli altri Leviti secondo le loro case,e famiglie.
3 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age and eligible for military service, who will have theirduties in the Tent of Meeting.	3 Dal trentesimo anno in poi fino al cinquantesimo, conta tutti quelli che entrano distazione, e servono nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
4 'These are the duties of the Kohathites: looking after those things that are especial y holy.	4 Questo è l'ufficio de' figliuoli di Caath. Nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza, e nel Sanctasanctorum
5 'When camp is broken, Aaron and his sons must come and take down the screening curtain, and coverthe ark of the Testimony with it.	5 Entrerà Aronne, e i figliuoli di lui, allorché debbonsi muovere gli alloggiamenti, ecaleranno il velo, che pende dinanzi alla porta, e in esso involgeranno l'arca deltestamento,
6 Over this, they will put a covering of fine leather, over which they wil spread a cloth entirely of violet-purple. 7 'Over the offertory table they wil spread a violet cloth, and on it put the dishes, cups, bowls and libationjars; the bread of permanent offering will also be on it.	7 Parimente la mensa della proposizione la involgeranno in coperta di giacinto, e con essametteranno i turiboli, e i mortai, e i bicchieri, e i nappi per le libagioni: sopra la mensavi saranno sempre i pani:
8 Over these they will spread a scarlet cloth and cover the whole with a covering of fine leather. They willthen fix the poles to the table.	8 E vi stenderanno sopra il velo di scarlatto, il quale sarà ancor coperto colla tenda dipelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.
9 'They wil then take a violet cloth and cover the lamp-stand, its lamps, snuffers, trays and al the oil jars used for it,	9 Prenderanno anche una coperta di giacinto, colla quale involgeranno il candelabro collelucerne, e le sue forbici, e le smoccolatoie, e con tutti i vasi dell'olio, e quel che servead aggiustar le lucerne:
10 and wil lay it and al its accessories in a covering of fine leather and put it on the litter.	10 E sopra tutte queste cose metteranno una coperta di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno lestanghe.
11 'Over the golden altar they wil spread a violet cloth, and cover that with a covering of fine leather.They wil then fix the poles to it.	11 Similmente l'altare d'oro lo involgeranno in una coperta di giacinto, e vi stenderanno sopraun velo di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.
12 'They wil then take al the other objects used in the service of the sanctuary, put them in a violetcloth, with a covering of fine leather, and put it al on the litter.	12 Tutti i vasi che servono al santuario, li copriranno con una tenda di iacinto, e stenderannosopra un velo di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.
13 'When they have removed the ashes from the altar, they wil spread a scarlet cloth over it,	13 L'altare eziandio degli olocausti ripulito dalle ceneri lo involgeranno in una coperta diporpora,
14 and on this place all the objects used in the liturgy, the fire pans, hooks, scoops, sprinkling basins andal the altar accessories. Over this they will spread a covering of fine leather. They wil then fix the poles to it.	14 Posti sopra di essi tutti gli arnesi, che servono per esso; vale a dire i bracieri, iforconi, i tridenti, gli uncini, le padelle, gli arnesi dell'altare li copriranno tuttiinsieme col velo di pelli violette, e porranno (ogni cosa) sopra le stanghe.
15 'Once Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things and all their accessories at thebreaking of camp, the Kohathites wil come and carry them, but without touching any of the holy things on pain ofdeath. Such is the load for the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting.	15 E quando Aronne, e i figliuoli di lui avranno involto tutte le parti del santuario, e tuttii suoi vasi nel muoversi il campo, allora verranno i figliuoli di Caath a prenderegl'involti: e non toccheranno i vasi del santuario, altrimenti sarebbero messi a morte.Questa è incumbenza dei figliuoli di Caath nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza:
16 But Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, is responsible for looking after the oil for the light, the fragrantincense, the daily cereal offering and the anointing oil, and for supervising the entire Dwel ing and everything init, the holy things and their accessories.'	16 Il loro capo sarà Eleazaro, figliuolo di Aronne sommo sacerdote, e a lui si apparterràl'aver cura dell'olio per preparare le lucerne, e dei profumi di composizione, e delsacrifizio perpetuo, e dell'olio di unzione, e di tutto quello che riguarda il culto deltabernacolo, e di tutti i vasi, che sono nel santuario.
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	17 E il Signore parlò a Mosè ed Aronne, e disse:
18 'You must not let the group of Kohathite clans be lost to the rest of the Levites.	18 Badate, che la stirpe di Caath non abbia ad essere sterminata di mezzo a' Leviti:
19 But deal with them in this way, so that they may survive and not incur death by approaching thosethings that are especial y holy. Aaron and his sons wil go in and assign to each of them his task and load,	19 Ma affinché eglino non periscano, ove vengano a toccare le cose sante, fate così: Aronne, ei suoi figliuoli entrino (nel santuario), ed ei preparino a ciascheduno il loro incarico, espartiscano quello che gli altri debbono portare.
20 in such a way that they have no need to incur the death penalty by going in and setting eyes on theholy things, even for an instant.'	20 Gli altri non si lascin portare dalla curiosità a mirare le cose, che sono nel santuario,prima che sieno involte, altrimenti periranno.
21 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	21 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
22 'Take a census of the Gershonites by families and clans, too:	22 Conta anche il numero dei figliuoli di Gerson secondo la loro genealogia, e famiglia, e casa
23 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, who will have their dutiesin the Tent of Meeting.	23 Dai trent'anni in poi fino a' cinquanta. Conta tutti quelli che entrano a servire neltabernacolo dell'alleanza.
24 'These are the duties of the Gershonite clans, their functions and their loads.	24 L'ufficio della famiglia de' Gersoniti è questo:
25 They wil carry the curtaining of the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting with its covering and the covering offine leather that goes over it, the screen for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	25 Ei porteranno i veli del tabernacolo, e le coperte dello stesso tabernacolo, e la secondacoperta, e il velame di pelli violette, che sta di sopra, e la tenda, che pende all'ingressodel tabernacolo dell'alleanza,

'They wil be responsible forthese things.	26 Le cortine dell'atrio, e il velo dell'ingresso dinanzi al tabernacolo. Tutte le cose chespettano all'altare, le funi, e i vasi del ministero,
27 Al the duties of the Gershonites, their functions and their loads, will be carried out under the directionof Aaron and his sons: you wil see that they fulfil their charge.	27 Li porteranno i figliuoli di Gerson secondo gli ordini che avranno da Aronne, e daifigliuoli di lui, e ad ognun di loro sarà noto il servigio che dee prestare.
28 Such are the duties of the Gershonite clans in the Tent of Meeting. Their work wil be supervised byIthamar, son of Aaron the priest.	28 Queste sono le incumbenze della famiglia de' Gersoniti nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza: essidipenderanno da Ithamar figliuolo di Aronne sommo sacerdote.
29 'You will take a census of the Merarites by clans and families.	29 Farai anche il novero de' figliuoli di Merari secondo le famiglie, e le case dei padri loro.
30 You will take a census of al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service,who wil have their duties in the Tent of Meeting.	30 Da trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta conterai tutti quelli che entrano ad adempierel'obbligo del lor ministero, e a servire al tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
31 'The load they carry and the duties incumbent on them in the Tent of Meeting will be as fol ows: theframework of the Dwel ing, its cross-bars, poles and sockets,	31 La loro incumbenza è questa: Porteranno le tavole del tabernacolo e le sue travi, lecolonne, e le loro basi,
32 the poles round the court with their sockets, pegs, cords and al their tackle. 33 'Such are the duties of the Merarite clans. 34 Moses, Aaron and the leaders of the community took a census of the Kohathites by clans andfamilies:	34 Mosè adunque e Aronne, e i principi della sinagoga fecero il novero de' figliuoli di Caath,secondo le famiglie, e le case de' padri loro,
35 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent ofMeeting.	35 Da' trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta contarono tutti quelli che entrano nel ministero deltabernacolo dell'alleanza:
36 The number of men counted in their clans came to two thousand seven hundred and fifty.	36 E si trovarono due mila settecento cinquanta.
37 Such was the total number of men in the Kohathite clans who were eligible for duties in the Tent ofMeeting and whom Moses and Aaron counted at Yahweh's bidding through Moses.	37 Questo è il numero di quelli della stirpe di Caath, che entrano nel tabernacolodell'alleanza: questi furono contati da Mosè, e da Aronne secondo l'ordine dato dal Signoreper mezzo di Mosè.
38 A census was taken of the Gershonites by clans and families:	38 Furon similmente contati i figliuoli di Gerson secondo le famiglie, e le case dei padriloro,

40 The number of men counted in their clans and families came to two thousand six hundred and thirty.	40 E se ne trovarono due mila secento trenta.
41 Such was the total number of men in the Gershonite clans who were eligible for duties in the Tent ofMeeting, and whom Moses and Aaron counted at Yahweh's bidding.	41 Questa è la somma dei Gersoniti contati da Mosè e da Aronne secondo l'ordine del Signore.
42 A census was taken of the Merarite clans by clans and families:	42 Furono eziandio contati i figliuoli di Merari secondo le famiglie, e le case de' padri loro,
43 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for military service, for duties in the Tent of Meeting.	43 Da' trent'anni in poi fino a cinquanta furon contati tutti quelli che entrano ad eseguire leloro incumbenze nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza;
44 The number of men counted in their clans came to three thousand two hundred.	44 E si trovarono tre mila dugento:
45 Such was the total number of men in the Merarite clans, whom Moses and Aaron counted atYahweh's bidding through Moses.	45 Questo è il numero dei figliuoli di Merari, che furon noverati da Mosè e da Aronne, secondol'ordine dato da Dio per mezzo di Mosè.
46 The total number of Levites whom Moses, Aaron and the leaders of Israel counted in their clans andfamilies,	46 Tutti i Leviti, i quali da Mosè e Aronne, e da' principi d'Israele furon contati, e fattiregistrare pe' loro nomi, secondo le famiglie, e le case de' padri loro,
47 al the men between thirty and fifty years of age, eligible for religious duties and for those oftransporting the Tent of Meeting	47 Da' trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta, i quali entravano a servire nel tabernacolo, e aportare i pesi,
48 came to eight thousand five hundred and eighty.	48 Furono la somma di otto mila cinquecento ottanta.
49 At Yahweh's bidding through Moses, a census was taken of them and each man was assigned hisduty and load. And so the census was conducted by Moses as Yahweh had ordered him.	49 Mosè ne fece il novero secondo l'ordine del Signore, assegnata a ciascheduno la suaincumbenza, e il suo peso, conforme aveva a lui comandato il Signore.
